I think you need a whole separate category for overnight oats. These look amazing, and I never liked overnight oats the way I did them. Now that you've mentioned that they can be warmed up, and these awesome flavor combos, I will give them a try.

Please do another one with more combinations. I loved the "carrot cake" one, it is really a new approach for me. Do you think I can replace the oats with quinoa? Thanks a lot for your lovely ideas. I used many of them and sara a lot with family and friends!

@Jayo Delaware - This actually is healthy. She clearly stated in the video that she's using homemade cashew milk, and that people can use the milk option/alternative of their choice. There are also non-dairy yogurt options available for the small amount of yogurt in the recipe. You're being negative for no reason, and you obviously didn't even bother to pay attention to any details in the video because she mentions the cashew milk and non-dairy yogurt at the very beginning.

I don’t normally leave comments, but I had to give my thoughts on this video. This is probably the best recipe for overnight oats I have tried (and I’ve tried tons). This is a great base recipe to do whatever you want, with whatever flavor you want. The consistency is perfectly smooth, and still very substantial. Almost pudding-like. The perfect size for single serving. I can’t say enough about this recipe. Simply perfection. All the recipes on this channel are perfect and work perfectly every time. Seriously!!!

🙂 Been having these for breakfast for a few years now. They are extremely satisfying, because they give slow release energy and stop you snacking. If I eat it at 7.30am, it keeps me going until lunch at 1.30pm. I use just under half cup of organic raw steel cut oats, a handful of mixed raw trail mix (dried dates, seeds, nuts) and vanilla almond milk to soak overnight. In the morning add some yogurt (optional), and cinnamon, and maybe some fresh fruit (if I have any on hand). Favourite combos are : grated apple with walnuts, blueberries with a dollop of peanutbutter, or banana with walnuts. Really loving both walnuts and hazelnuts in the mix.

I usually put it into a bowl and warm it up in the microwave then top with sliced bananas, when available. I can buy 4 bunches of bananas and they will be gone before the end of a week. seven adults and two toddlers who all love bananas. The oats still hold their form and don't get mushy. I still cook steel cut oats. Sometimes for a different taste sensation, I will cook them in strong coffee instead of water. Of course also add water other flavor items I like during the cooking.

@NK Here's a suggestion. Lets give all your meals away to the homeless.

@NK I returned to San Fransisco for 2 weeks, and gave a handful of people without houses, overnight oats everyday. I was able to make them with a quick trip to the Metreon Target (before I discovered Trader Joe's around the corner from my hotel). I was staying at a traditional hotel, without a kitchen, so overnight oats was easy to make.

@NK its a good idea, if they are receptive to it.

This is SOOOO good! I used unsweetened almond milk and also added a 1/2 cup of 1% cottage cheese as well for a protein boost. I despise protein powders and avoid them at all costs lol. Sweetened with maple syrup, it was heavenly. Couldn’t even taste the cottage cheese, which surprised me.

Thank you, I was wondering if I could do cottage cheese. I want to do a strawberry cheesecake one.

Thank you !! Really liked the way you explained it. You made it easy to remember and make it. I am definitely going to try it for tomorrow’s breakfast. I will share how it goes 😊

Great idea for breakfasts. Beats having cereals every morning that don't fill you up. I'm going to buy these jars and start whole new breakfast recipes!

My granddaughter and I just finished making several different flavors and can't wait to try them in the morning. ❤️ I sure hope I like because this will be perfect during the summer.

Thanks, looks great! I’ll use these for light dinners since I don’t eat breakfast, and late night over eating is my downfall. I prefer 1/2 cup full fat greek yogurt. I can prepare them in the morning, and have them ready for dinner instead of other unhealthy food.
