struggled with breakfast choices, then stumbled on this Dani vid about overnight oats. simple, nutritious - a game-changer. Aspect Health, in passing, reminds me of my wellness journey. customization is key, tried the mango coconut combo, loved it. thanks, Dani, for making mornings healthier. looking forward to more ideas!
I started eating overnight oats every morning back in August, and I can honestly say it's changed my life. My health is so much better just from this one change! They're delicious as well! Anyone on the fence about eating oats cold, don't be. I was the same, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE overnight oats! Thanks for all you do, Dani! Happy New Year!
Overnight oatmeal recipes as you can find many channels and google, it is very healthy and great taste. But most of recipes are high calories that you should be careful when you make it. Avoid put much of chia seeds that is high calories. honey is great natural sweetness of material but it will also increase your insulin level if you put on much of it. Definitely healthy food overall just little caution if you want to lose weight.
@@rogerzambranomusic I think you could add any amount that works for you. She probably loves it the way she makes it, but everyone has different taste buds.
These are beyond fabulous! I will be hitting the grocery store immediately after work today to get the ingredients that I don't already have so I can make this for tomorrow morning! Yum!! Thanks so much for all of the wonderful flavor ideas! 😊
Instead of Greek yogurt and “milk” I use Kefir. Add 3T ground flax seeds in the morning and stir into the fermented oats. Then add blueberries on top. No cinnamon in this one. Chia seeds optional. The flax is high in omega-3 and sulfurophane, a cancer fighter. Thanks for the recipes. Looking forward to more. Happy New Year.
I discovered this wonderful recipe from you over a decade ago. It truly is a life changer. I then discovered a few months ago your recipe for overnight steel cut oats. Those have been my go-to breakfast for the past 7 months. Cheap and fulfilling are two wonderful things...especially in this economy. Using 4 cups of unsweetened Almond milk and one (dry) cup of steel cut oats, cooking on the stove per your instructions, I can get six breakfasts servings. I add the usual chia seeds, Greek yogurt, and half a scoop of vanilla whey protein powder (along w/ a splash of almond milk so everything easily blends together). I then flavor each serving similar to what you show in this vid. Thank you, again, for sharing all of your recipes!! All of the ones I have tried thus far have all turned out great!!
@@CleanandDeliciousDani - You are so very welcome!! This platform is perfect for these types of vids. And I love how you don't fill each vid with unnecessary things. You always get right to the point, sharing what is important in each recipe. Oh!!...I also much mention that you taught me how to cook spaghetti squash!! I absolutely LOVE that stuff!! I could eat it every day!!! My Mother would cook it every so often but I was usually outside playing or tinkering in the shop, so I never learned how to cook that one from her before she passed away. A few months after her passing, I was grocery shopping, saw a few spaghetti squash for sale and brought one home. I searched good 'ol UA-cam for help and your vid was the first one I saw/watched. instead of maple syrup i use fruits like bananas and strawberries as a topping or mash n mix them, it really taste great without any added sweeteners like maple syrup, honey, sugar or stevia.

This is off subject...but, I just received your cookbook and we prepared our fresh produce this week. What a help it has been! Our grown nephew/godchild got shingles for New Years Eve and it is our family tradition to share ham and beans on New Years Day....we took him beans, cornbread, a small relish container (really pretty from our cut up veggies), small container cheese and crackers, a few tortilla chips and dip, fresh applesauce, a banana and an apple... dinner and snacks to enjoy when he has to take RX's. Love your cookbook! It's definitely made our life better already, Happy New Year!
I'm sorry to hear your nephew/godchild wasn't feeling well and hope he is feeling better. How lucky is he to have you bring him all of that beautiful, home-cooked food. I'm so glad you are enjoying the cookbook. Thanks for letting me know. XO
Here's a recipe I like for Overnight Oats For each person, stir together in a mason jar: ½ c oats 1 T ground flax seed ½ t cinnamon 1 T maple syrup dash vanilla extract Add ½ c almond (or other plant-based) milk Cover and refrigerate overnight. The next morning, eat as-is or heat in microwave and top with any of the following: berries banana slices chopped apple chopped nuts/seeds, e.g., walnuts, almonds, pecans, pumpkin seeds

Hey, Dani! Tried your overnight oats with blueberries and lemon zest the other day! Really good and when you need a healthy breakfast in a hurry, this is spot on!
Thanks!! It’s my first time with overnight oats, and I made the apple-pie and chocolate protein editions. Macros are great at 53g of protein per jar (= two servings), and it tastes great!😊
I switched to overnight oats because with my early morning schedule (4:00 am) I did not want to wake up the house making a smoothie. I love overnight oats! Nothing to prepare just take it out the fridge and enjoy. Delish!
I do much the same but with steel-cut oats. It only takes 15 minutes in the steam setting of my Instant Pot. I also use that Instant Pot to make yogurt (actually kefir) from much-cheaper milk. Put the milk in three wide-mouth mason jars. They fit perfectly in the pot of a 6-quart Instant Pot. When done, they're already in containers and ready for the refrig.
I add cold brew coffee in mine instead of almond milk or split if half half for an extra boost of energy when needed. I also add a scoop of vanilla bean protein powder it's 😋.
Loved that video, thanks for the rich informations present in that. sad part is I live in Brazil and Maple Syrup isn't affordable to have in here, so I always use honey instead.

These look great! Have a series of questions. U made a large batch right, so how long can you have this in the fridge for? Can i make a large batch and use all week or will it get too thick or soggy? If so, if I leave in fridge for several days, I assume its best to not put any toppings like fresh fruits as they may get too mushy/soggy after several days, no? If I have the base made from overnight, will it taste good adding all the topping the morning of, or it's best to let it all marinate overnight? Thanks!
Funny that you”decant” them out of the lovely little jars which I would have thought would be a great way to serve them. Thank you so much for the reminder of the greatness of overnight oats!

Hi there, Great ideas and Great recipes. I have a couple of questions, Pretty Please... 1. what brand of Greek Yogurt are you using? Is it plain? 2. I have diverticulosis and I can't eat chia seeds or any kind of small seeds...do you have any recommendations? Please
I use a similar base recipe - substitute chia seeds for ground flax seed. And use a high protein skim milk. I'll add the greek yogurt right before eating instead of during the soaking process if I need more liquid.
Hi Dani I went and got all the proper ingredients to make overnight oats and they are delicious. I didn't think I would like them but boy was I wrong so creamy and yummy
I love overnight oats, too. The apple (Honeycrisp or Macintosh) is delicious. 🍎 Unsweetened soy or almond milk with date syrup are favorites. I’m going to try the pumpkin as well as the PB&J. Thanks for the fresh ideas! 💡 Cheers!🥂
Pink Lady Apples (AKA select Cripp's Pink Apples) are the best apple you can buy in any US market: Sweet, tart, intense complex floral flavor that makes every other apple taste bland by comparison.
Last night l made your basic recipe adding my protein powder....This morning l had the most loveliest tasting breakfast..l am from Australia and it's summer here,so my breakfast was tasty, healthy ...and cool ..Thanks Dani
Oh, I am so drooling when watching this overnight oats breaksfast!!! 😋😋 Now that is cold here in Portugal (really cold for us), I love having my breaksfast hot. Danny, two questions for you: 1 - do you think I pour on some more milk or a dash of water so that it becomes creamier? 2 - as my mom suffers from diverticulitis, is it ok to make the chia seeds into a powder? Don't know why but watching your videos on healthy breakfast makes me more enthusiastic about getting up early - or maybe I do know why...😊😋 All the best to you and your family! Love from Portugal, Carla 💙
Hi there! I think adding more milk would be perfect - just a splash or two until you get the consistency you desire. And yes - if you grind the chia seeds they will still work well in this recipe.
You actually get more of he essential oils and other good stuff from chia seeds when you grind or blend them. Raw they will mostly just pass through the system undigested. You can easily use water I use water instead of milk. The oats themselves give a milky flavor when soaked in water.
Thank you for the idea of having overnight oats for breakfast. I am not so fond of oats especially sweet ones but will try to have on weekend as late breakfast with coffee
@CleanandDeliciousDani do you have a video on making applesauce ( out of all the cooking videos, your videos are very helpful because of the written recipes in the video, I don't have to search for it somewhere else) ❓️ I didn't see one

❤ perfect timing, I need to go back to this for work lunches. I usually add a spoon of hemp seeds as well. Have you tried other liquids besides milks? I did cider once in fall with diced apples but too sweet for daily habit.

I'm so glad you're back with new recipes! It had been awhile since I saw an upload from you and I was afraid that you were done with YT! Can't wait to try some of these delicious sounding oat recipes!
I refrigerate my oats before eating and always do stair climbing exercises after eating them. I eat soft boiled eggs first to allow the protein to slow the carbs from oatmeal to raise my blood sugar. I feel the burn in my legs when climbing stairs afterwards.
They all look amazing! I can’t wait to try them all! How long will they stay good in the refrigerator? Can you make a few of them and eat them during the week?
Yes you can! If they don’t have fillings (so base recipe only - add the toppings when you eat them) they will last in the fridge up to five days. With the stir-ins they last up to three days!
You can do this but the technique is a little bit different. Here is a video I shared a few years back showing you how to make steel-cut overnight oats on the stovetop. Please let me know if you have any questions. ua-cam.com/video/uw_mSc9Wvxk/v-deo.html

I love overnight oats, too. The apple (Honeycrisp or Macintosh) is delicious. 🍎 Unsweetened soy or almond milk with date syrup are favorites. I’m going to try the pumpkin as well as the PB&J. Thanks for the fresh ideas! 💡 Cheers!🥂
It's my pleasure! Thanks for watching and sharing your favorites.
That's so fun to read - thanks for sharing this with me. I'm so glad you enjoyed them.
Can we use all these recipes for weight gain too?
Oh, I am so drooling when watching this overnight oats breaksfast!!! 😋😋
Now that is cold here in Portugal (really cold for us), I love having my breaksfast hot.
Danny, two questions for you:
1 - do you think I pour on some more milk or a dash of water so that it becomes creamier?
2 - as my mom suffers from diverticulitis, is it ok to make the chia seeds into a powder?
Don't know why but watching your videos on healthy breakfast makes me more enthusiastic about getting up early - or maybe I do know why...😊😋
All the best to you and your family!
Love from Portugal, Carla 💙
Hi there! I think adding more milk would be perfect - just a splash or two until you get the consistency you desire. And yes - if you grind the chia seeds they will still work well in this recipe.
@@CleanandDeliciousDani , thanks! We'll definitely try them!
That sounds fabulous! Enjoy them - I'm curious as to which flavor you will try first.
Hi Dani, I make my overnight oats the same, love it, however I eat a boiled egg with it. Keeps me full till 12:30 pm. Happy New Year.
Great idea!! I love the added protein for satiety.
The protein powder doesn't stink when left for overnight?
How long can we store it for?
The short wide mason jars I like. I use applesauce and was thinking about making my own and the short jars would be ideal ‼️👍
They would be perfect for applesauce!
@CleanandDeliciousDani do you have a video on making applesauce ( out of all the cooking videos, your videos are very helpful because of the written recipes in the video, I don't have to search for it somewhere else) ❓️ I didn't see one
I just watched your Overnight Oats 6 Ways video and I have to say, the information you provided was fantastic! It was explained so simply and was easy to understand. I tried out the recipes you shared, and they were incredibly easy to make. My mom loved them too!
I'll definitely be sharing this valuable information with others who are looking for easy and healthy breakfast options.
Speaking from personal experience, I made one of the recipes using True Elements rolled oats, and it turned out amazing. Thank you for sharing such valuable insights and these wonderful recipes!
Happy Holidays Dani. 🎉
You have no idea how much I need this!! All the extra sweets and treats and wine over the holidays, oh boy...I need ideas for an easy healthy start to the New Year. You are just person that can set me staight 😁
Thanks Dani!! Take care!!
All the best for the New Year!!
I'm pretty sure you're not alone! Be sure to check back each week as we will be sharing more easy, healthy breakfast ideas to start the year. Happy New Year! XO
Without reading all these comments I was wondering if you could tell me how many overnight oats to make at a time? I was thinking four or five but I just wanted to make surre.
The overnight oats will happily last up to five days without added fruit. With added fruit, I find three days is ideal. I hope that helps.
❤ perfect timing, I need to go back to this for work lunches. I usually add a spoon of hemp seeds as well. Have you tried other liquids besides milks? I did cider once in fall with diced apples but too sweet for daily habit.
I've never tried another liquid - so interesting! I bet eggnog would be delicious if looking for more of a sweet treat!
Some berries and a vanilla flavored protein powder is my go to. If I can, I also throw in flax and chia seeds.
How pretty are these! Thank you Dani. All beautiful, clean and delicious! Great tip on mango. How cool was that! To a Happy and Healthy new year dear! ❤
Hi Ginafriend1690! YES! They are so pretty and so delicious - I hope you get to give them a try. And I'm so glad you enjoyed the tip for cutting your mango as well! Happy New Year! XO
These look so amazing!! Also very healthy!
Thank you! I hope you get to give them a try.
I am going to do overnight oats more this year. Thank you
Enjoy them!!
What do you recommend for protein powder? Thanks ❤
How long will these last in the fridge? Can I make several days in advance? They look delicious
Oh dear I have no words to say thank you to you 💖 coz this is such an extremely important video for me 💖here every word you say is an answer for every question I had on preparing oat meal 💖 once again thank you soooo much for bringing us this video 👍💐💝💖♥️💞
I like that you add some mindset tips too!
I'm so glad you're back with new recipes! It had been awhile since I saw an upload from you and I was afraid that you were done with YT! Can't wait to try some of these delicious sounding oat recipes!
We are back! Thanks for your patience!! Happy to have you here!
Grind your chia for better absorption and less bloating. ❤❤❤❤❤
Loved this video! Can I use frozen fruit instead of fresh? Have frozen all the time!
I refrigerate my oats before eating and always do stair climbing exercises after eating them. I eat soft boiled eggs first to allow the protein to slow the carbs from oatmeal to raise my blood sugar. I feel the burn in my legs when climbing stairs afterwards.
Can I substitute more almond milk in place of Greek yogurt?
That may work but I would definitely use a few extra chia seeds to help thicken the oats.
Try banana as the topping! It's so good!
I learned a lot 🇯🇵😍🌸☺fast and direct. Straight to the point
These looked so delicious and easy to make! Thanks so much for sharing!
Are these overnight oats good for a meal prep plan?
Thank you these recipes are simple and yummy. I made a few of them - the apple pie was a hit!
Great!! I can’t wait to try them! Thank you for sharing 💜💜
My pleasure! Enjoy.@@amboclark
Hi Dani. Thank you for sharing your recipes. I made the chocolate and the taste was very bitter. Wondering if u have an idea why❤
What's a good substitute for almond milk if your watching sugar intake
Danny, any recipes for weight gain please?
And I don't like chewy oats, guess it'll be okay for me to try these out with quick cook oats?
Happy New Year Dani. ❤
Thank you! Same to you!!
Thank you for this recipe! I just made a jar for tomorrow morning!
It’s my pleasure! Enjoy it.

Ms Dani I am making every night my overnight oats thank you.and also muffins
Interesting combination. I do not remember seeing it before. Will try. Thanks. Gluten is good for everybody, who does not have an allergy to it, btw 🙂
I know Rolled Oats are preferable, but can you make overnight oats with Steel Cut Oats? Thanks for the recipes!
You can do this but the technique is a little bit different. Here is a video I shared a few years back showing you how to make steel-cut overnight oats on the stovetop. Please let me know if you have any questions. ua-cam.com/video/uw_mSc9Wvxk/v-deo.html
This is incredible ! I can’t wait to try these !
Great tips. Easy and healthy breakfast.
Glad it was helpful. Enjoy!!
I already try the first and I love it and is my every morning breakfast, but I going to try all. Thanks for your recipes
Dani, these are awesome recipes. I will be using these to make breakfast for a busy work week. My favorite one is the one with the mango added to the ingredients. This will be one of the first ones to make for breakfast. Thank you so much for sharing these healthy recipes!
It's my pleasure! Enjoy the mango oats - they are so good!
I’m going to try the mango+coconut and pumpkin pie recipes those two are my favourite mixes 😋
Good morning! I just want to know is overnight oats is good for diabetic? If I eat every morning? Hope you read my message.
Hello can i add one tablespoon if protein powder thanks for sharing
U explain like a teacher.👍👍
Hi Dani, can you recommend an alternative to greek yogurt? I need dairy free. Thanks so much! You’re Awesome ♥️
You can easily swap in a plant-based yogurt - I really like the coconut varieties.
