Am I missing something, or could your proportions be off? For 1/2c. milk, you use 2 tbsp chia. Multiply both sides by 4, to maintain the proportions, and 2c milk should get 8 tbsp chia. That's 1/2 c. of chia. You say you're using 1/4 c.
@Doc Atheist Hi there - I believe I did say 1/2 cup of chia seeds in the video when I discuss the batch prepping portion. Can you tell me where it was stated as 1/4 cup of chia?

The mandarin orange pudding was delicious!
The chocolate one.
I'm a teacher and I have to say that you are an excellent teacher. The way you presented the recipes, from speaking slowly and clearly, to writing out the instructions, and showing everything step by step--those are all the best teacher practices that I have been taught. This was awesome to watch, thank you!
Wow, thank you so much for the amazingly kind words! This is actually one of the best comments I've received here and it made my day, so I really appreciate it. I always try to present the information in the most accessible way I can to make it easily digestible for anyone - even someone with zero cooking experience. So it's incredibly rewarding to hear those comments coming from a teacher :) Thank you so much!
@gabbym333..Agreed. Very good video.
Frozen mango chunks are shockingly good and easy to use, when you can't get fresh or don't want to bother cutting them.
I totally agree! They're such a great time saver, and because they're already pre-ripened, they taste great right out of the bag. Frozen peaches and pineapples are two of my other favs as well!
And where I live, it’s hard to get really good mangoes because they have to pick them too early, like I used to get in Puerto Rico…so the frozen ones are ripe and taste amazing!
Can u suggest a brand. I once got frozen ones from Walmart, they are not good
Thanks! Hadn’t thought of frozen & now they’re out of season in the Midwest 🤷🏽♀️
Yeah. That sounds great. So does the chocolate recipe, the apple pie, and the pumpkin. @@toastyapron
I make cashew milk for my chia pudding. 1 cup raw cashews covered with water refrigerated over night. Drain next morning, dump in blender and add 4 cups water and 1-3 seeded dates. Blend on high for 2 minutes. I top the chia pudding with fresh berries. Love it.
Awesome! Great recipe tips - thanks so much for sharing and for watching, that sounds delish!
wow sounds wonderful
Wait, am I missing something here. So 1 cup of raw cashew is over 700 cal. Im not trying to consuming 1000 calories in 1 small bowl of pudding. That is insane.
@@alyssabrown6480 looks like 1 cup of cashews makes 4+ cups of milk.
Same recipe works for almond milk, too. Pure food w/o additives/chemicals.
I've always failed at chia pudding because I was unaware of the "5 minute rest and repeat" rule.
Thank you for that vital piece of info. Now I'm about to make chia pudding a staple in my diet again!
For sure! Yes that step is super important to make sure the chia pudding gets mixed together properly and to prevent clumping :) Thanks so much for watching, I'm glad you found the video helpful!
I failed at quinoia, until I read that it must be rinsed thoroughly.
That made all the difference. I love it now.
@Kathryn Letchford I'm so glad to hear that the tip was helpful for you! Thanks for sharing!
Grind the chias first. Much better tasting and texture. I love chia pudding since i started doing this.
Same here. The 5 minute rule made my pudding so much better.
THANK YOU for the 5 minute stirring rule! No one has ever shared that that I've seen!
Thanks for watching - I'm so glad you found it helpful! It's such an important tip! 😀
If you grind your chia, it goes further. I love these they look amazing
This is the type of information I need!!! Instead of using 3 tablespoons whole chia, I could whizz in the spice grinder and cut those calories in half, 1.5 tablespoons for the same thickness, love it.
Wao bahut hi zabardast ki receipe hai nice cooking
Yes, I will try. Thank you.
Tapioca is how I think of it. I soak it then cook like oatmeal and a tablespoon of cream on top. Very filling.
It's been so long since I made chia pudding, I used to have it all the time. I will try out some of your amazing recipes, thank you for yet another great video!
Thank you so much again for watching Luiza! I'm glad you enjoyed it and hope you'll be able to try out some of these recipes!
Chia pudding with 6 flavors for easy, healthy breakfast snacks? Count me in! I tried this recipe and loved the unique way you cooked it. Each flavor idea was so creative and made breakfast prep a breeze.
As someone who is always looking for nutritious and tasty meal options, this chia pudding recipe was a game-changer. It's perfect for spring and summer, and the variety of flavors kept things interesting.
One more thing, I made it with True Elements Chia seeds, and it turned out amazing. The quality of the chia seeds really made a difference. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
I don't think I ever tried making Chia Pudding at home, but I have watched some videos, yours is the best I have watched so far. I will try attempt to make a few options and see how successful they get for my family. Thanks for posting.
Wow, thank you so much for saying that - I really appreciate it! I'm glad you enjoyed it and inspired you to give it a try - it's delicious and so simple (and feel free to check out my Overnight Oats video as well for another easy meal prep!). Thanks for watching!
This is exactly what I needed for healthy snacks. Thanks so much. I love making it with almond, coconut or concentrated milk .
Awesome, great to hear! Those are great milk choices. Thanks so much for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
I've heard of chia pudding and I eat chia seeds with vanilla ice cream (believe it or not) but I never realized how easy chia pudding could be until now. You've really inspired me. Thank you.
That's wonderful to hear! I'm so glad it inspired you with how easy it is to make :) Thank you so much for watching and for sharing!
I tried your oatmeal and banana recipe, and I must say, it's fantastic! The unique way you combined the ingredients and cooked them made a huge difference in taste and texture.
Adding true chia seeds to the recipe was a brilliant idea. Not only did it enhance the nutritional value, but it also contributed to the overall deliciousness of the dish. I'm thrilled with the results. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!
Thank you so much. These look delicious and I LOVE chia seeds.
Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for sharing! 😋
My go to are more overnight oats with chia seeds in it. I use a mix of oats, chia seeds, soy vanilla protein powder, soy milk and sweetener. I have sweeteners with different tastes, and I love caramel and maple flavor. I have berries and sometimes passion fruit on top 😋
I mostly goes for the one over here, but a cafe in my town has layers of raspberries/strawberries purée and mango or passion fruit purée, and one with chocolate pudding and peanut butter on top 😋 I have made with vegan Nutella in or on top too at home. There are so many yummy ways to eat this, and I eat one everyday 🥰😋
Thanks again!
Johanne, Norway 🇳🇴
Thanks so much for watching and for sharing! You're absolutely right, there are so many ways to enjoy this and be creative with different flavours. I'll have to try some of the ones you mentioned (and I love passion fruit!)

I’ve been looking for a chia pudding recipe but so far these recipes are the best! Thank you for sharing.❤
Thank you so much for the support! I'm glad you enjoyed watching!
I make my own milks, oat, hemp, nuts, etc. So I was thrilled to watch your recipes! I have made chia puddings before, and liked them, but your recipes have created a spark in me!! I usually layer chia seeds with fresh or dried fruit, or a combo - try dried seeded dates and a crisp apple😍
That's so amazing to hear! Thank you so much for the kind words - I'm happy that the recipes have created a spark in you to continue exploring and trying new things! Dates and a crisp apple sound delicious :)
Stay away from oat milk..spikes your blood sugar, it’s concentrated carbs.. stick with coconut milk instead
Super awesome video! Recipes are quick and easy. I will definitely be incorporating these into my weekday breakfast routine. Thank you :)
Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and hope they make your weekly breakfast routine a little tastier and more convenient!

I love how you keep repeating the steps for each one of them. Absolutely going to try 🥭🥭. Thank you🤩👏🏻
I'm glad you found that helpful! Thank you for watching!
I love this recipes. I tried once chia seeds soaked on coconut milk (ealrir this year) and I have always wanted to replicated it. I added just almond flakes and blueberries and tasted delicious. Now these elevate chia seeds, to another level.

Glad I found your channel. I used to eat chia pudding all the time before the pandemic ,and then after seeing your video I will be making it again now that I remember how good chia seeds are for you and the different ways you can have it.
Thank you so much for watching! I agree, chia pudding is amazing in so many ways - convenient, nutritious and so versatile, it's something I quickly whip up often, just to have ready to grab-and-go anytime (and saves me from munching on a bag of chips or a bowl of ice cream!)
Thank you so much for all these ideas!
Thank you so much for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the recipe ideas!
Wow! I'm just so happy to accidentally saw this video. I had this the first time in my life in New Zealand on every breakfast. I liked it so much but didn't know how they did them. Now I can share it with my friends. Thank you.
Thank you so much for watching! I'm so glad you found it helpful in bringing chia pudding back into your life! :)
Excellent video! I have also failed at chia pudding because of that 5 min resting period so kudos to you for this profound info! Love it ❤
Amazing! I'm always so happy to hear when a simple tip (like the 5 min resting period) helps a viewer out so much. Thanks for watching and for the support!
Thanks so much for this video. I have made chia pudding several times but never used this precise ratio and I think it will work much better. Also I like that you showed us how to make a big batch in a large bowl for the base and then different flavors. Thank you. 🎉
Awesome, thank you for watching and for the kind words!
BRAVO!! WELL DONE!!! Thank you! Your instructions were so easy to follow. Can't wait to try these.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you found the video helpful and easy to follow! Hope you enjoy making these at home :)
I recently watched your video on 'CHIA PUDDING » 6 Flavours for Easy, Healthy Breakfast Snacks | Spring/Summer Meal Prep,' and I must say, it was fantastic! I have tried this recipe and love the unique way you cooked and presented each flavor of chia pudding. It's a delightful and nutritious breakfast option for any season.
In my personal experience, chia pudding has become a staple in my morning routine. It's not only easy to make but also incredibly versatile, allowing me to customize it with different flavors and toppings.
One more thing, I made this recipe with True Elements Chia seeds, and it turned out amazing. The quality of True Elements Chia seeds definitely made a difference in the taste and texture of the pudding. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!
If you don't like the seed texture, use ground chia for a smooth recipe. You can buy it pre-ground or just grind it in a coffee grinder or blender, before using in your recipe! 🙂👍
That's a great tip - thanks for sharing!
I was literally just thinking about this... Thank you for the tip. Be well.
They say that our bodies can only make use of the healthy components in
chia seeds when they are ground.
WOW! what an idea, I will today
This is such a great idea, as I like the flavor but can't stand the texture and I don't wanna lose our on all these health benefits - much obliged!
And if you use a neutral flavor sweetener instead of maple (such as agave) and the add a little real vanilla extract to the base mixture, it taste almost exactly like smooth tapioca pudding. To get an exact match on real tapioca pudding flavor, you would have to used cane sugar. But I think the idea here is to avoid that in the diet.
That's a great tip! I'll have to give that a try as I love the taste of tapioca pudding. Thanks for sharing!
I adore tapioca pudding. Thanks!
Mounkfruit is a great sweetener very low in calorie
Maple syrup is healthier then agave syrup.
These are awesome ideas. Look so delicious. I used chia seeds long time, I just mix them with green tea; never think about it like these. Thank you so much for sharing! I definitely follow these. 🌹👍💕
I've just disvovered a new way of eating! This is awesome!
Thank you so much🙏❤

Awesome! I hope these ideas help and hope you enjoy making it for breakfast! Thanks for watching :)
I tried this today and it was scrumptious! Of course instead of maple syrup I used a dash of vanilla syrup which is not the healthiest option but omg it was good. I will be exploring combinations. Thanks for the inspiration!
Amazing! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it - vanilla syrup is definitely worth indulging over :) Thanks so much for watching!
I love chia pudding. I started doing it with greek yoghurt instead of milk and it comes out so creamy. I definitely need to try out the mango and the apple one though
Awesome! I hope you enjoy making the mango and apple ones - they're two of my favs! And subbing greek yogurt instead of milk is a great tip for extra creaminess. Thanks for watching :)
I make mine with milk kefir and l add date water for sweetening plus a little cinnamon. It's nice too..😊
I did yry with yogurt but didn't turn iut right.

Absolutely love chia pudding! Thanks for sharing another great recipe and meal preps.
Thank you so much again for watching! Always happy to see another chia pudding fan!
I rarely if ever put a sweetener in my chia pudding. It tastes great on its own (I use pea-based milk the most). Having said that, I thank you for your ideas on the various puddings. I'll certainly try them.
Thanks so much for watching!
Great job! I used to make chia pudding and eat it plain but you've inspired me to be more creative!!!

He definitely could do TV commercial voiceovers. Thank you for these recipes. I hope the kids like them. I need the chia seeds to fill those hollow legs. 😂🤣
Also, I love how you give a list of ingredients. New sub!
@Kathleen Brown haha aw. Thank you :) I'm going to have to hire an agent soon for those TV commercial voiceovers!
@@toastyapron Serious word of warning. Another channel I listen to... he got ripped off. He signed a contract and they now own his voice! I hear it on a lot of commercials. Get a very good acting lawyer to assure you are protected.
My wife had just sent me this video, I was totally unaware that you're supposed to let it sit for 5 minutes and then stir again. And so everytime that I have tried anything with Chia seeds in the past they always got soaked lumpy and I've never enjoyed them so much. But this has helped tremendously! And the recipes are great! I made my own little recipe with some banana peanut butter honey and some heavy cream with water and it came out wonderful! Thank you again for the video!
That's amazing! I'm so happy to hear that. Yes I find that step is so critical in making sure they don't clump up together - I always love how such a small tiny tweak can make such a big difference to a recipe. I'm glad you found it helpful - thank you so much for watching!
Just the inspiration and easy directions I needed. Thank you for the many delicious combos.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful! Thanks for watching and good luck!

Fantastic! I'm so glad you were able to make them and enjoyed them as well! Thank you for watching and for giving them a try! 🙂
Hey there, is there anyway you could create some videos covering the topic of Make Ahead and then Freeze for Convenience meal prep ideas? I am really interested in ways to spend say an entire weekend prepping and freezing portioned proteins etc and then having a simple dinner by just grabbing parts from the freezer. I would love to see your take on this type of prep. Thanks for the amazing content otherwise.
Absolutely! That's a fantastic idea for a future video. I do have a video on this topic with meal prepping Quinoa Power Bowls, if you're interested feel free to check it out! ua-cam.com/video/AlSvyLG1etI/v-deo.html

Awesome! Enjoy topping them with some fun ingredients - I'd love to hear what you come with and how it turns out for you! Thanks for watching and for giving it a try!
I made your mango and coconut chia pudding. I caught a small taste and it catapulted me straight to a tropical island. A little mini-vacay.
I also experimented with a peanut butter and jelly idea by adding pb2, maple syrup, and homemade oat milk(SO much cheaper homemade) to the base, then blending it extra well(this one will get chunky without the extra five minute blend, no doubt), and layering the pudding with a strawberry preserve.
It's nostalgic and tasty, and this pregnant lady is now ready to tackle her next few days' worth of cravings!
The mango coconut really is like a mini tropical vacay! I'm so glad you enjoyed it - and the pb&j sounds delicious! Thanks so much for watching!
I've loved chia seed pudding since forever and I didn't want to pay dollars for a small portion in cafes. So I made my own too! But I have a thing for savory desserts and if you have the same taste buds, try topping it with peanut butter, granola and pretzel biscuits!
They're so much better and more cost effective to make at home! Thanks so much for watching, and I'll definitely have to give that PB/granola/pretzel combo a try!
I've been wanting to change up my eating habits to eat healthier and smarter the way you present your recipes is easy to remember and change up if you want. Ty for sharing. I used to love my Great Grandmother's tapioca pudding.

Be aware of consuming too much chia pudding ! Only eat as part of a properly balanced diet. Be sure to drink plenty of water if you consume it every day.
Why?
@@chelseaandhobbesI almost died. Ate too much. It clumped up in my intestines into a size of a big apple. I could barely passed it through. I literally almost died from my colon bursting. I didn't touch chia seeds forc10y from fear. Now, I eat only 1/2 cup of it few times a month.
@@infullbloom3246 how’d you know it was the pudding? How much were you eating?
@@NellieLuve 1 big bowl 😟
I soak my chia and flax seeds in water before use. Make a few days worth in a jar ,mixed with water . Keep in fridge. Have them in a smoothie.
