Super helpful - just took delivery of the 12 Lite for use in travel power disruption situations in remote areas of South America. Testing it now and power thru works well on my Z2 as does the battery only when I disconnect the main electrical supply - no delay in power transfer. I will test the overnight on battery only tonight and have calendared the semi annual recharge for the next 18 months. Thanks again for the info on both the Z2 and the battery option - a much smaller travel set up than my AS10 and battery back up to boot.
I purchased the Medistorm Pilot 24 for my resmed airsense 10 before a trip on a sailboat. Used it the first night at home just to make sure everything worked. Unit worked fine the first night out, died during the night on the second night and would not charge. Everyone had to shuffle berths to put me near a plug so I could use engine power at night. Returned it as soon as we got home and was afraid to accept a replacement after being let down. There has to be a reliable alternative.
Hi Laura, yes i agree. I would probably recommend a 250-300 watt system just to be on the safe side and probably even more if you are planning on using heated tube / humid etc. All the best. Nicko
G'day mate, you can't do that unless you got some sort of DC conversion cable that dropped the 24V down to the 12V. You're best to get the Pilot 12 lite and the Z1 cable kit (which also works with the Z2). There's some pretty sweet new batteries from remsleep also which you should check out - ua-cam.com/video/kluecowjex8/v-deo.html
My Med 12 battery operates now down to 3 hours per night after complete recharge. What may have happened? How can I restore it to perform as it did in the past? Thanks
They are junk. Get a 12Ah 12V lithium iron phosphate battery from motorcycle battery shop and 12v to 24v converter and make it yourself like me. 12 hours power for $40. Not $400 like this junk.
These are lithium NMC batteries, junk and flammable. Get yourself some Lifepo4 much better. 12v 12Ah equals 144Wh, mine with dc-dc step up converter runs 12 hours sleep.
@@CPAPReviews Has the 24 Plus battery been discontinued? I note it has an on/off switch which I think is a good thing as my current 24Lite constantly drains and is basically useless. I would really like to buy it but can't find it anywhere :(

I just received my 24 battery, thank you for explaining how to use.

Your videos are fantastic, thank you so much for this channel!
Hi Nicko with 12 lite backup battery now it doesn't come with AC adapter the only come now dreamstation cable
can you connect two Pilot 24's together (plug one into the 2nd then into the C-Pap machine) for a longer/bigger charge?
You are always so helpful, but these are a bit pricey. Could a cpap be run on 200 watt portable power station? Thanks!

Thankyou very much Nicko

Hi Nick my battery is flashing green .is it over charged or stuffed lol thanks
I doubt it's stuffed. Give medistrom a call :)
You went really fast and the picture was far away. I had a difficult time keeping up. Wish you went slower and had the camera closer to the product
It's a 12 minute video (LONG) and you can always press the pause button.
CPAP Reviews yup

I have the same complaint. You went too fast for me to keep up and see what you were talking about.
