don't forget to keep the battery terminals greased up and to hook up another 12v source to your battery clamps while you replace it so the built in computers don't reset themselves. this can cause issues later.
Hey Paul did you ever manage to remove the intake manifold on your rav4 without taking off the cylinder head? I need to take mine off and I really don't want to take the head off if I can avoid it
Of course the intake can be removed separately! The bolts are hard to reach but you definitely don't have to take the head off. I just did it that way because my car needed a head gasket, so the head was coming off anyway.
@@LabCoatPaul oh so i need more power Is the 3s-ge a good engine swap ? I dont want the extreme and something hard to swap like the 3s-gte bcz there is not a lot of part in my country
@@hotchocolate9887 Installing the wrong engine in your car is going to be hard. You will need to modify the wiring harness, you'll need to make custom exhaust and intake systems. There isn't much difference between swapping the 3S-GE and 3S-GTE engines. The 3S-GTE will require a new fuel pump, and you may have some clearance issues with the turbo, but the amount of labor is only slightly different from the 3S-GE. There is no "easy" engine swap.

Love the short videos you've been launching lately. Super Clean and nice narrating voice 👌 😄
Remember, you can put the reciept under the battery so youll always have it
That's smart. I didn't even think about that.
@@LabCoatPaul potentially in a ziplock bag so the friction doesnt damage the reciept over time.
