- Today we're out for a track test in a 2023 Corvette C8 Stingray in the Z51 performance package. Definitely a pricy car but with its styling coupled with performance we're not complaining, especially if it's in your budget. But let me know what you think of the Corvette C8 in the Z51 package!

Looks like Chevrolet has dialed out the alignment issue from when this car was first released. What do you all think of the C8 Corvette!?
Besides your lovely first experience I need to say how crisp your audio quality is. Thought it was a voiceover in post production until you talked to the passenger. Haven't heard that remarkable quality from any automotive UA-camr, not even the large channels like throttle house
Mid engine corvette! Budget Lamborghini? We have Zora to thank for this creation.
When I drove this a few things stood out. First on a 75mph 200 mile hwy run it averaged 35mpg. It was also as smooth on the hwy as a Lexus. Yet when you put it into it’s different drive modes it comes alive. It’s also an eye catcher, I had many people ask what it was and to rev the engine. I can’t wait to drive the Z06.
After 2 Z06s (C6 and C7), I opted to order a '24 Z51. The 11.2 1/4-mile is about the same as my '19 due to far better traction and shorter gears, despite the '24 being down 155 hp. I'm done with big-hp, front-engine RWD cars. Chevy hit a home run with the mid-engine C8.

Hey, nice Corvette, I like the interior.
Tires and springs are all you need to dial this thing into legitimate race car for the road territory. MSS has a spring kit calibrated for the C8 that will demolish any track in combination with the mag ride suspension, and no other brand allows you to dial the car in for so cheap. Y chassis C8 series is FAR more than anyone is giving credit for. With that hp tuner kit and a super or turbo then people will witness Mclaren like acceleration for far less than half the price, and devastating track monsters.

Have you driven a 991.2 911? I'm considering both as my next track, summer fun car.
I own both. Turbo 991.2. There's nothing better. The C8 is great because it offers a different driving experience the 911 and is everything this guy says it is and a little more. Love it.
