C8 Z51 Corvette After 7,500 Miles

I recently did the 7500 mile service on the 2021 HTC Z51 corvette and decided that I should take it to the track as well. This requires a couple things, like overfilling the transmission and changing the alignment.

Looks amazing! As nice as the convertible looks, and this is just personal preference... I like the look of the targa almost as much, plus you can see that amazing LT1 V8 with the targa... The view of the engine alone evens out the looks for me. The targa weighs a bit less, and you also get more space. Plus, with the targa top off, you have just about as much open space above your head as the convertible. You can't go wrong with either choice though. Sorry to sound like I am bashing your Corvette. No matter the configuration, I love all Corvettes! Such a beautiful machine! Best of luck with it 👍

This is just a GoPro 10 clipped on to my hat. For the track I use a stick on mount on my helmet

Hey John there is a 17mm bolt on the left side of the transmission that allows you to add fluid. To overfill with two qt I bought a special funnel with a long hose and then lifted only the left side of the vette so that the car was tilted and the extra transmission fluid would not spill out.

Yes I daily this. Almost at 10,000 miles now. The added tire wear is negligible when compared to the performance benefits

For the street... I think the cross plane crank is way better anyway... Instant torque... I rode a honda f3 for 80k miles... My next bike was a v4 750cc... big bang configuration so basically a huge vtwin... The torque was so satisfying.. I wish I had ridden vtwins for all those years.
