The goal isn't to refuel every 15 minutes (time it takes to empty the chiron's tank on full gas). I wouldn't say easily. They would need to do some very drastic changes in order to compete, to the point where the final vehicle wold be radically different: Just some numbers to think about in WEC Hyperclass: - Maximum output: 500 kW (about 671 hp) - Minimum weight: 1030 kg If this thing were to race they will have to cut down a little less than 1000 HP from its original output (1600 ps). Supressing some turbos might do the trick while also lowering weight but they would also need room to install a hybrid system (which adds even more weight!) and on top of that they would need to significantly reduce downforce figures. The resulting car would be underpowered, overweight and tremendously limited in terms of downforce. And that's without going into the specificities of the engine and its reliability.
Over a single lap, I don't think this car would know where the Valkyrie went. This is a track only hypercar for sure but the Valkyrie is pretty much a pseudo prototype. To beat it, you'd need another race car.

I noticed Le Mans Driver’s neck is so strong, he’s not swinging back n forth like the co driver, crazy how his body is used to this level of G force in straights turns and braking zone. Result of Years of training and experience and some people refuse to believe that racers are also athletes.
Thats because he knows when he's going to brake and he can brace whereas the passenger doesn't know when he is going to and by the time he does brake, its too late to brace lol. Also holding onto the steering wheel helps
The actual reason is that the passenger didn't do his belts up tight, probably for dramatic effect in the video. If he had done his belts up properly, he would have been fine!

I was just reading about this car on Wikipedia.... its hard to wrap my head around the numbers. The car has in excess of 1800HP, only weighs about 3200 pounds, can accelerate to 400kph in 12 seconds (!!!!!!?!?!?!!!!!) and 500kph (!!!!!) in TWENTY SECONDS! This car can hit 300 kph before most family sedans can hit 100. From a rolling start, it could easily pull away from any F1 car and it would never be able to catch up, let alone match its top speed. The 1980s era turbo cars in qualifying trim could maybe keep up if they could put the power down. This car would probably embarrass group-C legends like the 787B and Sauber C9 around any track they raced on. This car is absolutely insane.
Another masterpiece created by Frank Götzke - one of the best German engineers of our time. Overall the engineers at Bugatti Engineering GmbH in Wolfsburg really created another absolute beast with the "Bolide". Can't wait to see actual lap times of this monster.
The combination of materials is wonderful and how Bugatti incorporates it all is exciting. I love that engine. The engineering and stoutness of that powertrain just boggles my mind. An true in-depth video of the underpinnings would be epic.
Only thing I can think of during this video is how insane Koenigsegg is, they produced the same amount of power with a car with half the cylinders and half the turbos, not only that, but with the engine and transmission as a package, the jesko's motor and transmission is at least half the physical size. The Jesko, which is a luxury car with all the creature comforts, is still 30kg LIGHTER than the Bolide even though it's a full on racecar that was designed to be light! I'd love to see this on a track vs a Jesko Attack. Edit: Yes I know the Bolide produces 1800+hp w/ race gas, but that's race gas. The Jesko can do 1600 on pump gas. Well i consider E85 pump gas at least. I guess my thought process is somewhat flawed, the Jesko is still impressive nonetheless.

but also he is bracing his upper body against the steering wheel and knows when the braking is happening

Only thing I can think of during this video is how insane Koenigsegg is, they produced the same amount of power with a car with half the cylinders and half the turbos, not only that, but with the engine and transmission as a package, the jesko's motor and transmission is at least half the physical size. The Jesko, which is a luxury car with all the creature comforts, is still 30kg LIGHTER than the Bolide even though it's a full on racecar that was designed to be light! I'd love to see this on a track vs a Jesko Attack. Edit: Yes I know the Bolide produces 1800+hp w/ race gas, but that's race gas. The Jesko can do 1600 on pump gas. Well i consider E85 pump gas at least. I guess my thought process is somewhat flawed, the Jesko is still impressive nonetheless.
