- This is a follow-up to my original complaint video of the LIFEPROOF case for the DROID Turbo. This is to try and demonstrate the sound quality and volume loss when the case is put onto the phone.
The difference is more evident in person than it is on camera, but this should still show my point.

Life proof is meant to be an outdoor case that can take on almost every day norm environmental challenge, not something you sit around inside all day listening to music with, but I see what you mean. I was going to get this because I work outside a lot, but if I can hear my ringer its a no go. Thanks for the post!

this was a good video, I got my lifeproof pretty much just for when I'm around water because have the commuter as well, but I can't stand the screen protector on the lifeproof, it's all rainbowey and slick. if I take it off will it still be waterproof?
good review, helped me out..that is a bad design flaw, wonder how that even happened??? i was thinking of gettin this case, i guess ill just have to get some bluetooth headphones to hear my phone calls and music with it...??? lifeproof cmon and get it together...
What case are you going to use instead?
Ended up with an Otter Box Commuter. Not as protective, but better than nothing, and its still pretty thin

I don't know. its just what they had at Verizon. Didn't see the brand. I will say that my wife got one a while back and it was much thicker than this one. I liked hers better.
I know the sound sucks but beats having an expensive phone ruined because I went outdoors and did outdoor activities. I have Bluetooth for my calls and speaker for my music. It's sound sucks because it's completely sealed waterproof tight. Husband had otter and just replaced phone due to heavy dirt it was bad.
My biggest gripe is the fact they at least put mesh for the speaker on the Galaxy and IPhone case, but not on the droid case. It seems they screwed it up.

all i have to say is you bought the phone to be a phone if you want a speaker buy a speaker...
life-proof protects your from all of life's harm to you and your phone. in your case protecting you from hearing loss...
You can't even use it as a phone... You cannot hear people well, and they can't hear you because it echo's on their end. Its useless And you are not going to get hearing loss from a phone speaker. lol
make a video about it echo'ing on their end.
