Once, I went to a job/audition after eating a plant based meal. I did not get the job. The feedback I got was that I need to "practice personal hygiene" if I'm going to work with the public. I was so taken aback because I have always been complemented on the fragrance I wear. On this day, I had eaten a high fiber meal and had terrible gas from it. I tried my best to not be close to anyone at certain moments. I admit it wasn't great. I was terribly uncomfortable the whole time. I will never not get a job because of eating carnivore. A vegetarian meal literally caused me to not get a job.

My endocrinologist told me to work out harder to lose the weight even though I have always done some form of exercise most of my life. I’m 66 yo. Never mentioned diet. That was when I discovered the PHD community and have lost 40 lbs. Kudos to you both.

My endo told me to eat what I like and dose the insulin to match carbs AND to eat carbs each meal and have snacks. Needless to say, I don't follow his advice. My A1C has dropped from 19.5 to 7.3....I have been watching Dr Berry & Dr Chaffee and all of their guests. I totally agree with the whole stress/ trauma thing...

The fact that Dr. Tony actually reached out to the local grocery store and asked them to carry the meats that he was recommending to his patients, really shows how much he cares. That is going above and beyond. I wish I had a doctor in my area that was more focused on the cause of the problems instead of just the pills to subscribe. I'm so glad I found this info and this community. My husband and I will start the carnivore diet soon. He is 62 and I am 56, both with a laundry list of health problems. Today in the butter department at grocery store a very lovely white haired lady was trying to decide on a healthier butter and I waited for her! She picked up a new expensive plant based spread and she said. I hope this is a good choice and smiled at me and I said animal butter is a better choice, but only if you cut down on bad sugars and carbs! She agreed. She mentioned she was a nurse and the doctors in her unit wanted to try out the low carb diet and were amazed at their results! Everyone of them had better cholesterol and triglyceride numbers! And Also that she wanted to get off a statin and something else I can’t remember and she wanted to know more I said, Dr Berry is helping me get through this new healthy way of dieting and that you had several books and many videos! Third week carnivore and had been on keto and intermittent fasting! Not so good this third wk but I am trying to power through this!

The canned Loma Linda “meats “ are terrible nutritionally. They tend to eat tons of sweets ! I’m feeling g so much better on Ketogenic almost Carnivore diet!
I’m in Idaho and it’s very hard to find a doctor that’s trained for metabolic issues unless you can afford alternative health care that not covered by insurance or Medicare. I’m 73 pay over $300 a month for medical insurance . Not $ for medical care outside of insurance. It’s been a blessing to access this information on social media. We still have to pay full price for dental care, eye care and hearing aides. We make our health a priority and try to buy proper food that are carnivore based. Our goal is to loose weight belly fat, reduce inflammation and my husband’s bloating and GERD. I’ve been on Carnivore 10 days and feeling good!

I’ve been keto for 6, almost 7 years. I lost 110lbs. Over the years, I ate packaged “keto” food and made regular “bad” foods from vegetables and almond flour….etc.
The pounds crept back slowly. I still felt bad and didn’t have energy. I never understood people who gained energy on keto.
I started carnivore over the summer. I felt great!! I never craved and I was never hungry. I ate “regular” food over the holidays with the kids. I have never felt worse. I’m likely carnivore for life. 🙌🏻

So anyway I'm thankful for both of you, hopefully we can all save the world together! I thought I had tried everything but I just kept getting sicker (fibromyalgia, myalgic encephalomyelitis , chronic pain disorder, arthritis, anxiety, depression, cramping disorder, enlarged prostate at age 47 🤷🏻‍♂️, interstitial cystitis, and some more). Also check the ingredients of your burgers, you could make your own with ground beef thats what I do. Unfortunately too many burgers and sausages here in Australia have too many additives and preservatives which include rice flour, sugar and other filling agents. I try and stick to as close to whole foods as possible, the ingredients should state, 100% beef or whatever meat it is 😊 good luck hope this helps 💕

Thank you for all your help. I'm a 3x cancer survivor living with metastisised colon cancer. Chemo and radiation do not work for this cancer. I've survived 6 years but my quality of life was pretty low. My weight skyrocketed and I was depressed. I started carnivore to kill cancer June 1st, 2023. I've lost 40lbs and feel like I'm 40 again. It hasn't reflected in my cancers shrinking yet but I am hopeful. Thanks again.

@@Mrs.TJTaylor sure, I've been an anorexic bulimic for over 20 years. Than I started to put weight on in the last two years and did not understand what was going on. One day in July or 2023 I had a pain under my rib. I wasn't gonna go to the doctor but the pain got so bad I said let me just see what's going on. Well they did a CT scan and they found a 16x12cm tumor on my ovary. I almost pasted out from when I saw how big that thing was and never even felt it. But looking back there was symptoms that I experienced. So I got my surgery August 7th 2023 from a c-section. Never got an operation before and I was scared to death. I also prayed that it wasn't cancer and thank God it wasn't. I was already dying slowly from starving myself. I'm five foot ten I was 120 pounds frail weak you name it. But after that tumor something opened my eyes. I realized I didn't want to die. So I did a deep dive about nutrition. Now mind you before this surgery I was always depressed in pain night sweats again you name it I had it. Panic attacks and all. I said I have a daughter and grandkids I want to see them get older and live as long as I can. And as I was doing my research I was lead here. At first I was like this is bullshit eff this but you know what let me try it. I didn't go on this to lose weight I just didn't want to have anymore pains. I said okay well nothing is more dangerous than me starving to death let me try this. Well let me tell you. I started Oct 2nd 2023. I've noticed on the 2nd day nomore bleeding hemorrhoids. I said wow interesting. And as each day pasted it just got better. I'm on no more medication no zannys nothing. Haven't touched a pill for three months. Nomore pains nomore allergies nomore depression. When I wake up i just get up and go. As for my eating disorder its not there anymore. I don't even think about starving myself or throwing up after I eat. My face glows and I lost a bit over 25 pounds so far. Again mind you I didn't do this for the weight loss cause I dont care about it anymore I just wanted to feel good. So before I knew why I was putting on weight without eating I went from 123 to 175. Now I'm 150. This really works. I can not believe how calm my brain is. Ever since I was little my brain wouldn't stop it never shut off. Now its at peace. I believe the creator made me go through what I had to go through to wake my ass up. Cause I was dying but the question was just when. I've literally would starve myself for five months than bing one day throw up and starve all over again. I've never knew how sick I was till I started feeling better. It rely is an amazing feeling to feel good.

I am a 16 year old boy, I was, at my fittest, 155 lbs lean and muscular during wrestling season last year, gained some weight after to 170 which is kinda normal after season so I’m still healthy at 170, but I broke both my arms in a lifting accident, and gained 35 lbs because I couldn’t do anything and was steal eating the American diet ish, then once I was healed I was 205 lbs and feeling sluggish and terrible, lasted for a while and tried to fix it but cutting calories did nothing and was just discouraging, then, after visiting a friend, he told me about carnivore from Joe Rogan and asked me to look into it cause he saw I got fat. I did, tbh I was really skeptical, but tried it, I’m not gonna lie, the first two weeks were really hard and discouraging, diarrhea, headaches, cravings, hunger, but… getting past it was amazing, my skin is cleared up, sleep is nicer, I no longer crave sugar, only meat, I’ve lost almost 18 damn lbs in 4 1/2 weeks after starting, and have clarity of mind. I feel healthier then ever, my plan is to eat like this preferably for ever, and this is, tbh, how all humans should try to eat, I have strayed from it every once in a while but always get on track and it isn’t too damaging, but overall, it is amazing.

I was just in the hospital for mental health 10 days. I have been keto since 8/23 went 313 to 278, cured fatty liver, AST and ALT values 15/18 and A1c 5.4 from 6.7.
Food was 6 times a day. 3 of those were the “Sugar Cart” which was filled Oreos, Rice Crispy treats, cereal bars, pudding, ice cream, crackers, chips, and jello. Occasionally, apples or bananas or grapes.Twice in 10 days they had cheese.
The meals consisted of high carbohydrate meals over 80 units. Breakfast’s consisted of oatmeal, juice, nonfat milk, and fruit. I asked for bacon but received Jello instead for heart health. Lunch and dinner had same issues high carb, low protein and low fat. I refused to eat carbohydrates and they sent a dietitian to speak with me.
Dr Berry, thank you for educating me and keeping me strong enough to refuse to eat systemic poison.

I hate to ask you to do more and you may already do this but if enough of informed Dr’s were to start reaching out to uninformed Dr’s to help inform them you could truly make a difference, as you know how to explain the science to them.

Thank you both for this amazing information 🎉 I'm currently transitioning into nutrition health area, and my focus will be Keto/low carb/ carnivore as a holistic and therapeutic approach to overall health. I've been following Dr Berry for 6 years and love the work you do 👏🥳🥳

I started carnivore Dec 9, 2023 and was feeling great! I was having issues and my doctor thought it was diverticulitis. However, I had a colonoscopy Feb 22, 2024 and I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. I am eating carnivore still because it makes me feel good, but I am not sure about the future. I had my MRI Feb 26, 2022.

Over the past 10 months, I’ve lost 35 lbs by adopting a keto/carnivore diet, cutting out sugar and reducing carbs. I began with a 12-hour intermittent fasting routine for 3 months, followed by 4 months of OMAD (One Meal a Day), and I’ve maintained this approach. Additionally, I engage in a 15-minute intensive exercise routine. My cardiologist will not believe in carnivore diet …. :(

I fired my doctor after he insisted that I take a statin and eat veggies, EVEN THO I had just lost 80 lbs on Ketovore on my own. He even introduced himself to me when he entered the exam room because he didn't recognize me. I'd gone from obese to normal, and looked 10 years younger. Still, he would not validate my success and return to health.
      Bye bye, Doc.

Please just make sure you don't under-eat, when you do eat. Make sure you get enough fat.
