She was crying & begging for me to take her back.. I said No Fucking way.. She came back not because she loves me.. In 2017 I dumped my first love for another. That didn’t work out for me. And so I made sure to learn and grow from those mistakes of mine. In Oct 2019 I got into a relationship after finally becoming better for my sake, then that new guy dumped me in September 2020. Worst pain ever. And on top of that, I been thinking about my first love, wanting to apologize and to thank him for everything. But I can’t, he’s moved on, with another, he’s happy. But yes, even 3 years after the break up- I thought about reaching out. Wow, karma is a unavoidable. Everything I did has come back to bite me in the ass. Everything my recent ex did and said when leaving me was exactly what I said to my first love when I dumped him. It felt like a slap in the face! Damn you karma.

Mine made the decision on his own. Everyone else thought we were pretty happy, including our friends, families, etc.
There were just some problems he thought would fix themselves on their own after which he'll regain the attraction but he didn't. He's been thinking about this decision for a while all on his own.
I see some people liking this comment. It's been a while since I've been broken up with and sometimes it still hurts. But I feel much better now that I've regained myself. 3 months since then, I feel much happier and better. I found someone who I'm thinking of starting a new relationship with. One where I'll be loved and cared about unlike the other by the end of it.
It is hard to accept betrayal but it's important to understand that life never stops going. There's lots of love in the world and everyone will find their own eventually.

You wondering about you ex?? Just stop. Its self torture. Ex means you exited the relationship. You can't heal stalking their social media and another areas of that persons life. I know this sounds corny but you have to keep busy. Work more hours, workout, visit friends and family. Keep each day filled. Don't talk about the person with anybody and I promise you, you will heal. It won't take long either.

I think most people that get dumped don't know what to do because we made them want to leave us and we don't know how to handle. Especially hearing well just don't do it with your next relationship. We don't care if we do in our next one because it won't be with the one we lost.

Pretty sure I'm at the phase with my ex where she's beginning to wonder if she's made the right decision. I've been No Contact for awhile now and she's just recently reached out again. After letting her know I don't want to be friends and that I still have feelings for her. Been working a whole lot on my physique and I think she's noticing. We were to mert up for some coffee this past weekend but we never met up. She's dating someone new and told me she'd feel "guilty" if she met with me. If you dumped a narcissist and have been abused, you feel anxiety and hopelessness. The worst is the cognitive dissonance in which you tell yourself you want them back, but know at the same time, they abused you and will do so again and remain no contact. It gets better over time, but it takes a lot of work and patience with yourself. And narcissists hate being dumped... they try to come back to regain control.

I follow magnet of success blog which I find really good. No nonsense articles. There’s one on stages a dumper goes through. Plenty of evidence and material on stages of loss for the dumpee but hardly any on the cycle of a dumper. Seems to be in reverse to the dumpee with feelings of true nostalgia, comparisons and curiosity occurring way down the road, and very dependant on what life throws at them down the road.
I’m not happy about the situation.... but it was only right 😔.

I think a video on how to handle living nearby an ex during the healing process would be beneficial.
I think it can be done. Never make plans to do something where you know that they will be there. You might see them accidentally somewhere and that's okay just get out of there as soon as possible.

I wish I could just figure out exactly what’s on my ex’s (dumpers) mind. It’s been two months and I don’t necessarily want her back unless she makes the LDR worth it again, but I guess I just want to know if I’ll be a good memory to her, that she cries about me as much as I did about her. I guess it’s a little screwed up to say, but I take a little joy in knowing she’ll never replace me completely. To think that I used to have a photo of her glued to an ace of hearts in my wallet, I guess I wasted that corny idea on her but I got plenty more.

I know this post was 10 months ago but I read it and it is seriously identical to mine. LDR. Were looking for a place and she was about to move here. Admit I was probably too needy but I treated her so well. It's been 7 weeks no contact for me. Initially begged and pleaded but 48 days no contact right now and nothing. Said she wanted space but then admitted to getting with a married guy. If my ex actually left me for his ex, or he'll end up with someone else, i hope he will be forever get the second best in his life. Because no one in my position would accept him with her right mind. Not to say that im the best girl he ever had (which he said it himself) but i actually accepted him for who he is together with his bad sides.. But I told her I was busy working and she was ok with that so now we are communicating even though she's far from me but I will be getting my own apartment soon so she will be able to live with me!

@@lalisasmr I went only 3 days of no contact and also I did the radio silence method as well! the stuff really works me and my ex dated for only a month but since it was a short term relationship I'd recommend going 3 or 10 days of no contact litterally . don't even attempt to text or call your ex and trust me they'll start to feel the effects. that's only if you 2 guys didn't break up in a bad term though....... it may work only in some cases but if y'all broke up in a minor situation it will definitely work!!!!! Me and my ex broke up because she moved 2 hours away and did say she only wants to be friends as of (now) but we're planning on getting back to together in the future once I get my own apartment. So as at this moment we are communicating through facebook and snap chat . I did also beg plead before we broke up and that cause her to back away so that's when I did the no contact and radio silence method and it works like magic* she text me by day 3 of no contact. Remember we didn't break up in a bad term. now If it was bad term she probably would of text me by day 21 or 30

I think being physically away from you is what motivated her to reach out. But either way, congratulations. Hope it all works out! People don't even have time to work on themselves and realise what they've done in three days.
My ex just dumped me 3 days ago for me being "emotional and not able to change". Mind you during our relationship my grandma and grandpa died unexpectely and my dad was in hospital for 3 weeks. my ex and I were together for 6 years and she wanted to break up because of all the arguments that were going on. She said she needed to love herself before she can love someone else. After our break up I find out she’s talking to another guy, a guy who in fact I had my suspicions of and she told me not to worry about while we were together. I grieved for a month didn’t go out just went to work and focused on my classes and about a week ago I went out with some coworkers had a good time and early in the morning the next day my ex went around asking if I was with someone new, expressing her anger with me in “putting myself out there”. The next day she went on social media blocked me (even though I was no longer following her) along with people she didn’t want to know about her personal life and posted a photo of her and the guy she’s talking to all hugging up on each other with a ♥️ in the caption like she used to do with the photos she posted of us. This is just a month and a half after our break up. Also I’ve been in no contact with her I have not reached out to her. Has she made the decision that she’s better off without me and moved on like the video said or is she still confused and doing what she thinks is best for her right now? Thanks

my ex and i were together for 9 months. i loved her deeply. i told her that everyday. we were so close and intimate, we did things most couples do, and things many wouldn’t do. she was my darling, and i would take a bullet for her. i am young, immature, naive. i have a huge anger management issues. we started fighting after 6 months, the fights last short but it was perpetual. i tried to change, i ate anti-depressants, i control myself. sometimes i fall back to my old ways. she couldn’t take it anymore. she was hurting, and i was too. all i wanted was time, i needed time to quit smoking, quit drinking and quit my clubbing acts but i manage to do all that. i manage to control my anger, even for a bit, but i did it. i know i can change and i need some time. she left me, she left me broken hearted. she said the relationship took a huge toll on her, and she never want to go back to that place again. all i wanted to say was i’m sorry i brought you so much pain. i love you, and i just need time to improve. i am willing to do anything to get her back. but it seems like she doesn’t want me anymore. my heart shatters every night thinking of the good memories. thinking of her smiles and her beautiful voice, and how she used to sing love songs to me. now it’s over. i want her back not because i love her, but because i know i am capable of giving her security, love, and whatever she wants in a partner.

I wasn’t officially back with my ex. But he’d taken me out to a steak dinner for my birthday and I assumed we’d be each other’s valentine. I found out he was buying flowers for someone else. I called him and flat out told him that I am moving on, I won’t wait for him anymore and that he has nothing to offer me. That was almost a month ago. I realized he called me on Wednesday at midnight but I was asleep and so into my own life I didn’t notice until 2 days later. I’m actually surprised because he is egotistical and prideful. I realized he was drunk because of mutual friend snap chats. Crazy.
7months ago I went through a bad breakup, like the worst one till now. And I've realized that there's still a small part in me which still loves her and respects her. I'm happy on my own now, kinda loving this independent life. But sometimes it feels like there's still a connection or a chain attached to both of us. Am I thinking too much or is it okay to feel so? It's not like I can't live without her or so. But like idk how exactly to put my feelings in words

I broke up with my girlfriend and have had zero contact and just reached the 1 year anniversary of that seperation. In my case there is no going back because she was verbally abusive. You are spot on about all the things I would be wondering and asking. That one bad trait (uncontrolable temper) is enough to negate all the wonderful and positive things we had. I only wish WOMEN would do as I did and just LEAVE immediately at the first sign of an abusive partner.
Maybe she improved herself and now she's a better person than before :)
@@sacrealen A temper is something that is instilled in you. You can never get rid of it. With therapy you can hope to contain it but when you're in your late 40's who wants to commit to therapy.

The problem with my breakup is that I broke up with her due to fear of her leaving me during the week of our 10 year anniversary. We got back together after some drama and agreed to work it out but she then broke up with me after a weekend getaway with her friends that I couldn't go to due to work saying I "opened a can of worms" when I broke up with her and that she broke up with me because I broke up with her. She said that on the trip she realized that she is happier without me and accused me of not liking her friends or people in general and stated that she can't build her social circle with me in her life and that she has to do what is best for her. I have been in NC for 38 days and feel totally hopeless because I told her that I was going NC. HUGE MISTAKE! Never tell your ex your going NC! We were together for 10 years with one breakup at year 5 but got back together. She made me move out, signed the car we bought together over to me, and kept the dog. I love her so much and don't see how I turn this around. I am convinced she is happier without me. I am lost.
First off why did you have a fear that she was going to leave you? You essentially pulled a fake breakup that completely backfired. I don't think it's hopeless but you shot yourself in the foot.

I broke up with him for fear of abandonment and cause I was desperate. We were in a LDR and I felt like my values and his don't align. I don't want to live in the US, he prob doesn't want to come here and live with me. I regretted the decision immediately the day after and came back, but it was already too late. I made the mistake of not going into NC immediately and I hurt him even deeper trying to make conversations fun. I shouldve had more faith in relationships and my connection with him. Now I'm full of regret. I feel he's better off without me. He deserves someone better than me.
Ive only been dating my gf for 3 months. Within that time, I've been unfaithful. Girl #2 got upset because i was breaking things off with her and someway found my gf's contact info and told my gf everything. I know im scum and i was wrong but i really want a 2nd chance to prove to her i can make her happy and do better. She says she forgives me BUT she is gonna need time. I regret hurting her soooo much that ive went to counseling, church, and mentors to try to better myself to be a better person. All i can do is hope we can hit the restart button and start anew.
Count me as being "done" with any break-up...no second chances here...get your act together or get gone. I will deal with the pain and I will get busy living my life. A year after the breakup ask yourself this - "Would I trade my life today for the one I had before?" My answer has been a resounding ""No Way!!"...thank God I got dumped my a deranged person. They did me a favor...no bitterness here but great relief and thanks for the opportunity to have my life back.
I don't believe in someone leaving you for someone else.If that happens is because there was no true love to begin with, or there was love but he/she was not happy and saw no future in the relationship.
