have a look at media pool, clip attributes, clip orientation. select all clips and you can adjust them all in the media pool at the same time.
I normally don't ever comment under videos but this one has been so helpful and felt the need to. Great video man! keep it up.

Thank you !
upstairs for sure
Thanks!:):)
Still works
Awesome! :)
does higher Quality (BEST) perform worse on IG, or what is the reason to restrict it to a certain value (40 000 here)? thank you :)
I DON'T think the free version for Mac, at least, supports vertical UDH, only FHD vertical because trying to set it to vertical resolution in UHD just never works and it never saves in the project settings.
as your settings, when i open FUSION page, it's still 1920x1080 horizontal. how to change it to vertical? thanks
Thank you, but after uploading the video as per above settings... Instagram reduced the quality of it. Doesn't look like a HD video!! Any help!?
Yeah, instagram compresses video pretty badly :(
Thanks a great video
Doesn’t the zoom in affect the quality of the video ?
Good question, no it won't, since I shot the video vertical, all we are doing is rotating the canvas and then rotating the video. It would affect the quality if we shot it landscape and then cropped into the image so that it would fill the whole vertical canvas. Hope that makes sense :)
Been wondering about this too. After rotating the footage, you zoom in to fill the canvas (by approx 1.7-1.8%). So how doesn’t that degrade the quality?
@@michaelnilsson4764 wondering the same, feels like the quality isnt the same anymore.. im exhausted to film vertically because the rendered final version does not look that good as expected for me
Hi Michael, somehow I missed your comment, it doesent degrade the quality since all we are doing is rotating the 1920x1080 canvas to 1080x1920 and then rotating our footage to 1080x1920 and then just filling the frame with it. Hope that makes sense :)
Hi Philipp, just replied to Michael, but to continue the answer, if you are shooting in 4k and then down sampling to a vertical 1080x1920 then you are technically downsampling and losing 4k detail, but that would be the same as shooting in 4k and then bringing it into a 1920x1080 timeline, it just gives you more room to zoom in :)
How to get full screen output I was stucked on this issue .. without side frame i need the output
Hey, what do you mean? Are you working with 2 monitors, and are you hoping to have one of them full screen while you edit?
Flipping numbers didn't do anything to me
Thank you brother nice video but i have a problem while transferring video from laptop to my phone the video is too small and I'm not getting the exact full size video. can u pl help me with this problem.
Hey, what phone do you have? And how are you transferring the footage over?
@@AndrikLangfield Android bro and transferring by USB cable
@@gayathridevi9053 hmm you should be fine then without losing quality. Once you import it, you can then scale it to size as long as it's 1920x1080 or 1080x1920 you won't lose any resolution.
@@AndrikLangfield ok brother I'll try, thank you for ur response🙏
What’s the alt V on Mac?
I believe that's the Option Key :)
