(solved)what specs are you running ? i have a rtx 4090 with an i9 12900k with 120gb ram and the guys over at davinci are sayng my computer is too weak too pull this off? lol what are you runing 5 nvidia quadros???? or is the guy kidding me?, everytime i complete the rotoscope part and i try to connect one end to another end davinci gives me this error and it wont let me cut out my subject? what the heck is up with that???? what specs do you have ? i don't believe my rig cannot pull this off when it does crazier things. turns out i made way way way too many points and that made my gpu go into over drive lol i made about 1000 or more points i wanted to be "precise" don't make the same mistake as me guys lol

Fantastic like always !! merci for the work !!! bests regards / JF
265 are actually super hard to edit with because they are highly compressed. So your computer has to uncompress each file to use it in your timeline. I prefer ProRes, DNxHR or RAW files
Hi Marcel, thanks a lot for your videos. I love it that you don't need to put up a show, like others, to make your videos attractive. It is all about solid content and a cool personality!
Facebook is a bit different, most videos are posted in landscape but now they have stories and that are just the same at Instagram. I would use 1920 x 1080 for landscape and 1080 x 1920 for portrait stories
@@TheModernFilmmaker The presets were such a huge help, but when I rendered my clip, it isn't quite as in-focus and clear as my clip showed in davinci. i even tried to keep the Rendering Quality at "Best" to see if the clearness would come back but still looks out of focus a bit. Any tips for rendering our that project as sharp as it looked in davinci?
Pretty much exactly how i do it! Definitely gonna add that mask idea to my arsenal! Im curious about the bit rate thing though. Is 2500 for some reason better than like 10000 with something like this? I tend to just use the same render settings as I do for my music video renders and just keep it on auto or 30000 if my computer is having a hard time rendering something for whatever reason.
Instagram has a max bitrate of 3500kbps and u have noticed if I use a higher bitrate, in some occasions Instagram will kill the quality trying to make it 3500kbps. But if you are experiencing no loss of quality issues then I would just keep doing what your doing. Thanks for the comment!! 👊✌️
Hi, I can do this easily in premiere and I thought I would give Resovle a try. When I go to move the possition above or below my video there are black bars top and bottom. Would you have any idea what I might be missing (knowing me something really obvious lol).
I don't believe the face detecting can be used in that way in the color tab. Maybe in the Fusion tab but the kind of masking I show here is easiest on most computers.

Hey man what’s your take on editing 265? I have a pretty beast build but for some reason it’s still choppy when I scrub.. thoughts?

Was the new face detection not an option when masking?

people use magic mask and export the alpha. Not sure it's that big of deal if just a still you have mask.
