Many speaks of Phil Collins' drumming, but nobody give a real deserve to a great Tony Thompson on drums, who really gave rhytm and groove to the Zep's show on Live Aid.
And this was played at a friend's funeral in '78. He was 20. We graduated togeather. He was a rebel. Someone l wanted to be like. But he's now no longer with us. I'm still here but miss him dearly. If he crosses my mind l can't help but smile. I'm sure he sees me.

My boys, 26 and 32 love this music. My husband and I would play it all the time. They like their music but music from the 70's holds a very special place in their hearts. Their Dad died 7 years ago and through this music he's still here. He took them to the Stones, BB king, Steve Miller, to name a few.

I'm 70 years old and have seen them in concert four times. The best concerts I've ever attended. Besides Metallica. My daughter took me to Ozzfest in 2008 for father's day. Now that was a concert. Metallica closed the show. Best father's day ever. 🤓

This was played at my dear friend, David Stanley’s funeral in July 1974, I love Stairway so much, but it’s 4ever cemented in my brain with David. His band played at my 16th Birthday party, 3 bands played. I took David Stanley to my friend, David Kane’s house, because Stanley was in awe of David’s guitar 🎸 playing & David Kane taught David Stanley some tricks to playing Stairway, that is a happy memory, but his suicide wreaked me. I was with David the night before, and we were supposed to meet up the next night for Fireworks, but he stood me up, I didn’t know he was so depressed, he shot himself behind the pool in the park across the street from my moms childhood home & mine too, I learned to swim in that pool at 4. I hope he climbed The Stairway To Heaven, he was a kind beautiful soul.❤❤❤❤❤❤

37 years have past. To me it's like yesterday but it was 1968 when I first listened to this great band. The mid 70's were filled with concerts and moving on in life. Love this performance, live, real and blazing!!!
