I am Russian, was born in the Soviet Union and I'm 53 years. The first time I heard Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple in 1974, and I was just shocked that you can play like that. At that time their music was officially banned, but we found these amazing songs where anyone could and repeatedly copied from each other on an old reel tape recorders. A lot has changed in our country, there are many good Russian rock groups, but a fantastic Staiway to Heaven still shakes me to the depths of the soul.

Same. I've been listening to Zep since December 2023 (what a shame) and have fallen for them, especially for Jimmy. I love their music and Jimmy's spectacular guitar playing. Their creativity is just stunning. I wish, I had seen them live.
The classic song of all genres. Starts off as a gentle ballad, and ends in a crescendo of rock and roll! Such an amazing bunch of talented musicians, all four. I was 9 when I first heard this song in 1969, the first album I bought was Led Zeppelin 4. Bought my kids up on Led Zep and the Beatles!

Just unbelievably good. Can`t stop loving this classic Zeppelin anthem. I am 68 and it makes me feel 15 again, which is how old I was, when I fell in love with it. Thank you Led Zeppelin.

Except it's radically downtuned and Plant has no range left on his voice. Hence the verse, "there walks a lady we all know." Here his voice is just gone when he tries to hit any higher notes. It's good they didn't tour. Plant's voice (which has since acknowledged) is so blown, anything from the Zep era, especially early, that range is gone. Plus, Jason just isn't the same caliber drummer as his dad. The taste just isn't there.

My favorite song from Led Zeppelin!!! To tune it down a whole step for Robert Plant’s voice for that show was a smart move and it made the song even better than the original recording!!! It adds more emotion to it that you feel it!!

Wow so great! such power from his voice, what a special time my friends and I had riding home in Sharons VW, just amazed about this concert!! It was a ride! I was there in Amsterdam at the Old RAI building in 1972 - great performance and absolute great audience - never forget this concert in my life - I was 19 Years Old.
There is something magical about this song... one can go on from here, maybe feel have gotten deeper or lighter or finer or smoother... You could listening to all the blues greats, or more sophisticated listening to the classical high brow-- Wagner, Bach,..., or what life really is-- Jazz: Miles, Bird, Monk... ... and you might have also heard this radio staple a million times, but the Stairway always feels fresh and new like a rebirth and fills one with an ethereal energy!

I love the harmony of Page's guitar with Plant's vocals. LZ gave the world music that hasn't aged and sounds as phenomenal as when they made it. I love Jimmy Page's riffs.

Music of past generations never seems to amazes me more, listening to 1970's music Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, The Who, Supertramp and a whole lot more. I'm 55. It's an amazing feeling to watch Led Zeppelin videos especially classic Stair way to heaven. Not only having 70 yo men and women remembering old Led Zeppelin. Now today generation 20 to 30yo listening to and loving some of the best music from the 70's that will never be duplicated. The 70's will always have the best music, hands down. My favorite song from Led Zeppelin!!! To tune it down a whole step for Robert Plant’s voice for that show was a smart move and it made the song even better than the original recording!!! It adds more emotion to it that you feel it!!

In 1971-72 I heard Led Zeppelin in concert at the Long Beach, CA Arena. Wow so great! such power from his voice, what a special time my friends and I had riding home in Sharons VW, just amazed about this concert!! It was a ride! Still love to here them....oh yea by the way, I am old girl now, was 24 at the time..
