So that you can quit the moment you hit 300, right? I mean, if that's the only thing keeping you going then you've already beat the game by your own standards. Not you personally.
Ive been grinding pit 130s, I gave up on the 300 grind long ago. After seeing your graph showing that 243 is 10% of the way? I think I am done with the season.
And that's exactly why I stuck to Eternal this season (let's all just agree, this season theme was mid at best) and I'm at like 260, but at least I know that's across all my Eternal character classes forever 😊
You guys are so annoying. You don’t need max level. No other ARPGs but the horrible Diablo 3 make you feel like you need max level. If blizzard makes level 300 easy I’m done with Diablo 4
Max lvl is irrelevant. Those last 80~ paragon points are more convent and add's small additional dmg in the form of additive dmg. You aren't going to get more multipliers and you aren't getting that massive of an increase. At t4 p200 i was essentially killing durial and andy t4 easily. Granted, im playing spiritborn like 90% of everyone else cuz new class, but it is a stronger class.
On the whispers, turn them to a new currency, which you can only trade with the tree, and have different levels of caches to trade, as well as adding stuff like tribute caches, rune caches, and so on
I really like paragon to chase and differentiate players (esp. when paragon levels are shared between characters). I play tons of games where I don't feel like a failure if I don't max. I prefer to always have another level to work towards
Yep, I remember last season farming bosses purely to cap out my codex because of all the legendaries that dropped. Was super annoyed when I killed Duriel and he dropped a handful of Uniques....and that was it.
Add whisper stacks so that you can turn in for multiple caches at your convenience, and make it so that you can reroll cache options with gem fragments.
I did paragon level 300 by running pit 80 in 60-90s time on spiritborn evade build, listening to podcasts or twitch streamers playing Diablo 4. It was a decent experience since evade build is the most relaxing one of all to play. It took me 264h to reach it, but I was sightseeing the expansion until I was paragon 250 and decided to speed up my farm.
To me, the answer to the codex issue is making it easier to target aspects so that when you DO finally get a maxed aspect, it’s much more likely to be one that you’re hunting for
Ancestrals should always roll with aspect ranges from 16-21. You make the drop chances weighted, so rank 21 aspects are still peak chase but not damn near unobtainable. Also, extracting an aspect into the codex as an alternative to having to salvage the item would be great for situations where you want to keep the item but it rolled rank 21 on its aspect that's not for your build at all.
I think the whispers should just stack and then I can turn them in when I want! The Realm Walker is annoying as hell! Its too slow to kill it. The faster we kill his minions the faster we should be able to complete it.
Yes I was thinking this exact comparison to d2! Reaching level 94 was an achievement for me. Just let us get 90-95% of things, and have that last 5-10% be a chase. Same goes with getting max aspects on every gear.
Its much closer to D2 now actually with the paragon giving you very little power towards the end (just gotta hope they don't add infinite paragon eventually) At the launch of D4 they said they wanted it to be like D2 by having 100 levels and take a long time to reach. However they really missed the mark on that one, because going from lvl 90-100 could more then double your health etc, it it had a lot of power baked in the last levels. But now you can get paragon 250 or slightly less and not miss much, its like getting 92ish in D2.
Having a "max" level in the game gives a feeling of need to complete psychological tick. This was the reason the paragon system in D3 was so good, you max the "useful" stats, everything else was gravy then. Also, if you scroll down on the item it will TELL you if you get an aspect upgrade in text in addition to having the icon at the vendor/blacksmith.
In D3 I never felt the urge to push Paragon levels sicne they were "infinite".. but in other games where there is a level cap I often like to reach it. Though in D2 I never got 99. 96 was my highest. I guess I never bothered to do max level since I generally found some new gear for a new character to try out
As far as The Whispers, you can set it as a favorite location to automatically fast travel there. It really does help with the time not having to open your map.
I'm just a casual player and i hit 242 and it seems like a brick wall now. I'm done for season it's not a casual player season. This season is for the pro's/streamers who play 24/7 not the many like me who play a few hours a day.
Everything above 200 is entirely optional... Why are there always people complaining? The not casuals complained about a finished character after only 1-2 weeks into the season and the casual players now complain about paragon 300 taking to long... ofc it takes extremly long, but it's OPTIONAL. You got 3 months each season and we are only 3 weeks into it... Plenty of time for any casual to get to 300 if they really want to. On average you need about 100-150h which is 1.6h a day at max.
To me the solution to the Codex problem is to make the normal max the non-Ancestal cap as is and then make a GA version of aspects you can get on items that give you the GA item for the codex. Can still be rare but now you NOTICE when the codex update it is a fun drop and changes the perspective of the codex without removing that it is an actual fun factor to max out your codex now.
I feel like the Paragon system as it is currently designed is perfectly fine since all characters on a given realm share those Paragon points. Keep in mind that with the current design, it's sorta "future-proofed". For example, the most obvious change they could make is to adjust the XP required to get to max. Or, if we get further expansions to the game (and I'm expecting at least one more, possibly two depending on the game's longevity) they could add more Paragon points, or allow us to use more boards, or both. Edit: also on the topic of 4 GA Unique items that have a low aspect roll, I don't think that it should be a guaranteed max roll if it's 4 GA, but I do think there should be either a way to upgrade a bad roll (a Resplendent Spark and/or a decent cost of other mats/gold) or else a higher than normal minimum roll. Or perhaps a mix of both. Like, if it's at least 3 GA, it has a higher "floor" roll than normal, and if it's 4 GA, you can also upgrade the aspect roll. I'm not a game dev, it's easy for me to spit out ideas that sound okay in theory... But some sort of system that doesn't just guarantee a max roll for those 3 or 4 GA Unique items, but instead offers an item chase for even the blasters, and is less punishing to the casual players who get lucky enough to see a 3 or 4 GA Unique. And I say all this as a casual who hasn't seen any 3-4 GA Uniques this season, but did see two last season... That both went straight to salvage for being terrible.
So people agree it feels bad when a 4GA unique has a crap aspect roll, but don’t want it to be auto perfect? Okay. Put unique aspects in the codex and make it so they can only replace the aspect on the same unique so if you get a perfect that’s trash you can junk it for the aspect and then imprint it on the 4GA one (you will probably never find lol). Easy solution.
realm walker should have a 1:30 minute of hunting him and have him spawn once every 10-20 minutes in this way people will look for him whenever they want opals...... maybe cut down the xp so people won't cheese it since I think this is the main reason of him being designed as it is
Yeah bro, I got to 200 and beat the raid on T4. Wasn't sure what else to do. Have a lot of other games to play, books to read, movies to watch, etc. For people who main diablo, it is likely a good thing. I had fun, just not enough fun to push out over a hundred more hours haha P.S They will have to have an absolutely baller next season to compete with some of these other incoming games, even within their own genre. Based on their history of not quite understanding fun, I have a feeling this could be my last season for a good while.
I got every class to optimal gear with a min of 2 ga on everything + a whole lot of additional grinding with pots up and still only made it to 266 paragon, ended up giving up on hitting 300 this season.
I'm at 160 and completely demotivated, I don't even have most of the aspects at 16 let alone 21 or items I need, I'm doing barely any damage and I'm struggling with pit 40 solo. I'm a sorcerer getting kicked from groups constantly, I'm really hating the experience. While doing the campaign I died 15 times in one day, all from one shots. This went away when I got the constellation aspect which is broken and kills everything, hitting for 1 million when my skills were still only hitting for 20k. I really hope this makes some sort of balance pass.
@@vorik_g that is not the solution that is never the solution, spiritborn is so broken in the opposite direction it's not fun it's brainless you go from doing millions to trillions of damage, no content in the game matters without work, clearing screens of enemies faster than other classes skills activate. Druid and barbarian are in an even worse spot. The problem is compounded by the aspects and items being so hard to obtain.
@@hughwood5881 not wanting to play a class cause its broken sounds a little weird to me... it obviously makes the most fun out of all classes currently, but will be nerfed and fixed next season. Surely other classes are to weak right now and have to be buffed but thats still no reason to not play the spiritborn, just because it's to strong. Beating pit tier 150 is still a lot of work, even on spiritborn.
@@hughwood5881 I agree that the balancing is really bad currently but as long as they wont buff or nerf anything during a season (because 70% of the playerbase voted against that) nothing will drastically change. Means you shouldnt complain about something that you cant change... just make the best of it and play the classes that are strong in that specific season. (necro and sorc can clear pit tier 100 this season as well, only with the right build though)
I'm a Sorc at Heart as well. Give another try at it if you feel it for Chain Lightning. It's working. Wudijo IIRC made a good one, else RageGamingVideos.
I agree with your assessment of balance; it took me about 50 hours as a semi-casual player to complete the season journey and hit Paragon 200. That's a nice milestone for anyone and 50 hours of content a season is very good. As you rightly say, there is still a whole lot further you can take your build if you want to really commit and make it a forever game. Very impressed with what the team has achieved.
I’m just under level 200. I did notice the higher I leveled the longer it took. Which is to be expected but I felt like I wasn’t leveling up at all. I don’t really see myself needing to be level 300 nothing survives at my current level. lol
For those who like Paladin offensive Auras (like me, hope they'll do it for the next Character here "Crusader" lol) Don The clown made a Spiritborn (not sure if he's the first still) With a Scourge Aura and enemies just EXPLODE!! Yay!! Feels like Righteous Fire (Watch your HP drain) or the lvl 62 Death Aura Chest piece in PoE.. I'm having fun again!
Wait you are telling me I am not even 10% there with Paragon 230? I thought I would have atleast 35-40% of the total xp needed to reach paragon 300. That is actually insane. Before I watched this video I had planned to reach paragon 300 but after I saw how much progress I actually have I am inclined to just not bother about it at all.
I have come across a major bug, and cant find anyone talking about it, so now im here mentioning it In the necromancers paragon tree, you can get summon damage increase and summon damage reduction. These can further be ampmified by the deadraiser glyph. But these stats doesnt show up in the stats tap, the deadraiser glyph also have some wierd interaction with the nodes it buffs. Normally a glyph shows the stats it has amplified and how much you are getting put of it. But the deadraiser doesnt seem to have the intended effect, and only shows a 10 increase to the nodes it affects. Which is less than the 110% increase it should give. As mentioned before, you have no way of knowing whether you are affected by these nodes or not. The only way is to actively remove these nodes check damge, to then add them again to see if there were a change in damage (which i havent done, because that is more tideous than it should be) Last week i reported this as a bug, but i havent heard or seen anyone else talking about it, so i was wondering if im just missing something crucial
with gems i have said i would love the concept of smashing them together.. say grand skuill + grand diamond would give you say 6% resistance to all + 120 armor if used in jewellery instead of just being 1 bonus, you get 50% or maybe even 40% of each combined allow for lower levels but over 2 things
Same, I hope that when paragon goes to eternal it will stack between seasons there so I will have a trophy by just reaching 250 each season after few seasons.
5:45 Yeah there is a lot of chase in the game now, I'm still chasing my first SCROLL OF ESCAPE in hardcore so i can have a DC protection because D4 is memory leaking every 1 to 2 hours and crashing, lost 2 characters because people say they drop their first scroll after 200 + paragons...I can't even get there because I die to crashes before that.
The icon does exist and it is visible when you are trying to sell or at the blacksmith. It's kind of a star type of shape on the upper right, but NOT the GA star.
shared paragon is great for HC if I lose a character I still feel good making paragon levels(assuming I don't die while getting to 60 from all the DCs) :D the icon also shows up if you go to sell it to an npc(which no one but us solo self-found people would know)
I like that it takes so long to reach cap. It means that no matter what I'm doing, I'm progressing my character(s). In the past, once I capped out Paragon, I just stopped playing until the next season.
@@dnice374 I should take max 2-3 weeks so you can play an alt of different build. Its too hard for no reason. Also items brick still with only 1 reuse for tempers.
It's significant if you are filling in all the necessary nodes for level 100 glyphs. Im 254 and I'm 5 int nodes away from hitting All Resistence cap without wasting it on All Stat magic nodes. (You are potentially looking at +100% to 200% on your glyphs from minimum requirement.) I'm liking the new threshold. That and expansion offers 1 +1 skill and additional +4 paragon in the Map rewards.
10:04 when you junk an item with an upgraded codex upgrade, there is a popup on the left side of the screen that tells you there was an upgrade. If you want to prevent salvaging them in order to sell them to other players instead you need to go to the NPC and check your inventory first and then mark and vend/salvage. Kind of annoying really, they should apply the icon to the items in your inventory without being at the vendor first.
3:30 - this is how D2 worked decades ago and it was great! You get the relevant powers quickly and then grind out the last >5% power at your own pace. It's not about reaching the end, its about having an end to reach that doesnt feel mandatory - It was smart for D2 to have 99 as level cap and not 100 because psychologically 99 doesnt really have as desired a meaning as say 100 which usually represents completeness. 99 was optional and most ppl were happy getting to 90's or even 95
Some own experience from my side regarding what you said at 4:30. I am Paragon 291 now and between 250 and 300 I get additional 200STR to my Barb. Together with the %STR amulet, I will end up getting around 285 extra STR because of the extra 50 Paragon. So almost 30% more damage
I like that i havent reached max level. It leaves a feeling that there is still more to optain. And i still dont feel like the gap between levels is too much.
There is 2 icons, 1 is for a new transmog (red one) and the other is a new aspect (blue one). Shows up at a vendor or the blacksmith and I think it stands out quite a bit..
@@philosocrates It doesn’t really affect my experience if other people want to spend a ton of money on cosmetics and stuff. This mount is a good example. I don’t care if people buy it. Doesn’t impact me at all.
Learning about this was quite demotivating. Already finished the season stuff and got the title. I considered lvl 300 as the final goal to finish the season initially, thus I haven't really felt like playing anymore since learning about the insane exp curve. I have played quite a bit and am at 238ish right now, playing an SB and DoK rogue, but I CBA to speedrun pits for that long as it's just mind-numbing to be honest. An average playstyle (not limited to tons and tons of braindead pit runs) should at least be able to come close to the cap. I also find it is quite hard or near impossible to find upgrades for my gear without actively trading gear and runes to make those required billions. I really don't care for this at all, and I stopped bothering with this as well. The aspect thing is just plain annoying as well. I did find a max moonrise and duelist, but by that time I got bored with my SB and switched to a rogue.
I quit at 248, 300 is absolutely pointless, it should had a badass armor set akin to some of the store ones, for the character and mounts, plus a bunch of other shit.
9:50: Nope the icon also appears at the trader and has done so, as far as i am aware, at least since last season. I am still suprised that you never seem to have noticed it 🙂 Quick question, why would you ever mark items for junk? Personally i collect stuff until my inventory is full, i dont open each time my inventory when i collect something to check it out. Then I TP back, go to a trader, take a quick look over the items that still interest me and watch out for items with Codexupgrades. The rest gets sold. Then i go to the blacksmith (if i have items left) and salvage. At the start i did it the other way around, but due to mastercrafting, gold is the most limiting factor by far at this point (well and mw materials).
It is better now, BUT glyphs should be shared across all characters. Having to find and level them again on an alt makes me not want to make an alt. I think Blizzard thinks it is a good idea to make us refarm shit, but it isn't. If I could just instantly level and go to town with an alt I would play a week or two longer. If I have to find glyphs and level them again.. I'm less inclined to do that. It's boring. Make it all like D3. Stop tyring to slow our progress. AND that goes with leveling from 250 to 300 paragon. It takes too much time. We don't want to spend that much time playing the game. It just isn't fun. And codex.. I'm 260 and many of my codex are like 60%. Dude.. wtf. Not fun.
That's cause they are tied to ancestrals. Higher % drops from them and there was a bug going around were if you salvaged a % that was higher from a regular legendary it would brick that aspect in the codex.
Glyphs are super easy on an alt. It's only the first character that it is a pain. For an alt you hit 60, apply all of the paragon levels from your main and run some NM dungeons. It took me about an hour to find the five glyphs my alt needed, then I switched to the Pit and took another half an hour or so to level them to 15. With the paragons from my main I could easily blast through the Pit in less than 4 minutes so got +4 levels for a glyph at 100% chance per run. If you want ancestral or mythic items or level your glyphs to 46 or more on an alt, then sure you will have to spend a bit of time.
Glyph leveling is backwards now. We should be leveling glyphs to get stronger, but now we have to get stronger to level glyphs. A non-spiritborn player struggling through a 80 to 85 pit can't max out their glphs.
All they need to do for aspects is basically add them to the pool for things to have "greater affix" then it could basically roll as GA aspect at 21. I feel like that's a fairly easy solution
My only issue with creating alts with the high paragon unlocked is the Glyphs are not shared on same class alts until we get the Armory. And SB is too strong to try the other classes. Made a an alt Rogue got it too 60 and the damage is a joke in comparison to my alt SB to really grind for the glyphs.
The codex is an issue. I would recommend Blizzard implement 50% or higher rolls with aspects on GA gear including uniques. Getting 3 GA item with lowest roll really sucks. Maybe uniques can have aspect inprinting too but with only specific unique affixes.
There is no point to reach 300. Playing the most OP class at paragon 175 i was able to clear all T4 content including Higher Pits. At paragon 245 without single glyph I was able to clear t90 and no upgrades.
10:15 a nice way to fix this is to give each GA level a +25% minimum roll on the legendary affix. So if a legendary affect goes from +100% to +200% of something, a 1GA rolls from 125 to 200, a 2 GA from 150 to 200, and 4GA always maxes out.
Not going lie, between ssason 4 to season 6, I feel like this season was slowed down a lot… unless I no-life the game and I can’t. I have a life and responsibilities outside of video games. And that suck I can’t game like I use too 10 plus years ago.
this is because every positive change was counterbalanced by some uncodumented bad change. boss materials are more plentiful now than ever. and yet despite getting 5x more boss mats this season than in prior seasons, the drops are horrendously nerfed compared to what they were, so you need to farm 10x more bosses. which means boss farming is 2x as bad as it was previously, even though the dopamine of getting boss mats temporarily makes you think you're winning. no, no you're not. you're losing. just one example of 5+ I could give.
What are you talking about. Season 5 was the easiest to get max level. Season 6 I think is the only season where it had gotten slower, but it is not by much, as the "goal" for max level is more or less paragon 200. The last 100 levels gives you almost no power, and is just there as a small carrot for the blasters out there. There is ZERO reason to go for paragon 300 other than the achievement of it.
you finished your char in season 4 and 5 in around 2 weeks and now it takes way longer because everyone complained. Now the grinding to 300 is entirely optional and people still complain. We are only 3 weeks into a 3 months season... be happy that there is a long term achievement now. If you dont like doing that, your char is 99% finished between paragon 200 and 250 which only takes around 50h. (0.5h per day in 3 months)
A big issue with the paragon grind is that in theory you can switch between characters as you like and keep progressing paragon since it's shared, but in practice you're only going to make any meaningful progression on your strongest and fastest clearing character(s). So this system both punishes any build that's not all about speedfarming the pit, and it also punishes you from having more than one character. In my opinion there should be some kind of "passive" paragon gain that's based on your highest cleared pit, so even if you're playing suboptimally you're pretty much guaranteed to hit 300 at some point, even if it will be much slower than the top tier blasters.
no, thousands of player got to 300 already, you need around 100-150h for it. You just need to exp farm efficiently. Around 70pits for the last level (1min runs, 1min downtime, only 140minutes for it)
@@L0ST31D0L0N you obviously need a speed build like evade, crushing hands, jaguar or rebound quill to speedfarm in one minute. You can't get that speed with quill mystic circles or any other pit pushing build. Even if you need 2min for the pit run and you still take a 1min downtime after each run, the last level only takes 210min/3.5h still. Leveling speed is just fine, i mean we are 3 weeks into a 3 month season. A lot of players already are 300 and most of the others are somewhere above 200 at least. Still something entirely optional... nobody needs paragon 300
@@vorik_g I'm running Crushing Hand. I just finished a pit 115 and it wasn't a one minute run... Not eveny 65 is a one minute run... That's what the hell I'm saying is what level is a one minute run? And I'm at p250...
It would be a good idea for ancestrals to only be able to roll level 17-21 of an aspect, since ancestrals are so much more rare than before. Also, I wish the realmwalkers would spawn more frequently in Nahantu, since that's the only place we can get the opals to get more socketables.
I’ve got to stay off the internet I just don’t agree with people these days. I almost never support any nerf unless it’s breaking the game or ruining my fun. I’ve been playing daily since launch and this whole time I’ve never played a build that was so strong it needed to be nerfed. I’ve certainly never effected anyone else’s game. I’ve been struggling to get mythics, fully masterwork gear, solo torment bosses and last season was stuck at horde level 6 both 7 and 8 were so far out of reach. Some of us need the overtuned spirit born just to feel strong and feel like we have a chance to get further into the end game.
Yeah, the gem fragments problem is weird. I went to see what I could use these fragments for, but it's just more gems, which I don't need. The cap doesn't even matter if we have no use for it. Leaving fragments on the ground feels bad, all because of a cap we cannot reasonably overcome. I am not going to spend gold to make gems I don't need, so I guess the screen will be cluttered with fragments...
Tempering is going to make stop playing this game indefinitely. And I don’t want to do that . Tempering rng sucks bad. Stop taking players choice away we should be able to choose a tempering. Give us more build options instead of locked in one way to build
@@Titus.The_Crucifier Items I broke were actually due to not getting that roll no matte the value. You are right, it's definetly not healty to take this games odds seriously when it can give you exact same thing 7 times in a row.

I really like the fact that aspects only go beyond 16 on ancestral items. This gives me something extra to chase in the end-game. But I would want that x/21 number to be on the item as well for that ermahgerd-moment when you get a 20 or 21 out of 21 item. And if above 16 the number should be another color.
It's like a double edge sword in a sense. You don't hit level 100 in a day and sit in boredom, but yet now it takes absolutely forever to max level. I myself, absolutely hate the pit, then being forced to run it over and over for efficient leveling is a huge turn off. I've already wrote off the season. On to BO6 and eventually POE2.
Im on a rogue barrage poison build. Andariels visage, the umbracrux etc, poison, crowd control and non-physical used in paragon build, and trap damage, cause it uses poisontrap with the umbracrux and then the death trap. I am STRUGGLING right now, even with lvl 70 pit. Talk about an underpowered class? Meanwhile spiritborn clears lvl 100+ pits by just standing there.
Played till level 100 max paragon season 5 ( where I felt powerful ) Made it to level 45 and have put it down. There isn't much to do, game feels like a chore considering how weak my character feels. Guess ill check out next season.
You don't really get much power from paragon levels after 200 anyway. It's basically a question of: are you playing spiritborn? Then you get to one shot everything on Torment 4 with an unoptimized build and nowhere near maxed out gear. You're playing another class, the peasants? You can eventually reach torment 4 after you have several mythic uniques, maxed out boards, and optimized gear. But you won't be one shotting anything.
I think it'd be nice if we could salvage duplicate uniques to upgrade said unique aspect. So that way 4 GAs don't get salvaged, and there's a greater purpose for these spare uniques. Also, low-key don't like that bosses "only" drop uniques. My crafting materials are never low
would love to see with the gem fragments that once you got max lvl gems you could get one last upgrade that cost a huuuge amount of fragments that makes that one gems stat spread to your other equipped items at 50% effect making it sort of legendary/magical powered

Pit 200 reward certainly have a visual that allows the whole Diablo world know you are the one when they see you in-game
Idea : each GA grants a guaranteed 20% minimal roll on the aspect or unique effect. A 1 GA would thus always roll [20-100%] ; a 4 GA would always roll [80-100%].

Year i have literally thousands of pretty much all crafting materials and save for the very beginning, i never had any shortages. The only shortages i ever had were angelbreath (because of potion upgrades) and forgotten souls (until my first tormented helltide run)
My theory is by next expansion the game will be fun to level and do codex in again and then they'll roll it back with each expansion launch to try and keep people engaged for launch. Slowly caving to people's desires to actually be able to hit max as the expansion life cycle progresses
And WHY is that a problem? You're not supposed to reach it easily, that's the whole point. This is a non-issue that only clueless casuals cry about. The power difference between 250 and 300 is basically non-existent.
Easy now! I am super casual…I think my character should START at 300, and every time I get whacked by a boss my level drops. When I get my brakes beaten off enough, I can start to raise my level again. By that time the season is over and D5 will be in development.
If the point of it is not impactful then it shouldn’t exist. Both paragon and glyph progress are poorly designed player experiences which turn off players simply because, as you said, there isn’t an in game, quantitative difference for them. Both should be attainable for a casual player. Both should be something a casual can do twice in a season so it offers them the opportunity, in season, to try out a different class. Paragon shouldn’t carry over to another seasonal character. It should just be part of your build growth. Nothing else in this game is this dumb and as a business decision, you should never create a system which makes people want to quit playing the game.
@@SadSackGamingagreed. In D3, your paragon is an indicator of your rising power or new levels attained. The paragon in D4 - with the boards and all that - are cool to look at, but a content creator would be of help showing a paragon plus character with no paragons spent, then juxtapose that same toon in the same dungeon or helltide with the paragons in play. It would allow a player - casuals in particular - to see the actual benefit of what those paragons can do. Or did I miss that video somewhere?
Hardest part of grinding to 300 is not getting bored and quitting along the way.

On the whispers, turn them to a new currency, which you can only trade with the tree, and have different levels of caches to trade, as well as adding stuff like tribute caches, rune caches, and so on

To me, the answer to the codex issue is making it easier to target aspects so that when you DO finally get a maxed aspect, it’s much more likely to be one that you’re hunting for
The ones you favourite should have a highlight when they drop. All drops should show the x/21 roll with the affix

The item aspect upgrade not only shows up at the blacksmith, it shows up at any vendor.
There's no problem with this. It's just some small nodes that barely influence you. It's like being 90 in D2, 99,9% would not reach lvl 99.
Finally a comment about the level curve with some sense.
This this this thiiiiiis!
Yes I was thinking this exact comparison to d2! Reaching level 94 was an achievement for me. Just let us get 90-95% of things, and have that last 5-10% be a chase. Same goes with getting max aspects on every gear.
I'm glad not EVERYONE in the community has 40 IQ. Faith in yall is restored
Its much closer to D2 now actually with the paragon giving you very little power towards the end (just gotta hope they don't add infinite paragon eventually)
At the launch of D4 they said they wanted it to be like D2 by having 100 levels and take a long time to reach.
On average you need about 100-150h which is 1.6h a day at max.
paragon 242 and you play a few hours a day, okay...

I like the idea of using a resplendent spark to upgrade a 4ga unique that has a garbage effect roll
A loot filter with a option to show max rolls would be nice
The trick from the shrine is that no matter what shrine you click, it will always apply conduit pylon
Agree. So frustrating to get a multi ga unique just to see it has the worst aspect
Yeah that's a decent trade off.
I mean it's not like we are asking for the whole Horadric Cube back... But it would break Spiritborn even more
"You will probably never find" found a 4 GA tibaults yesterday with a 10% implicit.
realm walker should have a 1:30 minute of hunting him and have him spawn once every 10-20 minutes in this way people will look for him whenever they want opals......
maybe cut down the xp so people won't cheese it since I think this is the main reason of him being designed as it is

@@vorik_g that is not the solution that is never the solution, spiritborn is so broken in the opposite direction it's not fun it's brainless you go from doing millions to trillions of damage, no content in the game matters without work, clearing screens of enemies faster than other classes skills activate. In the necromancers paragon tree, you can get summon damage increase and summon damage reduction. The only way is to actively remove these nodes check damge, to then add them again to see if there were a change in damage (which i havent done, because that is more tideous than it should be)
Last week i reported this as a bug, but i havent heard or seen anyone else talking about it, so i was wondering if im just missing something crucial

As Rax said, a Flying Fire-Breather Dragon mount as a reward.
It doesn't make them money then. That is all blizzard cares about at this point.
9:50: Nope the icon also appears at the trader and has done so, as far as i am aware, at least since last season. I am still suprised that you never seem to have noticed it 🙂
Quick question, why would you ever mark items for junk?

Diablo 5 will be free to play on mobile phones. You have a mobile phone, don’t you? 😂
@@GiggaVegaI don’t have a mobile phone, actually, I’m writing this comment on my Cray supercomputer
Trying to reach 300 made me realize how extremely boring this game is. Pits literally make me fall asleep now.
How many Meph or Baal runs u able to do?
Yes
The codex is an issue. I would recommend Blizzard implement 50% or higher rolls with aspects on GA gear including uniques. Getting 3 GA item with lowest roll really sucks. Maybe uniques can have aspect inprinting too but with only specific unique affixes.
There is no point to reach 300. Playing the most OP class at paragon 175 i was able to clear all T4 content including Higher Pits. At paragon 245 without single glyph I was able to clear t90 and no upgrades.
Only an Achievement plus a mount, for those that are into it. Seems you're not, which is fine as well.
10:15 a nice way to fix this is to give each GA level a +25% minimum roll on the legendary affix. So if a legendary affect goes from +100% to +200% of something, a 1GA rolls from 125 to 200, a 2 GA from 150 to 200, and 4GA always maxes out.
Even better would be to make it: 3GA 75%+, and 4GA 90%+. Simple so simple.
Was Rob using XP exploits to hit 300? They just patched some didn't they? And unfortunately, they tied platinum trophy to paragon 300 on consoles.
no, thousands of player got to 300 already, you need around 100-150h for it. You just need to exp farm efficiently. Around 70pits for the last level (1min runs, 1min downtime, only 140minutes for it)
@@vorik_gat exactly what level are you running pits in one minute?!?
@@L0ST31D0L0N you obviously dont speed farm your paragon levels on 115, 100-105 is where you will get the most exp per minute
It would be a good idea for ancestrals to only be able to roll level 17-21 of an aspect, since ancestrals are so much more rare than before.
Also, I wish the realmwalkers would spawn more frequently in Nahantu, since that's the only place we can get the opals to get more socketables.
Dude don’t know about them RuneScape levels😂
Yeah I hit 252 between a Barb and Spiritborn, and I'm done, not going to bother trying to get to 300, maybe next Season or maybe not, who knows.
Always Nerf Barbarians, they are just butt sniffers!
@@Titus.The_Crucifieronly downside is, it only allows to reset once

@@Titus.The_Crucifier Items I broke were actually due to not getting that roll no matte the value. You are right, it's definetly not healty to take this games odds seriously when it can give you exact same thing 7 times in a row.
@@Titus.The_Crucifier The tempering/enchanting/masterworking is still horrible even with the scrolls. I still consistently get the same useless roll 4 times in a row. That should NEVER happen. All the gambling aspects of this game are complete crap.
I love the idea of the shared paragon. This is similar to how it works in ESO.
What else are you going to do for 3 months? There’s nothing left to do but paragon

@@derbudz Yeah, so much so they cancelled Diablo 3 to force it into a game.
Played till level 100 max paragon season 5 ( where I felt powerful )
Made it to level 45 and have put it down.
My crafting materials are never low
lol I have a bunch of characters that are level 80-100 with a total of 221 paragon levels… but I have been playing since day 1 with 800 hrs in.
Thats insane...I hope you at least let some sunshine into your house
800 hours in but only 221 paragon? What have you been doing?
lol this is literally not possible there isn’t even 800 hours in a month and the season hasn’t been out for a month yet
would love to see with the gem fragments that once you got max lvl gems you could get one last upgrade that cost a huuuge amount of fragments that makes that one gems stat spread to your other equipped items at 50% effect making it sort of legendary/magical powered
this is a good thing, remember not being able to get to 99 in d2? makes it worth something
Diana has finished the season 100% everything, she is just getting a few codex dungeons finished, she has seen the piebald panther and is blasting to paragon 300.. Ive reminded her that when I pushed D2 from 98 to 99 it took me 2 weeks.. her reply "thats you, Im better than you".... Have a great week CJ!
Lol, showing 16/16 but you can actually get 21/16 is very stupid. It would be outright lying.

But modifying the UI to not show the extra levels seems like a very insulting to players' intelligence and wouldn't even solve the problem. Most people will know there's higher levels and would want them regardless if the UI is lying to them that aspect is maxed.
@@mst4705 you clearly haven't played any other class. And I have plenty of legendary that have max aspects but because they aren't ancest when you scrap it doesn't show 100%. It's just a dogwater way to get players retention for the data vacuum that is d4.
i got to paragon 258 and i gotta say from about level 240 onwards it felt like my xp came to a halt even with speed farming pit 101's, i just dont have it in me to grind the rest out it would be extremely boring and the season has nothing felt to offer to keep me coming back.

In regards to D4 soulspires. I would like to see a reward system for the pit pusher. I think that pit 140, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190, 200 should have an unattainable Uber that allows you to push to the next pits. Pit 200 reward certainly have a visual that allows the whole Diablo world know you are the one when they see you in-game
Still hate the paragon system.
Idea : each GA grants a guaranteed 20% minimal roll on the aspect or unique effect. A 1 GA would thus always roll [20-100%] ; a 4 GA would always roll [80-100%].
300 isnt neded. Most of the power is reached at 220 lvls.
Tell bone spear that
I have not had this problem with rawhide and so on for mats , are people rerolling Everything or just selling all the gear they find instead of salvage their items but i have no problem in having enough mats
That's because there's been not one, but two hotfixes to increase their rates.
Year i have literally thousands of pretty much all crafting materials and save for the very beginning, i never had any shortages. The only shortages i ever had were angelbreath (because of potion upgrades) and forgotten souls (until my first tormented helltide run)

Hey, just come back when there's events. You'll have extra stuff to do.
I got bored of d4 after 40 hours. How in the world all you all still playing?
My theory is by next expansion the game will be fun to level and do codex in again and then they'll roll it back with each expansion launch to try and keep people engaged for launch. Slowly caving to people's desires to actually be able to hit max as the expansion life cycle progresses
And WHY is that a problem? You're not supposed to reach it easily, that's the whole point.
This is a non-issue that only clueless casuals cry about.
The power difference between 250 and 300 is basically non-existent.
totally agree. it does suck that theres not really any benefits of reaching 300. so grinding for it doesnt really feel rewarding
