if you bought the expansion, play spiritborn. it's predictably overpowered. but also expect it to be nerfed all the way to the bottom for the season after.

Played the preseason and the first season but then quit and havent been back. Heard about the DLC and figured it would be a good time to jump back in. Just watched the whole vid which was a good refresher.
I've been playing since the game launched, but this guide is just great!!! I enjoyed every explanation, throughout the entire video!!! In my opinion: a must-have training video for every player!

@@kayayldrm2650 I didn’t mind the pace on launch but the looting, gearing and crafting system was pretty lackluster for sure. It didn’t feel very rewarding like most ARPGs should. I agree with the many though, I played a bit of the current season and it already feels so much better. The expansion is promising for a d3 fan, no doubt. I’m sure it’s their goal to get everyone off d3 so they can justify dropping support lol

He said the overall story was underwhelming yes but the overall expansion whether it's worth it or not was dependent on the individual but that for most people it would be worth it. I'm not surprised that the story wasn't as a good as the main campaign because they were more focused on the content and for the most part people play the campaign once or a handful of times max. Interestingly most people agree that the base campaign was solid most many even saying it's the best but the game felt quite empty content wise vs here there's definitely a lot to offer in terms of content even if the campaign suffered.

The problem with that is when you need drop xyz you are forced to grind a mechanic you don’t like. Ultimately the game is Diablo 3.5 and about as unimaginative and watered down as they get

Dude, thank you for this! I didnt play the game since before the first season, because none of the classes was to my liking. Now I'll try the jungle-Monk, hoping it really plays a lot like the D3 Monk. The game really changed a lot, can't wait to play again.
I've been asking for a long time, but since Reviving others helps, they should pollute the maps with a death mark location when a player is down (like showing your own mark that serves nothing for you actually..) Not just sending a world map warning on the chat that someone dies from "X" -> They can even give us an Achievement for x amount of players revived.

Just one question: what would you recommend storywise, playing the campaign from the very beginning e.g with the spiritborn to replay the entire story or just the expansion campaign? I always loved the lore and would like to get the most out of it.
I might've missed it since I was multitasking while watching, but I don't think you mentioned mounts. You have to beat Act 3 of the main quest to get them. Then you can customize at any stable.

The only thing that is a bit of a sour taste is the from what all playertesters are saying the class imbalance. Druid and Barb need some love. Or a totally reworked skilltree
You also need to know that this game supports console couch coop only theoretically. In practice it’s bugged and no one fixes it, for example necro summoner is unayable since beta because minions disappear and cannot be resummoned because skeletal priest buff is called instead. Posted this on bug forum over a year ago and no responsne from blizz despite video examples (uploaded on my channel if anyone is interested)
I haven't reached far yet in the game but I hope the pet picks up those helltide fragments, I remember it sucking having to backtrack because they popped up late. Anyways great video.
I'm still waiting for them to implement a rebirth system for seasons. They had it from the start in D3 seasons, no idea why they seem to refuse to do it for D4
Good stuff. Thanks bro. I quitted the game last year after the infamous nerf patch (1.1 I think) and lack of end game goals. Gonna do a revive in the game again. A lot of new stuff to manage.
I think d4 needs a season of nightmares focused specifically on nightmare dungeons. It could be sort of a nightmare entity chasing us through the dungeon and corrupting enemies. And they could actual make it scary if they choose.
Can someone explain to me, when tempering an item, why the game almost always picks the same power? For example, you select a defense. Three powers are possible, but when trying to temper your item the same power is selected at least 3 out of 5 times. One would think that each of the three might be chosen at least once. It is extremely frustrating.
The spiritcaller came at the time of WuKong. That's a good release period. I'll never know if this was planned, likely not. A visual of what the Matrix is.
I’m just seeing a lot of AOE that alone will make spirit born far better than every other class. Just ask the Sorc lacking single target dmg does suck when fighting bosses but in a hack and slash game the majority of the time you are being attacked by mobs making AOE super strong.
But it is confirmed that Spiritborn IS much better than every other class, watch Raxx's class tier. Also obviously they just wanted to sell the expansion better, in S7 it will be much weaker once people already buy it :D
@@DoctorStrange01 I agree new classes are always going to be way too good it helps sell the new character. Spirit born will be getting nerfed hard for season 7. The devs I’m not really a fan of they don’t want us feeling powerful since launch they’ve been trigger happy when it comes to nerfs.
So can we start a new SB in VoH tomorrow as part of the S6 start, and level in the new exp campaign from 1 to 60...? Or will we likely finish the campaign before reaching level cap? Also, won't the Infernal Hordes GA chest then guarantee an ancestral legendary drop, as only they have GAs...?

I started playing a few Days before Vessel of Hatred. I've made a Hunter. I want to play the D4 Story before Vessel of Hatred. Or are they completely seperate? I made a Character for the Season but it started different.

There are certain weightings to each option that can pop up.
Thats hiw RNG works. However it seems they intentionally rigged it to always give u dupes of a unneeded stat more regularly.

Is enchanting still weighted? For example certain stats have a much higher chance of presenting. Life, mainstat, and a ton of things nobody wants.
