The fact you go over EVERYTHING is the difference between this video and others. It's like most videos assume you know everything about the game, hand picks the information given and nothing really noob friendly that i've found. Great video. Haven't played realistically since there was no season, off and on testing seasons but lost interest. This really helped catch me up and nice background video for the stuff I already knew. Very easy to listen to and understand.
Rhykker, you are an amazing educator. If i could sub twice, I would. I am a veteran player of Diablo since D1. I thoroughly enjoy your unique way to explain things without being condescending or overtalking your audience. Well done. I loved this video and all of its content!
With patch 2.0 Blizzard literally created Diablo IV Resurrected and i can not wait to dive back in building a flexibility Spiritborn character within the new Vessel of Hatred content and the main game. Thanks for the the insight, Rhykker! Timing is a flawless victory 💯
Big ups for another excellent video Rhykker! No matter how much I try to watch other videos, I cannot bring myself to totally focus and follow up all they say and often end up closing it in the middle. You explain everything in a structural and pedagocical manner with your superb voice, which makes the whole experience very pleasant. So big thanks mate. Keep'em coming.
if you bought the expansion, play spiritborn. it's predictably overpowered. but also expect it to be nerfed all the way to the bottom for the season after.
Lots of changes and additions to the game with this patch. Thanks for making the video to clearly explain how everything works and highlighting all of the activities players will be doing.
@letko6 what are you talking about? He said the overall story was underwhelming yes but the overall expansion whether it's worth it or not was dependent on the individual but that for most people it would be worth it. I'm not surprised that the story wasn't as a good as the main campaign because they were more focused on the content and for the most part people play the campaign once or a handful of times max. Interestingly most people agree that the base campaign was solid most many even saying it's the best but the game felt quite empty content wise vs here there's definitely a lot to offer in terms of content even if the campaign suffered.
@@wickedblade4751 the base story was underwhelming as well. The cinematics and carried hard. The game really doesn’t offer that much content. There is not any freedom to grind specific mechanics as you please. They have forced players to play specific parts of the game to earn exclusive drops. The problem with that is when you need drop xyz you are forced to grind a mechanic you don’t like. Ultimately the game is Diablo 3.5 and about as unimaginative and watered down as they get
Played the preseason and the first season but then quit and havent been back. Heard about the DLC and figured it would be a good time to jump back in. Just watched the whole vid which was a good refresher.
I've been playing since the game launched, but this guide is just great!!! I enjoyed every explanation, throughout the entire video!!! In my opinion: a must-have training video for every player!
Man I really appreciate this video I needed a refresher and knowledge of alot of the new stuff since launch/season 1as that is when I stop playing cause of time constraints
@@MrRhoidRage Actually yeah haha, I wasn't much of a fan of the slow paced grind like d2 or poe, and now I've heard from many that it got like d3 now and is worth trying out. All I heard in the beginning of d4 was disappointment.
@@kayayldrm2650 I didn’t mind the pace on launch but the looting, gearing and crafting system was pretty lackluster for sure. It didn’t feel very rewarding like most ARPGs should. I agree with the many though, I played a bit of the current season and it already feels so much better. The expansion is promising for a d3 fan, no doubt. I’m sure it’s their goal to get everyone off d3 so they can justify dropping support lol
I've been playing D4 since the open beta, but still find this instructive. Great in-depth video! Thanks Rhykker! I wish we could reset masterworking ranks back 1 rank at a time instead of going from 12 to 1. The stress when you're trying to get the perfect 3rd crit on rank 12 is real! 😂
I'm far from a beginner but definitely a fan, thanks for this man. I'm pumped to be getting back to Sanctuary. Always here for more of your Diablo content.
Sorry for the non game related comment but it's cool to see you without your trusty Rykker trucker cap. I don't think that happens very often? And my game related comment is, you were so right! The game is awesome in its vanilla format. It's like night and day as far as how much better the game is now compared to last year. Thank you! The content you make is always top notch. This guide is appreciated by many.
Btw, if you have progressed to torment II and try to go back to one and beat Lilith for the resplendent spark….yeah, that does not work as of current build nov. 5th, 2024. You may kick Lilith’s butt, but you get no spark.
Diablo has always been a game where you have to read about it on your down time or while you are at work because there is soo much content. You'll get the hang of it if you constantly play it without playing other games.
Rune in weapons isnt always a bad thing its better to put the runes in the weapons as you will get more bang for you buck with Str gems in your armour with the scaling
Dude, thank you for this! I didnt play the game since before the first season, because none of the classes was to my liking. Now I'll try the jungle-Monk, hoping it really plays a lot like the D3 Monk. The game really changed a lot, can't wait to play again.
Excellent video very helpful this my second diablo season ever and this video cleared up a lot of things I was 100% sure of I appreciate it. Keep up the great work. 👍
I just wanted to share my experience with Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred for PS5. I was super excited to dive into the new endgame content with my wife in couch co-op mode. However, I was shocked to find out that local co-op isn’t supported for the Dark Citadel! It feels like the developers completely glossed over this crucial detail in their marketing. They’ve been hyping up all the new content, but they never mentioned that we couldn’t play it together on the same couch. As a long-time Diablo fan, this is really disappointing. We were both looking forward to conquering the Dark Citadel together, and now it feels like a major letdown. It’s frustrating that such an important aspect of game play wasn’t made clear from the start. Just a heads up for anyone else considering this purchase: check the co-op options before diving in. Hopefully, the developers will address this oversight in the future.
Man, I never knew this. Now, that is a letdown because that is a major aspect of diablo. I'm sorry to hear that though, hopefully blizzard gets it together so you and your wife can play.
Absolutely Excellent guide! In Depth and digestible, I am Sharing this with my friends and clan mates who are returning for the expansion. Cheers Rhykker🍻
Its kind of nostalgic coming back to a Rhykers video. Would watch your stuff for diablo 3 years ago... are we into a decade ago now for that yet? Jeez, time is flying... Anyways, appreciate the videos 👍
I've been asking for a long time, but since Reviving others helps, they should pollute the maps with a death mark location when a player is down (like showing your own mark that serves nothing for you actually..) Not just sending a world map warning on the chat that someone dies from "X" -> They can even give us an Achievement for x amount of players revived.
As predicted though, the party sticks blows. It was on for about 2 weeks when the season launched, and after that it’s totally vacant. I was in t2 looking for a series run and not only were there no parties for duties, there were none for anything. Not sure if it was a bug or what, but not a good look.
Great video, but I must confess that the sheer amount of different systems, gimmicks, and features make me immediately want to quit the game despite having just bought it. It's mind-boggeling. This feature creep is insane and very intimidating. (Not to mention all the gothic buzzwords!) I really hope it's all a bit more streamlined in the future because this hardly seems fun at this point.
I haven't reached far yet in the game but I hope the pet picks up those helltide fragments, I remember it sucking having to backtrack because they popped up late. Anyways great video.
Good stuff. Thanks bro. I quitted the game last year after the infamous nerf patch (1.1 I think) and lack of end game goals. Gonna do a revive in the game again. A lot of new stuff to manage.
Awesome video and really a huge amount of work for the D4 gamers, regardless if we are constantly playing or returning ❤ Much appreciated!!! Just one question: what would you recommend storywise, playing the campaign from the very beginning e.g with the spiritborn to replay the entire story or just the expansion campaign? I always loved the lore and would like to get the most out of it.
The GTA reference gave me a cheeky grin :> Also EXCELLENT overview, quality stuff, so much has changed since launch days and you synthesized it well imho ^^
The only thing that is a bit of a sour taste is the from what all playertesters are saying the class imbalance. Druid and Barb need some love. Or a totally reworked skilltree
I might've missed it since I was multitasking while watching, but I don't think you mentioned mounts. You have to beat Act 3 of the main quest to get them. Then you can customize at any stable.
Damn.. . Well, you are going to be waiting for a minute then because they just released the vessel of hatred expansion, and it's doing great with sales right now.
I think d4 needs a season of nightmares focused specifically on nightmare dungeons. It could be sort of a nightmare entity chasing us through the dungeon and corrupting enemies. And they could actual make it scary if they choose.
Maybe this is a good place to get a dumb question answered. Why does the Spiritborn class not use there weapon in the Animations of game? They only use there fists and when they go into battle they place weapon on there back. Just kind of weird to me.
I'm not a beginner player, but still watching to support the channel. Good content, man!
Good man, viewer
hell yeah same here
Same, really well covered though
