The raven in the tree should store whispers instead of claiming them. This way you don’t waste time going through loot while you are out and about, and then when you have time to claim you can claim multiple caches at once…
Using the Raven in the Tree gives you the Cache, and not the contents of the Cache. This way you can freely pursue other Whispers and collect more Caches until you think you have enough to take time off to open them all.
You should be able to store whispers, period. Its always annoying to go back to the tree, because you just reached your 10 whispers, especially in helltide or when farming whispers in the pvp areas. Sometimes i wonder if the devs are missing the basics. When developing a game, you should always ask 2 questions? Is it fun? Will it break the game? So is it fun to have a limit on whispers? No. Will it break the game to remove the limit? Not that i can think of. Same with inventory management in general. If i have to run back constantly to town to sell my stuff, it breaks the gameplay and is not fun. So either give me bigger inventoryspace, less, but more meaningfull loot, or the option to sell/scrap it, without having to go back to town.
The problem with the eternal realm is that Blizzard has made so many changes to the way gear and paragon work, and has set ample precedents of arbitrarily resetting character levels or making their gear obsolete and incompatible with updated crafting mechanics with no process to convert the gear fairly that, at this point, it has become clear that the best strategy to "manage" your eternal characters is to just let them rot until such time that some degree of stability seems to have been achieved. By then your eternal realm will have reached max paragon, and you will have truckloads of resources, rune words, top level gems, mythic legendaries etc. so it will be easy to rebuild your eternal characters. In the mean time the eternal realm is going to remain a junk yard for obsolete characters. I feel bad for people that prefer playing at their pace in the eternal realm. Must feel really frustrating to have the rug pulled from under your feet over and over again every new season.
Okay okay we gonna nerf the Spiritborn ... and then we'll nerf the sorcerer even more so Spiritborn is still the best class so we can sell more expansions. Mwahahaha
They absolutely nerfed the crap out of SB - the Kepeleke nerf alone reduces their damage by a factor of 6. That's means reduced damage to 17% of what it was supposed to be. Then the bugs they have fixed were giving massive multipliers as well. Their overall damage will be a fraction of 1% of what it was. So reduced by several orders of magnitude. I like Sorcs but the changes made sense - literally every build used FB enchant at some point - except for actual fire builds for whom it was useless. And this way it actually buffs fire builds. I would be surprised if there aren't other changes buffing to make up for it (e.g. BL getting its new uniques plus a new legendary power to replace Grav).
Just guessing: Seems exciting now. Season comes out video: “Did this season save D4?” Two weeks later: “Why players have problems with season 7”. Rinse and repeat for season 8.
@@JeremiasdeAlmeidaSantos maybe its actually the last for lots of people, i just quit after 2 weeks playing season 6. going to poe2 day 6 and i dont think i will come back
Not like anyone cares lol, but I think I’m done with D4. I’ve invested so much time in it, brainstorming ways for its improvement, and all that happens is super simple updates and the lowest common denominator changes. “Buff ancestral drop rates”. Really? Ancestrals having a low drop rate weren’t the problem, it was that normal legendaries are bad. The whole ancestral system is a horrible idea anyway. After seeing POE2s live stream, I just realized that it’s time for me to finally commit to that. I didn’t want to let Diablo go due to my past with it, but it’s just pointless now. Game is just…. Not it
After extensively playing every season before the xpac, I decided to not even buy the xpac. Their philosophy with this game is never gonna change. I gave it a chance but I'm convinced that this is the best we're gonna get.
Man I'm so angry man at blizzard after watching POE 2 announcement, LIKE WTF IS BLIZZARD DOING???????? They are the most useless fucking team of developers I have ever seen. Comparing d4 to POE 2 is like comparing a toddler with a crayon to an artist with 500 dollar paints making the next Mona Lisa.
It's been asked for and needed for a long time, Sorc will need compensatory buffs for sure, and they may be weak initially in PTR if not buffed enough; but they absolutely needed freeing from all builds being firebolt/DB
Doesn't matter. It might be weaker if they don''t compensate enought, but at least you will have one more enchantment slot which was previously always used.
@@marsovacit wasn't a problem that we HAD to use friebolt, but that there was no other valid option for any build. there is one good enchantment for each type of a build, but not 2. it is how lame these powers are that we were forced to use firebolt
PoE2 seems to be reskinned PoE1, all the same mechanics just improved a little bit. I don't see how anyone who prefers D4 or LE or GD or TL is going to switch to PoE2 at this point. People already made their choice, PoE2 is just going to splinter the PoE fanbase.
It's feels to me like almost entirely a rehashed season 2, Witch powers instead of Vampire powers, areas taken over temporarily where you can do extra new whisper quests, the only thing really different are the gems. Is it the best season yet? Maybe but frankly the bar is on the floor when it comes to Diablo 4's seasons, the only one that was intersting at all was Season 2, all the others have either had basically nothing for a mechanic or been mostly just frankly been unenjoyable (looking at you season 3.) Also balance changes aren't content, new uniques and legendary powers? Sure that is content, but giving a skill like 10% more damage isn't content.
My head is still spinning from the poe2 presentation. Honestly dont know where i will find the time for d4 season 7 but for those who will play it i hope its cool.
It was incredible. It looks like what i always wanted from a modern Diablo game. I think this is going to be tough for Blizzard to compete with honestly even with a massively loved franchise like Diablo. Could hope it lights a fire under Blizzard's ass, but maybe the better question is if they even have the competence to actually compete? Maybe they will just lean further into the brain rot zoomzoom gameplay and cling to it as their "niche"". Im a huge Diablo fan and i don't mean to hate on the game, but honestly PoE2 has opened my eyes to how much the D4 team has missed the mark on so many things and it's just so disappointing.
Exactly I liked using it to get out of situations but then again it also made it feel slow and clunky when I wanted to use it for pure damage and not mobile utility purposes. Like ryk said wish they could somehow make it optional like if you double tap or hold the cast button you would jump back instead of removing it completely.
Better. If you don't play enough you should not get it. 1 ga is enough for all content, and non required things should not be balanced towards casual play because if it is then there is no reason for non casuals to play at all after a week. That said, I got only one 4GA in about 200 hours. So the droprate is a bit low. But I got loads of 3GA.
@@GilgameshGDLK the lottery only exists to extend playtime because there isn't much more to offer past maxing out your build. It is a really weird take he had, and just shows entitlement that you shouldn't get to enjoy one of the fun aspects that is accessible in most arpgs unless you "earn" it. And by earn i mean dump a ton of hours into Blizzards playtime statistics in their quarterly report
@@jimmy2518 That's the exact reason I went back to d3. Spending 200 hours for 1 chance item with a growing family and less free time isn't gonna work for me. And that's okay, it's cool that some people do and don't want that, but to have a weird take about it like that dude is wild.
Season 7 sounds fun I hope we get other seasons based on older classes from previous diablos. Would love an assassin from d2 season with traps martial arts clones etc or even an element season where we pick an element to serve and buff for procs etc
Witch doctor imho us the best class when doing pet builds, even better then necromancer. It’s so satisfying to see that wave of fetish minions just go out, swarm enemies and mow them down.
honestly I think that old classes like witch doctor, paladin and demon hunter will be sold in small class DLCs, like that give you a class, maybe it's specific quest which you need to do to unlock them (think of seasonal quests) it's uniques, aspects etc, while new classes would be added with expansions @@kaygetsbusy
All I want is scroll to remove 1 masterwork rank on an item. Getting something like “percentage for projectile to cast twice” on your 12th rank is murder lol
Question. I think I’m going to run out of time this season to get my hardcore character to paragon 300. What happens when she kicks over to the eternal realm? If she dies, do I lose my hardcore paragon progress? If I create an eternal hardcore, will it scale to the paragon level of my seasonal character?
As Fire Sorc main, the nerfs suck. Just change it so that it does big DoT, thats how fire should be, is DoT. I didn't play this season, but if Sorc feels those nerfs, I wont be back next season either.
As a huge diablo fan and supporter and a person who was NEVER interested in poe1 mainly coz of awful visual design i should say - PoE2 looks WAY more interesting and complete than d4. It wasn’t Spiritborn who was broken - it was THE WHOLE GAME and the rest of roster broken for 3 seasons in a row. Starting from season 4 not a single class could ever came close to clearing highest pit level - how is this possible? Why are you even having content in the game which is mathematically impossible to complete? You can’t do maths? Turned out the Spiritborn are the only properly working class and ironically - by a mistake. Why are every season you have to guess - will my character be playable in the endgame or will i suck and forced to start anew? Why in 6 seasons they can’t came up with the concept of adjusting your own difficulty and enemies/loot modifiers for open world, while having the biggest open world in whole genre? Why we still doesn’t have a way to RELIABLY farm the gear we need? Yeah you can farm mythics and uniques but for legendary - forget about it. Honestly i just tired, D4 isn’t a “simple and casual” it’s simply lame and lacking very crucial features
One single POE2 endgame mechanic is going to be more fun and rewarding than the whole D4 endgame. I briefly came back to D4 for the last 2 seasons to see if they could turn it around after spending a few season learning POE1. I haven't even watched this video to see what's coming, i don't care anymore, they weren't even able to implement things that made their old games good and i suspect they are just going to keep drip feeding some of that (eg an armoury that they developed 15 years ago) to D4 over several years, to try and cling on to engagement. Since the POE2 teaser it has simply reminded me that D4 bad, and I don't think anything short of diablo 5 (and actually being good) is going to change that
@@Titus.The_Crucifier Imortal was saying the quiet part out loud. the dev team didnt make a game, they made an advert for the in game store and try and keep you watching it for as long as possible. all the good mechanics from previous games were ditched so players would ask for them back and they could look like they were listening. an armoury was such an obvious choice considering how little stash space you have and how many different items you get which basically become junk if they arent for your current build. yet the game was so empty that leveling alts was a way to artificially drag out play time. They knew an armoury was relevant because they implemented one, to switch between your $20 skins on your alts. the skins are so obviously geared towards certain builds as well, playing with an ice mage skin on a fire character? thats silly, better get a fire skin too, and generic ones will cater to people who will only buy one skin
"Starting from season 4 not a single class could ever came close to clearing highest pit level - how is this possible? Why are you even having content in the game which is mathematically impossible to complete? You can’t do maths?" That was intended, to give people something to strife for and to brag about, if you manage to clear a higher pit than most people. Its for long term gameplay, that way you dont have to adjust the difficulty of your content every time power creep happens. D3 had the same with the rift system. "Why are every season you have to guess - will my character be playable in the endgame or will i suck and forced to start anew?" All characters are endgame viable, though not every build. When in doubt, just wait a few days until people have figured out the tierlists of the season. "Why in 6 seasons they can’t came up with the concept of adjusting your own difficulty and enemies/loot modifiers for open world, while having the biggest open world in whole genre?" Well you can, thats what torment levels are for. What you are asking for is basically adding a dozen more Torment levels into the game. They went that route in D3. Its not the worst way to go but personally i would be more happy, if they cut back on the powercreep, so that the existing difficulty settings remain challenging. "Why we still doesn’t have a way to RELIABLY farm the gear we need? Yeah you can farm mythics and uniques but for legendary - forget about it." Because you would be done with you char in a few dozen hours and would start crying, that there is nothing left to do? You can get tons of legendaries in a short amount of time and you will have pretty quickly most of them at ancestral level. Year, you will probably never find all you ancestrals with 3-4 strong affixes but those should be very rare and not handed out like candy.
Hopefully they change a few more druid buffs, it is on the right track - to me the meta that I have to be in all forms is silly. I would like be either Bear, wolf or Human, not to switch between all 3 to maximize damage.
Build identity is key for me, I am more than happy for a mixed elemental built to work for example, but I'd love to see more synergies in specializing in any class.
My god the bar is low if this is "big hype season 7 woooo". At this point, I'm just shocked that s7 is how little they can produce with 9k devs (im guessing some have been fired at this point, but theres still thousands working on this). Its almost impressive to be fair, that they are able to keep people engaged and hyped for the next season. But hey, dont let me negative vibe destroy yours, I'm happy for you Rhykker and every fan of D4, I hope you are all also happy with what you are getting. For me though, I aint reinstalling D4 for S7 - with more than 10k hours of D3, I just need something more than Pit/GRs as endgame, Lord of Hatred knows, I've done my fair share of paragon farming. GL&HF with Season 7!
they never said 9k devs lol, they said 9k individuals,do you have ANY clue, how many things go in to making a game? in those 9k it also counts people who translated for all the various languages,it counts art guys,it counts the people doing media advertisement, that alone can have hundrets lol
@@deenman23 9000 individuals working on D4 is still insane... 2400 just working on sound design? Diablo 2 had just over 70 people working on it by comparison almost 25 years ago.... However you twist and turn it... 9000 is just crazy compared to the product delivered(the game wasnt even ready when they released it last year, they spent months to fix it post release...)

Once again Rhykker calling a new Season the "best Season yet" After S6 debacle, i dont understand how content creators can keep doing this. You guys hyped the worst Season ever as something awesome, you should be ashamed
The difference between POE2 and D4 is that GGG seems to be primarily focused on delivering a good product for consumers while Blizzard seems to be primarily focused (like most corporations these days) on delivering short-term profit for shareholders.
Hmm I hate to be negative but Blizzard seems incapable of making a solid games especially this season. Maybe they should stop trying to change the game every season and focus on a quality product and content. We're a year and a half or so in and its still feels unfinished. I'm willing to bet PoE2's early access is more solid than any of D4's seasons, maybe combined. Its sad and frustrating.
Will wait and see, QoL looks good, season theme needs to be fun and deeper than before to hold my attention for more than a couple of weeks I think. POE2s presentation was immense, now I never got to anything resembling end game in POE1, I get they are re-using a lot of concepts for POE2, but as a relative outsider, that just blew me away and it seems like the challenges stack, so there will be a logical path for farming and progressing from Campaign, to Atlas into the vast array of new dungeon types and pinnacle boss fights.
@@SaschaS.-xp9df Love hostility of this community, it's possible to enjoy more than one game, and evolution of D4 is possibly too slow to warrant much engagement in S7 for me. But yeh, keep pushing fellow gamers away with your emotional reactions.
Is anything transfered over from season6 to a season7 character, or is everything from scratch again? #newtothegame, so havent tried a season change yet.
Oh you mean the game that was supposed to launch in 2020? The game that wasn't a separate game? XD Since we are allowing wishful thinking about unreleased games, Diablo 5 will wipe PoE 2 out of the history books. And don't get me started on Diablo 6! Just wait until 2029! Right around the corner!
The devouring blaze is not a nerf. The examples shown were both level 1. Devouring blaze did 21× to burning enemies and 30× to crowd controlled enemies while the new one will deal 30× crit damage in all cases in general which is good. Both maxed stats are the same just a better application of it now.
Great video, as always. Honestly, at this point, announcements kinda fall flat these days by D4 team. Whether they by a fireplace or not. They honestly just lost me.
Honestly, at this point, they should make whispers use the reputation system. Let me stack and save 20 of them to turn in when I'm done or need a break.
It will be interesting to see player numbers for season 7 with POE2 out. I'd imagine it's going to be significantly lower. The games aren't even in the same stratosphere from what we can see from the preview today.
Well I think we can all agree that D4 is for casual players and knowing now that poe 2 is pretty much as complex as poe I dont see those super casuals trying to learn all that.
@jf2849 i think there's quite a bit more crossover between these games than people realize. Sure there's a bunch of super casuals that didn't play POE, have no clue about POE2. But for anyone that loves ARPGs... it's like, actual fun end game, challenging bosses, rewarding crafting systems. Diablo 4 has none of those. They full launched a game that wasn't ready, buggy, with little to no meat on the bone. I think we'll see quite a bit more people switch over when it's available in 2 weeks.
It took just as many seasons or more for D3 to get off the ground. D2 wasn’t even fully polished until multiple patches after the expansion. D4 had a wealth of opportunity to learn from D2 & D3 and still botched the release, but let’s cut them a little slack here. D4 is a legitimate game now, and they are giving us promising updates. If they give us all of this + more in Season 7, and continue to build, D4 will deserve our acknowledgement as a legitimately great Diablo game.
That's the spirit. I will also play both. Nothing wrong with providing feedback and criticisms to Diablo 4 just as long they will improve the game over time.
same here - not sure why people are pitting one game against the other. maybe it makes people feel better if they convince people to NOT play another game cuz they dont play it lol
My concern about all these seasons is if my computer's graphic card can handle them as I am already having trouble with this season, crashing. I did update the drivers but that did not help all that much. I'm on a very strict budget and can not be upgrading graphics cards or getting a new computer that has one at this time. I'm hoping blizzard will keep this in mind for their new season and lay off the graphics generating so we can enjoy the game for at least another year!!!
If you weren't shilling for blizz, you could be jumping to the PoE 2 frenzy right now. Always wanted to see you test your skills and theory crafting abilities. But alas, you are stuck advertising for a baby ass game.
I'm not a poe player although I have supported the game before it was cool, I just never liked the gem system and I think it was too complex for no reason. But I have been waiting for PoE2 and after watching GGG's stream yesterday WOW .This is the most innovative systems arpg ever IMO !!! I don't know if I will stick with it, but just by watching the stream, I got that feeling, that urge when you want to play a game, sooooo much something I can't say for D4. The Devs seem to have a vision for their game!!!
I've enjoyed playing Diablo 4, but if they can't fix single target damage scalability for each class and give you a choice of multiple builds that can compete might have to stop playing. I enjoy sorcerer and looks like they nerfed it by taking away the additive damage from burning. The game could be so much more if they would let all classes scale up.
The sad thing is 90% of players don't want nerfs, they enjoy the power fantasy but the 10% minority the pros love their nerfs.Sb doing to much damage,so what then buff the other classes, why is it always nerfs.
Ya dude, caltrops with the auto-dash flurry is incredible. Helps gain impetus when fighting close range, great for avoiding death explosions from enemies, they really should keep the jump back as at least an option. It's how I lead enemies into those annoying spire circles in the infernal hordes too.
well is all good, except that fact that i cannot connect to the server for three days now, it.s stuck on reconnecting, i've tried everything, reinstalling windows 11, drivers up to date, video driver is at latest version, reinstalling the game, absolutely nothing works, it stays forever in loggin in screen , and then reconnecting.I really dont understand what is wrong with it.I tried even on windows 10, same thing😭😭😭😭😭😭

I hate to be that guy.. BUT I am so tired and irritated by Diablo 4 BS hype. I gave them more than they ever deserve. I am so happy POE2 is so close. I don't give a damm about S7. I struggled through most seasons with crashes and DC, ( all other bugs and issues) finally S5 was the best yet, and even with issues S5 was okay. S6 I crashed every time porting to town. Mid-season event, Halloween event.. what a load of crap. Thank you for your time and energy . I hope the messenger doesn't get shot.. see you December 6th
Well i pretty much had almost zero issues with crashes with Diablo IV and with S6 i have probably around 150+ hours now. There are the occassional lag spikes, but other than that, the game runs smoothly for me. Maybe its your hardware? In which case POE2 might also not be a smooth ride for you.
@@Daniel-rd6st Its an known issue.. Not everyone is having it, but its occurs amongst a lot of players. Nothing to do with connection or wifi.. its something in the game that seems to fixed now. ( for me). Some people still having the issue
Season looks pretty good so far. The change to the tree will be really nice with the Raven, and thank god for the Armory. Definitely can't wait to see some eldritch builds, and how the Rogue and Necromancer changes will be. Let's hope season 7 does some really good things for the game.
We need the Witch Doctor and Paladin added to the game. That would make the game feel complete. Maybe later add the assassin if they open up Xiansai which i would think is the Asian style continent of Sanctuary in a future expansion.
Every Season is the Biggest Season. And Every Season is their Biggest Disappointment. Selling the seasons is the same story over and over again. Don't know how anyone keeps trying to sell this game on people.
I'm amazed to see so many people reacting positively to this campfire chat. It seemed like a copy / paste of season 2 with minimal class changes. Minions getting lucky hit is cool. Everything else was meh.
D4 was an early access release in all but name. The game has really only hit what i would consider 1.0 in season 6. I was really very hopeful that they would announce some kind of end game progression, but alas, expectations dashed, disappointment with D4 continues. The game is in a good place, its fun, the loot is fixed, the progression systems have been majorly overhauled and i don't not like them. But GGG just did their big reveal on POE2 today and outlined all the endgame activities we will be able to partake in. Come on Blizzard! Pushing pit and grinding paragon is not enough.
After watching the POE2 early access video today, I have to ask why, would anyone continue to play D4? From the gameplay to the variety of activities to the endgame, POE2 looks far superior to anything in D4. D4 is a game built by interns. The build variety and ability to not be stuck with one lame skill all the time shows just how bad the D4 devs are at their job. D4 is what you get from a AAA game developer. I already bought early access and can't wait for December 6!
Y not just give sorc a 3rd enchant so we can still get dmg from the fire enchant, instead they nerf fire enchant and dev. blaze passive. Ball light might b cool but now we will do less dmg across the board with changes.
I just wanted to note - in regards to your comment about not having anywhere to go from Pit 150 - that's largely due to the fact that there is STILL no leaderboard. STILL. If there were a leaderboard, we could compete in pit 150s for times, same as D3, which lived (Competitively) for a decade.
We only reached GR 150 late in d3's life, and even then, some grumbling began among those topping the leaderboards to have more GR levels added. I do agree we should have pit leaderboards though
Sorry for the late reply. Hmm, sure, but the gating on 150 pit is super artificial and doesnt feel good.. With the exception of spiritborn interactions, we cant complete 150 due to the boss having pentilions (maybe?) of HP. That just doesnt feel good. All it does is make power creep (which everyone hates) a necessity; otherwise, well NEVER down 150 legitimately.
Don’t be logical because the Kyle’s throw tantrums in their parents basements when you ask common sense questions. What’s the point of 300 paragon if they don’t expect people to be able to reach 300 and they themselves said there’s really no reward? This game is a dumpster fire and the most fun is had when there’s bugs. Pitiful really
Excited to see Diablo IV evolve in the right direction but at the same time, I am underwhelmed by how unoriginal the season 7 mechanics are. Are they already running out of idea that they need to resort to doing a mashup of season 1 and 2 mechanics? POE introduces wild mechanics with each league: tower defense, MOBA, roguelike mode etc. Why can't Diablo IV try to be a little bit more original?
I am probably one of the very few people who are looking forward to buffs to werewolf's. I have yet to do a full Druid toon as i wasn't really into pulverize builds and wanted run around as a werewolf. Now I can for season 7. Also, Armory! Finally.
I am already in the mode where I play when a new season comes out for a couple of weeks and then move on. This happened in D3 as well. only D2 was able to keep me playing due to its fun factor.
@@mgee9130 Exactly my point. The games they are making now are not engaging enough to have us just jump on and play for fun. We need to be lured in. I can pick up a game like D2 and just play and have fun. I have high hopes for PoE 2, but we will see.
Piranhado? ... is that a joke? Remember how they said that D4 was gonna go 'back to the series' darker roots'? And now we get 'piranhados'. I want to throw up. PoE 2 can't come fast enough.
Finally getting the armory. Still remember all those who were saying that an armory would be terrible and would ruin the game. Being able to use more builds will just increase how long I play each season for. Now just waiting for a loot filter.
I assure you whenever I mentioned it that's the replies I got. I made a suggestion on last epoch discord once and got blasted for it. There are some who don't want it in any shape or form.
At the current pace I would imagine a loot filter and better trade system will come in a year from now if we're lucky. Hopefully other games already have these things
The armory should store our gear. I still think they should do the fortnite style of inventory/stash space. I think It would help the game. If a dev needs it explained I will. It makes way more sense for a game that is loot driven.
Death Must Die does this type of stash thing right, IMO. You have a bunch (and I mean A BUNCH) of storage space and a "library" which categorizes your items, and you can search for gear with specific affixes or for specific slots (or any mix of both). Also the gear can be worn on multiple characters, but you get a warning telling you that if you want to remove a piece of gear that's worn by multiple characters (and put it in your inventory), you have to do it at the library.
@@marsovac but you could, its all about how its designed. I just don't think the armory should be half assed if they are going to take the time to make it.
@@ToyokaX I'm not sure what that means I would have to look at it but I know stash space has been figured out already and the dev's are missing out on good idea's. search features are nice, but what I'm talking about is reducing the load on the game and adding space at the same time.
I wonder if gems and runes stay sucked in the item when you switch from build to build. Like a necro versus a barbarian using grandfather, they have different runes in them.
My god, Rhykker, your ability to look at the most mediocre bologna Blizzard has ever created and consistently spin it into something you feign excitement over is a truly unique talent.
My god, random commenter, your ability to constantly consume content about a game you don't like just to whine about it instead of moving on with your life and playing something else is truly a unique talent
poe2 looks like it will have the same shit itemization poe1 has,so hard pass for me,but actual good arpgs like grim dawn are getting another expansion, and titan quest 2 is proly coming out next year
I can explain it without even watching the video. You grind to 60, get new type of gear, gem or affix. You are a but stronger than last season and you grind and grind and grind for paragon and slightly better gear stats
I'd love to see an option to set a booth in real time, where players can "browse and buy instantly" U set a booth, shop, however u call it, pick what u need, if needed, set stats price etc. and boom. Then go do ur dungeons or whatever or stand and trade if you need to negotiate :D
I'm out of this game. After spending $120 on this game ($60 + 6x$10) but because I wont buy the DLC for another $40, I don't get: OP class (on purpose), runes, companions and I have to roll random mythics. What a joke, they've gone too far with the locked content. How dare I only pay a measly $120 instead of their required $170 for a game and expect more.
Kinda sad they totally removed the backwards leap from Caltrops. I always viewed it as a mobility skill and it was very fun to use it for positioning. Maybe an aspect could bring it back with a twist!
I’m sorry, Rhykker, but none of this seems particularly exciting to me. I’ll probably try it out eventually, but right now POE 2 is the game I’m most excited for and D4 missed its opportunity to hold my interest before POE 2 Early Access. Blizzard is a massive company with so many more resources and employees than GGG, but they have consistently shown that even with all their resources they can only manage to make incremental changes to the game over the course of 1.5 years. I’m glad they overhauled the item system and they’re making changes to other systems, added companions, all that. But at its core, D4 is still the same, and while it’s fun in short spurts, it’s just not what I want in an ARPG to be playing for months at a time.
Boulders in real life: Crushing, knockback, knockdown, stun, daze, blunt force trauma, dismemberment, external and internal bleeding. Blizzard: Let's make it do poison dmg. Jeezus.. 😂
So gut fire sorcerers to make the others better, simply that is not balance, it’s becoming very clear the original classes actually need to be powered up to spiritborn levels.
Just got my UA-cam gaming end of year recap and it said I was in your top 0.2% of fans with watchtime lol I watch everyone of them to the end. Even watched your lore series for diablo twice over
The raven in the tree should store whispers instead of claiming them. This way you don’t waste time going through loot while you are out and about, and then when you have time to claim you can claim multiple caches at once…
kinda like the merc rewards
Or they could just put a stash box right next to the raven.
Good idea. But not needed. The rewards are a cache.
Moving the tree of whispers waypoint is proof that the devs listen to Rhykker videos
Or they slowly develop the level design skill-set
As if they needed this to figure it out.
More like they started launching their own game. I mean past main menu/shop - what they usually test.
Rhykker could start telling them to do things like in PoE 🤔
yup and his ideas arnt that great soo we're fkd
I just switch gear after the season is over and scrap the old stuff

Tbf, firebolt enhancement is not used anymore
THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE!
Yup, this is the D4 cycle.
Not it
Well said. It's truly in a sad state
I really hope you'll find planty of enjoyment in PoE2, PoE1 is supported really well so far, so the same expectations are for PoE2
Same here.
After extensively playing every season before the xpac, I decided to not even buy the xpac. Their philosophy with this game is never gonna change. I gave it a chance but I'm convinced that this is the best we're gonna get.
One game calls itself "Diablo". The other game carries on the spirit of Diablo.
After the Poe2 presentation, now I understand why blizzard had to turn off comments, below their movies on yt lol 😂
Seems to me like anyone this days can create better Diablo game than blizz lol
Need to see the full patch notes because tge sorc firebolt and devouring blaze looks like a huge damage nerf.
I have almost exclusively used different fire builds anyway so this firebolt enchantment nerf just ruins my favorite builds
Dropping this news when the POE2 live stream is ongoing is a interesting choice.
They know POE 2 will kill Diablo 4
I think they did it to see how many hardcore fans they have, to calculate mtx earnings/server space for the next season.
PoE2 seems to be reskinned PoE1, all the same mechanics just improved a little bit. I don't see how anyone who prefers D4 or LE or GD or TL is going to switch to PoE2 at this point. People already made their choice, PoE2 is just going to splinter the PoE fanbase.
is Poe anything like diablo or is turnbase
@@derrickharney6750 It's like diabolo. Poe1 was made as a try to make a spirital succesor for D2.
Seriously you are kidding right? It's a common season with power gems just in different colours. These devs rly don't get it...
It's feels to me like almost entirely a rehashed season 2, Witch powers instead of Vampire powers, areas taken over temporarily where you can do extra new whisper quests, the only thing really different are the gems. Is it the best season yet? Maybe but frankly the bar is on the floor when it comes to Diablo 4's seasons, the only one that was intersting at all was Season 2, all the others have either had basically nothing for a mechanic or been mostly just frankly been unenjoyable (looking at you season 3.)
Also balance changes aren't content, new uniques and legendary powers?

Bro, POE 2 dropped the Nuke and I still can't recover after.
Can’t wait for everyone to absolutely RIP PoE2 for some unbalanced builds and content that’s not AAAA+ loll
Damn. I really liked that caltrops backflip. Used it to get me out of trouble after a shadow step and other moves.
Exactly I liked using it to get out of situations but then again it also made it feel slow and clunky when I wanted to use it for pure damage and not mobile utility purposes. Like ryk said wish they could somehow make it optional like if you double tap or hold the cast button you would jump back instead of removing it completely.
still haven't found a GA 3-4 iteam
@@marsovac So casual gamers shouldn't ever hit the lottery on amazing gear? weird take.

Season 7 sounds fun
I hope we get other seasons based on older classes from previous diablos. Would love an assassin from d2 season with traps martial arts clones etc or even an element season where we pick an element to serve and buff for procs etc
Witch Doctor receiving some love was unexpected, but welcome. Season of the Demon Hunter when??
I hope the witch doctor can b the next class along with the paladin
Witch doctor imho us the best class when doing pet builds, even better then necromancer. It’s so satisfying to see that wave of fetish minions just go out, swarm enemies and mow them down.
honestly I think that old classes like witch doctor, paladin and demon hunter will be sold in small class DLCs, like that give you a class, maybe it's specific quest which you need to do to unlock them (think of seasonal quests) it's uniques, aspects etc, while new classes would be added with expansions @@kaygetsbusy
I believe the current rogue is a mix of the D2 assassin and the D3 demon hunter. A paladin/crusader would be a welcomed addition however.

I miss the hydra build in D3, hope they will add a class set for it or buff it at some point.
Don’t mess with my caltrops man… love those things
I know man.... Sucks they are charging it. The backflip was a very VERY good evade too.
The jump back was super slow and annoying. Easily the worst thing about rogues since all top builds uses it.
i agree, if you know how to use it then the jump back is great mobility
Ryker did you see the POE2 livestream?
Not yet, looking forward to catching up, I hear it was amazing

Also/otherwise, if you get most of your mats back when you salvage, why don't you get anything back when you reset???
Wait, will the hurricanes from wolves have boulders circling in them as well?
Problem with adding runes is making crafting specific mythics harder.
That would be amazing
You can’t do maths?"
That was intended, to give people something to strife for and to brag about, if you manage to clear a higher pit than most people. Its for long term gameplay, that way you dont have to adjust the difficulty of your content every time power creep happens. D3 had the same with the rift system.
"Why are every season you have to guess - will my character be playable in the endgame or will i suck and forced to start anew?"
All characters are endgame viable, though not every build. When in doubt, just wait a few days until people have figured out the tierlists of the season.
"Why in 6 seasons they can’t came up with the concept of adjusting your own difficulty and enemies/loot modifiers for open world, while having the biggest open world in whole genre?"
Well you can, thats what torment levels are for.
Yeah you can farm mythics and uniques but for legendary - forget about it."
Because you would be done with you char in a few dozen hours and would start crying, that there is nothing left to do? You can get tons of legendaries in a short amount of time and you will have pretty quickly most of them at ancestral level. Year, you will probably never find all you ancestrals with 3-4 strong affixes but those should be very rare and not handed out like candy.
There are a bunch of free to play RPGs that are better than diablo iv, game is flat out boring.
The track you have playing in background, which one is it? I cannot find it on official Vessel of Hatred soundtrack
Do we need to buy the dlc to play any of this??
My god the bar is low if this is "big hype season 7 woooo". At this point, I'm just shocked that s7 is how little they can produce with 9k devs (im guessing some have been fired at this point, but theres still thousands working on this). GL&HF with Season 7!

multiple uniques to choose from in the same slots is a win. Being able to have a build that has a number of different ways to gear is great
So are druids still going to have to spin plates to get decent werewolf/werebear damage or are they going to let us stay in one form now?

Just play POE2 then. No worrys, no looking back to d4.

Whoa, 7 seasons to finally get to par of where D3 left off...Sometimes I think they break things just to say they're going to fix it later.
I love everything they’re doing for S7, but I’m sorry if a 4GA Unique drops it should have a max roll unique power.

The constant nerfs are ruining this game.
I feel like you have become a bit of a meme at the minute depseratly trying to old onto that game ... if we compile this last year videos.. it's been constent jagged graph... I think some of you streamers / content creater have lost a bit of touch with the idea of a stable and normal game an now are just excited by mediocrity and unableling company that have completly lost touch with ppl ...
Ooof had to move 666 thumbs off. 😹
I've literally used caltrops since pre... I know they weren't' popular but I loved them.. HATE change... they were NOT hard to freakin' use and the leap back was for a freakin' purpose... It was actually the WHOLE POINT in using them!
Otherwise, Love the sound of the new season!
OMG! So many QoL improvements!! I mean, sure a few minor complaints (see above) but overall, come on! Enough with the "oh, I expected so much more... when is anything EVER going to be enough FAST enough for everyone?
I agree the change made me not want to use caltrops anymore.
Just let the "Three of whisper" stack, so you get more even though you are full. No need for zones with "Small trees"".
It started since inception, S2 was better, S3 i did not play S4 it was really bad, and S5 it was fixed. S6 it was terrible. Nothing to do with connection or wifi.. its something in the game that seems to fixed now. ( for me). Some people still having the issue
Sounds like a positive direction to take the game. Thank you for this condensed information.
I hope some day Sorc Hydra will get some kind of really neat unique(s) to change how it plays and make it meta for at least a season.
K
Y not just give sorc a 3rd enchant so we can still get dmg from the fire enchant, instead they nerf fire enchant and dev. blaze passive. Ball light might b cool but now we will do less dmg across the board with changes.
I hope they keep doing good updates like this. Its nice to see them listening and actually trying.
So what’s the point of even having 150 pits in the game if we not supposed to b that strong yet just add it when we strong enough?
Season of the Armory. I’ll take it.
I am probably one of the very few people who are looking forward to buffs to werewolf's. I have yet to do a full Druid toon as i wasn't really into pulverize builds and wanted run around as a werewolf. Now I can for season 7. Also, Armory! Finally.
sorc damage is so embarrassing that blizzard turned off damage numbers in the ball lightning showcase
Um, who would burn an aspect for jump back on caltrops? It better have some other effects.
I am already in the mode where I play when a new season comes out for a couple of weeks and then move on. This happened in D3 as well. only D2 was able to keep me playing due to its fun factor.
Well thats is how most people play arpgs nowdays.
@@mgee9130 Exactly my point. The games they are making now are not engaging enough to have us just jump on and play for fun. We need to be lured in. I can pick up a game like D2 and just play and have fun.
I have high hopes for PoE 2, but we will see.
@@mgee9130doesn’t mean that’s how it should be
when is ptr?
Piranhado? ... is that a joke?
Remember how they said that D4 was gonna go 'back to the series' darker roots'?
And now we get 'piranhados'.
I want to throw up.
PoE 2 can't come fast enough.
Finally getting the armory. Still remember all those who were saying that an armory would be terrible and would ruin the game. Being able to use more builds will just increase how long I play each season for. Now just waiting for a loot filter.
Nobody said that, they said if it wasn't given appropriate attention it would cause tons of game breaking issues on the back end.
@@akaoz2617 I'm telling you what the devs said, and they did so multiple times.
@@jomokous I think your confusing something here. When was I ever talking about the devs?
The armory should store our gear. I still think they should do the fortnite style of inventory/stash space. I think It would help the game. If a dev needs it explained I will. It makes way more sense for a game that is loot driven.
You can't store gear, because then you could not use the same piece of gear in two different builds. The armory would be useless.
Oh no! Not my backward-jump caltrops! I love that.
Season 7 - SB reborn
Season 8 - Armory reborn
Season 9 - dead game reborn
Dose dance of Knives qualify as a Mobility Skill?
caltrops update should have been optional in the skill tree
What PoE 2 offers in EA literally draws in the a*s of D4. It's not even funny anymore xD. Seasons in D4 are embarrassing.
Bruh 💀💀💀
Yeah… I LOVE my dude Rhykker, he’s a gem, but his endless optimism is now giga-cope levels of reaching.
Its either that or those Blizzard HQ party invitations may not be possible anymore :^)
U mad cause bro doesn’t feed u negativity? If u dont like the game just play something else or go outside n stop gooning all day
My god, random commenter, your ability to constantly consume content about a game you don't like just to whine about it instead of moving on with your life and playing something else is truly a unique talent
If they do a rune slot in the stash, they need to add pulling from the stash when upgrading runes, along with other things.
I am hyped, but mostly for PoE2 🙂
Season of Exile :P
poe2 looks like it will have the same shit itemization poe1 has,so hard pass for me,but actual good arpgs like grim dawn are getting another expansion, and titan quest 2 is proly coming out next year
I can explain it without even watching the video. You grind to 60, get new type of gear, gem or affix. You are a but stronger than last season and you grind and grind and grind for paragon and slightly better gear stats
Why can't we just have fun with whatever build we come up with? Why nerf everything all the time?
Because all the Kyle’s in their parents basements think grinding endlessly for little to no reward = endgame content
I'd love to see an option to set a booth in real time, where players can "browse and buy instantly"
U set a booth, shop, however u call it, pick what u need, if needed, set stats price etc. and boom.
Then go do ur dungeons or whatever or stand and trade if you need to negotiate :D
I'm out of this game. After spending $120 on this game ($60 + 6x$10) but because I wont buy the DLC for another $40, I don't get:
OP class (on purpose), runes, companions and I have to roll random mythics.
Those Rhyker clones are going ham in Black Ops 6.
POV, The one dude playing D4 after Dec 6th- “where’d everybody go!?”
You really think that many of the D4 playerbase will go play Titan Quest 2?
@@TheCooderixyes. Yes I do.
Even watched your lore series for diablo twice over
I appreciate you!
