10 Minute Morning Meditation for Clarity, Stability, and Presence | Goop

- It’s easy to vow not to look at notifications on your phone first thing in the morning. But in reality-especially when your phone is your alarm-it’s what’s there, pulling you out of peaceful slumber and racing toward the realities of your day.
To capture-or recapture-the stillness of that first moment of wakefulness, Austin-based yoga and meditation instructor Kate Waitzkin recorded a ten-minute guided meditation focused on clarity, stability, and presence for us. We like to listen to this morning meditation while we’re still in bed. But you can play it anytime you’re looking to center yourself in the present and find some clarity and stability.

Outstanding! As a newbie, I wanted only 10 minutes. Her instructions are precise & easy to follow. I visualized the golden light as my spiritual presence which calmed & encouraged my capabilities. This meditation is what got me into a daily practice of meditating everyday. Her style is exactly what I needed...visualization without too much thinking. Some people lead you into this huge detailed visualization and My brain is worried about the details of what I’m picturing that it becomes work. I hope you’re manifesting the hell out of what you want 💗
I’m newer kinda to meditation, and i caught myself continuing the gratitude at the end waiting for more instruction and was like wow i was focused 😂❤️

This is my first time doing 10 minutes of meditation. I usually do 5 and during the 5 minute meditation I’m thinking why is it taking so long. I definitely lost a sense of time with this meditation. When it stopped I couldn’t believe 10 minutes went by so fast. Thank you so much for this!

By far this was one of the best guided meditation I have ever experienced. I usually lose focus and have to re-engage. I could actually see the golden light going through my body. It was profound as in my morning prayer I asked God to empty me of darkness and fill me with light. I was so blessed to have that 10 minute encounter with the divine! Thank you! And thank God! 👏

You want to know an awful lot this early, lady ! 😉 I love your voice. This was the first time I spent ten minutes this way in favor of myself (and others...) in the morning this way. It wasn't easy but I'm sure this will change with time and some patience. Even though I could give my overall feeling a good note, I failed with posture and breathing. I will continue doing this, and gosh ! ten minutes seemed forever. But it's only ten minutes - well spent. Thank you ! 💛

I was hesitant about this one based on her voice in the beginning, but it was perfect! She kept my attention for the 10 minutes, and her voice actually helped me stay focused and awake, which is helpful when I'm trying to wake up for the morning. I'll be saving this for future use. Thank you. Her voice and tone were comforting and engaging. I appreciated that once this ended it didn’t blast into a commercial that shakes the calm you’d just successfully achieve.out of you
It starts very well, and it actually is easy to follow, but in the middle when you give visualization instructions, could give a listener few moments without talking.. I had to stop as it started stressing me out and I couldn't concentrate anymore. Great meditation technique and the voise is really calming, but there has to be less talking..

I played this after my morning prayer,, so I was relaxed. It is a very good meditation, but your voice seems to tail off at the end of a sentence. Trying to discern what you are saying broke my concentration. It could just be me. I'll try again tomorrow and hope that my household is as quiet as today.

Ok I was doing this meditation focused and relaxed for the first 5 minutes until my brother cat who were watching over and who is in heat her first heat I believe just wouldn’t shut up and she’s already naturally super vocal, so after I screamed internally to stfu at her, I gently closed my eyes and went ha chu I sneezed lol have good day to you’re reading this

I absolutely love this meditation, just the way it is. The ball of light did not move fast for me at first so I breathed through where it got stuck without stressing and soon is was whizzing up and down Np. Hope that might help others who have trouble at that point to move through it effortlessly. Great meditation for setting daily intention! 😊
