I was raised in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s. I feel so blessed! The music and the movies were the best. Back in those days everybody could take a joke, people were naturally friendly, trans gender was treated as a mental disorder, there was no pedophile flag, and a carton of eggs was sold for a reasonable price! 🤣🤯 This was also a time in which people would take responsibility for their actions and their emotions. People also realized that no one offends them, we all pick our own emotions! 😂

Yeah, we’re all at our best looking in our 20s. I have a wife that doesn’t age though. I’m lucky even though people think she’s my daughter. We’re only 5 years apart.
I never knew there'd come a day When I'd be sayin' to you Don't let this good love slip away Now that we know that it's true Don't, don't you know the kind of man I am No, said I'd never fall in love again But it's real and the feeling comes shinin' through I'm so caught up in you, little girl And I never did suspect a thing So caught up in you, little girl That I never wanna get myself free And baby it's true, you're the one Who caught me, baby, you taught me How good it could be It took so long to change my mind I thought that love was a game I played around enough to find No two are ever the same You made me realize the love I'd missed So hot, love I couldn't quite resist When it's right, the light just comes shinin' through I'm so caught up in you, little girl You're the one whose got me down on my knees So caught up in you, little girl That I never wanna get myself free And baby it's true, you're the one Who caught me, baby, you taught me How good it could be Fill your days and your nights No need to ever ask me twice, oh no Whenever you want me And if ever, comes a day When you should turn and walk away, oh no I can't live without you I'm so caught up in you Yeah, yeah, yeah And if ever, comes a day When you should turn and walk away, oh no I can't live without you I'm so caught up in you, little girl You're the one that's got me down on my knees So caught up in you, little girl That I never wanna get myself free And baby it's true, you're the one Who caught me, baby, you taught me How good it could be Little girl, you're the one that's got me down on my knees So caught up in you, little girl That I never wanna get myself free And baby it's true, you're the one Who's caught me and taught me You got me so caught up in you

I'm not sure how many movies they used this song, but it was very prominently in the '83 movie Spring Break. It also was the debut of model/actress Jayne Modean, who was modeling for Montgomery Ward for quite a while. She played Susie in this clip: ua-cam.com/video/WhezZxyKJYw/v-deo.html I had quite few years where I was thinking the Lysette Anthony who was the model on three Bryan Adams videos was Jayne, and maybe Jayne switched her name when she went to acting. They're fairly similar, but since I hadn't seen Jayne in a long time (83). They don't look that similar when you have them side-by-side. You don't know how many decades it's bothered me since seeing Spring Break, that I see her in only one film from all that modeling, and I never knew her name and forgot the movie. I only found the name of the movie because I had thought of this song and knew it was in it, and searched for this song used on a movie. I couldn't get it out of my head that she was in a Mannequin movie for some reason, but clearly I recall her being the main girl, and should certainly wasn't the main one in those. I guess the first decade or two after that, it didn't bug me that I didn't know her name, etc, thinking perhaps she would be in a number of acting gigs, and she was, just not very big, and even the tv spots she had, I didn't see them, because they were all programs I didn't watch. It sure did seem back in her modeling days, you could hardly pick up a catalog and she wasn't in it. Actually, seeing her here again up close on a commercial, I can see why I thought Lysette Anthony resembled her: ua-cam.com/video/JtMbHRBTw7Q/v-deo.html
Every time I hear this song, I think of the movie spring break when Nelson forgets the room number of the girl he is with and gets kicked out of the hotel.

Such a sin that she's gone. She made a hand full of other movies. Then a 20 year nose dive into drugs and early death. R.I.P Amanda
According to her parents, Amanda was sexually assaulted by a Hollywood producer or agent or something...she left the biz and never got past it. Sad.

I'm so caught up in you, little girl
And I never did suspect a thing
So caught up in you, little girl
That I never wanna get myself free
And baby it's true, you're the one
Who caught me, baby, you taught me
How good it could be
It took so long to change my mind
I thought that love was a game
I played around enough to find
No two are ever the same
You made me realize the love I'd missed
So hot, love I couldn't quite resist
When it's right, the light just comes shinin' through
I'm so caught up in you, little girl
You're the one whose got me down on my knees
So caught up in you, little girl
