Same here I'm 39 so I grew up on the good stuff, heavy metal, big hair, a bit of disco, 90's rap, the music these days is a joke- (laughing at not with)
@@whore_knee I can’t speak for today’s teens, but the main difference I see is technology. Kids are glued to their phones, devices, video games, etc. When I was a kid, I left the house in the morning basically returning for meals. I played outside all day with my buddies. It also seems that kids nowadays are in a hurry to grow up. I don’t know, just my two cents.
@@caraRd203 I totally agree.
I feel you
They both are gone but they left their love of music for us all. We miss you Eddie and Ronnie. ❤
Imagine Eddie laying into this in heaven and Ronnie strolling through the pearly gates singing this classic line.
So sweet 💕
Beautiful I can also imagine Eddie Ronnie and her sister Estelle who passed in 2009 performing this song in Heaven with Estelle singing background
Hahahaha creative 🤔
RIP. Thanks for the memories! Eddie Money you will be remembered forever
RIP Ronnie Spector - I loved your voice and your songs will live on forever. Peace sister.
should have been credited Eddie Money feat. Ronnie Spector, she deserved to be recognized
I was a teenager living in a dinky farming town in North Dakota when this came out and I LOVED IT!! While everyone else was listening to country, I was singularly listen to this type of music. It really has sentimental meaning to me…
RIP Ronnie and RIP Eddie
It's awesome being that one little daisy in a field of hay! Lol! Rock on!
Shout out to small town ND folks! Some of the nicest people in the world!
I'm from the F/M area
RIP to both Eddie Money and Ronnie Spector
They are now reunited beyond singing this song together again
RIP Ronnie Spector. Your voice was magic.

Wasn't she. RIP
Happy New Year. Ronnie's voice was magic Now she Estelle and Eddie are in heaven singing this song with the Angels

...And Eddie Money. So was yours!
Nobody struts it like Ronnie did!!❤ RIP Ronnie
Rest in peace Eddie Money (March 21, 1949 - September 13, 2019)
Holy Moly Eddie had the same birthday like me. 21th March.

I didn't know he passed. Rest in peace eddie. Tons of memory's from my childhood to your music.
Sad to hear that. RIP Ed
Holy crap - he died THIS year?
RIP EDDIE, I'm only 21 but you have been a part of the soundtrack of this summer for me and it's so sad to see you go
A true artist who in my opinion is underrated. This guy was phenomenal.
@SARA MACINTOSH Huh?
@SARA MACINTOSH Calm down, sweetie.
He and Ronnie Spector were fantastic. 👍🎶
Hell I hear this song so many times I find it quite hard to believe that he’s underrated lol
Mos def underrated! And the only cop i support musically 😊
An era that will hardly be surpassed in terms of quality and quantity of good music created in the 80s.
Is it just me or is her voice freaking awesome?
PHUCKING AMAZING!...
He was fantastic but if she was not on this song it would not be the same ❤
It wasn't just her voice..
she was something special.
There was this guy John that met her and he fell head over heels in love.
Of course Ronnie literally belonged to Phil Specter at the time. So it was over before it started. John was sad and decided to go "all in" when he met a conceptual artist in London several months later. The young artist's name was Yoko.
Yoko Ono.
The rest is history.
@@GayleTate I have to agree! But the push is I believe. Eddie would've arranged it differently.
I come back to watch this video / song often. I was just thinking Exactly the Same thing…
Eddie Money is Great BUT…. Ronnie Owns this Song 🎶
One of the best songs to listen when you drive right out in the middle of night and reminisce about the old days...

RIP Ronnie Spector; now she and Eddie can sing this live again. ❤️
Me 🙋🏼♀️ November 25, 2024. 50 years old , I grew up on this stuff, lol. This song is my brindle boxer/ bulldog Roscoe’s lullaby. He especially loves the parts Ronnie sang 🤣 be my little baby, baby my darlin’
Ronnie was one of my first celeb crushes... RIP RONNIE & EDDIE
You gai bruh
Nothing will ever be as great as 80s music
Agree 10000%
Except possibly Nirvana Smashing Pumpkins Pavement Radiohead Oasis Pearl Jam PJ Harvey Red Hot Chili Peppers POE Garbage Gin Blossoms Wallflowers Counting Crows Soundgarden Alice In Chains Blur Weezer Foo Fighters Liz Phair Cranberries Jeff Buckley Alanis Morrissette Morrissey Sheryl Crow Green Day Beastie Boys R.E.M. I’m not necessarily a fan of all those artists, but I enjoy that era of Radio Rock much more than the Radio Rock of the ‘80’s.
Amen my brother
RIP. Thanks for the music and the memories.
Rip Eddie
Good.🎶🎵
Ty.like.😊🎵🎶

The '80s were such a great decade to grow up in. Everything was new. From fashion to movies to music, etc. etc. all was kick ass! Punk rock, New wave, even pop was great. Skateboards got wider, mullets, unfortunately became a fad, rollerskating rinks, MTV had new videos for every new song, with no bullshit reality shows, thank God. Remember the first video on MTV? "Video killed the radio star". Seems like most people, younger than my old ass, think it was "Money for nothing" because it starts with, "I want my MTV". I'm rambling on, so Gen X was and is the best generation for everything!!!!!!!
R.I.P. Eddie Money. Gone but never forgotten. All of his songs will never get old and they will live on forever. This song is my most favorite.
What a great collaboration between two legends: Ronnie and Eddie. Great 80's song.
True💯🎶🎼🎵🎼🎵🎶🔊💃💃💃💃
@@kayshawnsimmons6822 Thank you. Great song!!!
As far as legendary status goes: tens for Ronnie, chops for Eddie. He hasn't earned it.
@@heddalee he started in the late '70s, so I think he's earned his fair share.
😊👍
I just learned about the death of Ronnie Spector, who performed with Eddie Money. Her loss will be felt all over the world. God, take her home tonight: To Heaven. She will be missed. Thank you. Rest in peace. 🙏🙏🙏🏻😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
I love listening to this on UA-cam as they play the whole song. On regular radio, they always cut out her signature “nah-nah-nah-nah” at the end the song. Rest in peace Eddie and Ronnie!
RIP to Eddie Money. Unbelievable talent & hitmaker! Can’t believe he’s been gone for almost a year already 😩😩😩
What really?? Damn crazy didn't know that. Rip E Money
Still remember the day he died. Rest in peace Eddie
I hope he got those two tickets to paradise. Great song, great artist.
Hope he did too!! Yes, great song, music, and artist!
😭😭😭😭
This is my jam in the 80's. Hearing her sing was like heaven. Got teary eyes when I found out that she passed away. 🙏 🕊 ☮

RIP Eddie Money and Ronnie Spector. One of my fave songs 🎵 ❤️
The 80s were one of the best decades ever. Eddie Money was a legend, and this was his best song imo
It was THE best decade. Trust me. I was a teenager in the 80's. It was awesome dude.
sorry, but 70's>80's. I listen to a lot of music from both tho
Mines too!! 2021 and still listening ! Rock on!!

Eddie is home now. Home where its safe, sane, loving. He is with his musical heroes and his family. he is home.
You said it, bud.
@@matthewharvey1963 yes he is with Jesus now...however, I really miss him here. I'm glad he is at peace. One of my favorite singers of all time.
