Been in it for three years from 25mg to 50mg niw. Really worried because it hasn't brought my BP down, to the contrarry...it's going up ! The GP keeps increasing the dosage and I can't make her understand the side effects.
My mother is dying of lung cancer now. Shes been on amlodipine and hydrochlorothyazide for years. She had tongue cancer 4 years ago and half her tongue was removed.
I had 2 strokes+2heart attacks in 8.2023. They initially gave it iv during 2nd stroke, an immediately result was 2 heart attacks. I mean he pushed it quickly an I started having chest pains before he reached the hospital room door. Now im afraid of this. I'll stop taking it.

Thats crazy you should look for another doctor! This BP mdd was on a recall previously due to a ingredient causing cancer.

The studies were done with Losartan, or does the implication include all ARBs, like Valsartan also?

Lung cancer mostly comes from Smoking or radon gas coming up from deep in the ground.
Hydrochlorothiazide can cause skin cancer. Amlodipine inhibits apoptosis which can cause cancer.Please do your research.

This drug should be discontinued for its dangerous side effects.
Losartan is poison😮
They torture Lozartan because it is very effective and cheaper than other medicine that doctors prescribe
You are quite right. Losartan has proved quite effective in controlling my blood pressure.
Does your doctor have you take a baby aspirin with it? I'm on 25mg for a month now have bad lower back pain, nasal congestion every evening?
