My grandpa took a teaspoon of baking soda in water every night after dinner, lived well until 89(dying of broken heart of my mom and gram) worked into his 80s, resided in his own home, caring for it as he always did (shoveling, Buffalo winters) all of it.

So many great uses for Baking Soda. My personal favorites are mixing a bit of baking soda and coconut oil for exfoliating my face for a radiant smooth glow and I have been brushing my teeth with Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide for about 30 years. I am 68 and blessed with great health. Dr Berg definitely assists my wellness journey with his knowledge. Happy Sunday everyone 🌹

Dr Berg could comment for help on my husbands issue of taking a shot every 3 months of drug to help control cancer in his colon and prostate. Maybe you know what that would be but hopefully you may know why it diminishes greatly his taste buds so that eating is very much a real problem? If you see this and can reveal how he might have healing if possible a vitamin or mineral is being affected and might be responsible for the lack of taste.?

My friend and I had a ministry of helping people with rides. We rode a fellow to dialysis. He was in his 30s. He looked so very, very awful. He was very, very thin and had really bad coloring. He literally looked like he didn't have long on earth at all. It was so sad.
I had heard somewhere that baking soda, a half teaspoon daily could help kidneys. Almost in passing, I mentioned it to him.
I didn't see him for several months, and then I ran into him at the deli section at the grocery store. He looked the picture of health and vitality. I was so taken back, in a very good way. I could hardly believe that it was actually him. He had filled out and his coloring was very healthy looking. His whole countenance was excellent.
I had completely forgotten that I had told him about baking soda. I asked him what in the world had happened to him to cause him such a marvelous improvement. He smiled and told me that he had done what I had told him. He said that he had been taking a half teaspoon of baking soda everyday.
I haven't seen him since, but he had mentioned that his sister owned a restaurant I sometimes go to. Several years later I went there and asked them how he was doing. They let me know that he had moved away, but that he was doing great!

The true benefit of baking soda is not its ability to alkalize but rather its profound candida crushing properties. It's abilities in this regard are actually documented as being a phenomenon. I was dealing with candida overgrowth in my gut, mouth, and sinuses and was able to restore the health of these microbiomes with not only essential oils such as tea tree and peppermint but also a strong baking soda and water mixture.
My dental hygienist and dentist were astounded at the health of my gums in just one month time.

@@bobbyarora3113 for my gut I laid off eating most sugars and I take oil of peppermint pills, apple cider vinegar pills, and a couple teaspoons of manuka honey always on an empty stomach and with very little water and also oil of oregano pills for 10 days like a round of antibiotics. Then before meals drink about 4 oz of water with a half teaspoon baking soda.
For my mouth I brush my teeth with unrefined coconut oil and I rinse with a solution of 2 oz water, half teaspoon baking soda, 1 tsp avocado oil, 6 drops peppermint oil, three drops tea tree oil and about a half teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt, I swish with that for a couple minutes then I leave it in my mouth for about 10 minutes before I rinse it.
For my sinuses, are using NeilMed Sinus Rinse bottle with their Sinus Rinse packets which are baking soda and salt and once I make the solution I put in about 1/2 teaspoon of avocado oil, or drop peppermint oil and two drops tea tree oil and my sinuses love it.

@@comfortkareem8533 you are most welcome my friend.
When I'm attacking candida overgrowth in the gut, about 20 minutes before every meal, I will drop either an oil of oregano pill, oil of peppermint pill, apple cider vinegar pill, or 2 tsp of manuka honey.
I try to keep all four of these revolving throughout the day, helps keep the bugs from getting used to anything. Also 1/4 to 1/2 tsp baking soda per gallon of distilled water, drink at least a half gallon everyday but drink very little when you take your pills so they're not diluted in the gut.
Then of course in addition to doubling up on probiotics, lay off as many sugars and carbs as possible, get plenty of electrolytes, which I like to get through salad, lots of leafy greens & cucumbers, red bell peppers, mushrooms, etc, and get as great of a variety of fermented foods in your diet as possible, I've actually grown a taste for stir-fried kimchi, it really didn't take much since I love cabbage so much but nonetheless I never seen myself eating kimchi.
Before I start my 10-day cycle of essential oils, ACV, and manuka honey, I like to do a 3 day bone broth fast. It will starve the candida out before blasting them.
I hope this helps, my friend!

You’re thinking of baking powder which can contain aluminum. I checked the labels on both Bobs Red Mill and Arm & Hammer baking soda and each simply say “Ingredient: 100% sodium bicarbonate”.

  • @earthtrighton261
    @earthtrighton261 9 місяців тому +274

Important to know. There is one more thing to add to your list. Sodium bicarbonate is the best treatment I have ever used for my breathing issues. Baking soda saved my life when I got pneumonia from Covid 19.
I was coughing so bad, and my sinuses were completely clogged. I was so scared of going to the hospital because of the pandemic. So I thought I would go to the pharmacy and get some nasal spray. But then I remembered that the more you use nasal spray the faster you get clogged back up. So I thought about making my own nasal spray and I checked for a list of ingredients to make it, but I didn’t have any distilled water. So I thought about what I could do. Then I remembered that my dad was using a dry powder inhaler for his COPD. So at that moment my thought switched from salt to sodium bicarbonate because the fine granules would be easy to breathe in. So I went to my cabinet and grabbed my arm and hammer baking soda, and I put some in the palm of my hand. Then I started with a small pinch of baking soda between my index finger and thumb. Then I sniffed that small pinch one for each nostril and one for my throat, after I did just one treatment I did not have to treat myself again for 5 days. With in one minute of the treatment I was able to blow my nose for the first time in over a week, and I was able to cough up most of the mucus that was stuck in my throat. After doing some research, I found out that sodium bicarbonate removed mucus from the lungs better than saline solution. Also I found out it is important to not accidentally sniff too much at once…. Use small pinches and do two treatments in a row for best results… Results can last weeks and even months… Not Just 12 hours or less. I hope this information helps to save lives…. God Bless America.

Many years ago, there was a story here on YT about an old guy who had memory problems and borderline Alzheimer's. He would always forget where he left his keys, where he parked his car in a parking lot, why he walked into a room to get something and then couldn't remember why he went in there in the 1st place, etc. He talked about making a drink with a half teaspoon of baking soda, 1 cup hot water to dissolve it and a little lemon and honey. He said after a few weeks, he started remembering those things I mentioned above. I don't remember how many times he drank it in a day or if he drank it on an empty stomach or not, I don't know. Something to think about for sure. YT pulled that video quickly after more and more people were watching it. Makes you wonder. (Not medical advice).

Hello, yes. Now, im not saying this is a cure but it worked for me. I cut out all acids from my diet like coffee and also eliminated sugars. When i found out about the baking soda it was over a youtube video of an Italian Doctor that. Said Cancer is nothing more than a bacteria in our body and bacteria cannot live in an alkaline environment and he said how he was curing people with stage 5 cancer with intravenous treatments of baking soda.
I said ro myself, what do i have to loose as all else has failed! I tried it but i was taking a T-spoon in water every morning as a shot cause its very salty in taste and 2 months into it my oncologist said my tumor was shrinking. I continued my dieta and in my mind i really believed it was the baking soda so i continued taking it. 4 months later it was 50% gone, 8 months later there was no sign if the cancer or tumor. What helped is that my oncologist never talked of it as cancer, he said, “we r going to look at it as an inflammation” so whenever we spoke he used inflammation and not cancer… it was mind helping.
So now, every 2 months i do the treatment again just to keep the body alkaline levels high
The lemon and apple cider vinegar helped detox my kidneys and liver and so they say if detoxes your blood as well
      Cancer has not came back

The only healthier version is Kefir, made with grains at home or if you hav access to raw cowsmilk or goat milk (in the US its nearly impossible)you can make raw yogurt. But wen I had SIBO, I could not consume ANY probiotics (any, except cabbage) without getting very sick. I had to get rid of the SIBO first.

I like this video and learned many benefits about baking soda. I already do use it occasionally for stomach or abdominal pain. But I'll only use 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon in 4 ounces of distilled water. It works quickly and you only have to take it once. My only criticism on this video is that you only display a heaping teaspoon of baking soda several times without ever clarifying how much you may use per solution. It would be beneficial if you could address this issue.

I have mentioned this in comments before, and it has basically been ignored, but I think it is important. Not everyone, apparently, reacts the same to apple cider vinegar. I have heard so many times that apple cider vinegar helps acid reflux. gerd, and heartburn. But I have tried it a number of times...sometimes for as long as a week. Every day that I took apple cider vinegar y heartburn and acid reflux got worse than the previous day. It got so unbearable that I just had to stop. It was worse at night when I laid down sleep. Sometimes, my whole chest hurt, and sometimes liguid came up into my mouth from my stomach. Sometimes what came up was mild, and sometimes it was really harsh and burns the back of my throat. If I eat certain acidic foods like tomato based foods, it gets worse. It still happens occasionally, but I have to be very careful what I eat or drink. When it does happen, milk or water with baking soda in it, are the only things that help. ACV actually makes it worse, like I already said. I had to take baking soda in water and drink milk to get any relief or sleep at all. I take vitamin C and vitamin D3, and eat as healthy as I can, and I almost never get sick. The reason I did this is because I have interstitial cystitis and I was afraid to let my bladder be acidic. This past year I’ve been having, nausea, burping, heartburn, constipation and loss of appetite.
When you talked about this issue being associated with the pancreas, it really scared me because my mom died very young of pancreatic cancer. I’m starting to wonder now if taking the baking soda every day for a few years is becoming detrimental to me this past year, I develop my first gallstone , I didn’t have any last year. Both of my parents had their gallbladder removed.
I’m just trying to get my health together the hardest part to deal with is the chronic nausea I haven’t had any baking soda for the last two days since I saw your video and I haven’t had any nausea so fingers crossed but I really thought baking soda was a great thing and it couldn’t be bad but now I’m thinking that I was doing my self harm. I love watching your videos and you are just so informative on all parts of the body. I also love your passion with everything. Thank you for me this video.

Again one dose 45 minutes before exercise and one dose 45 minutes after starting the exercise

Thanks! Is it okay to neutralize the acid in coffee with baking soda. I have two espressos daily and add a knife tip of baking soda to it. In theory it just balances the acid in the coffee and what goes into my stomach has a somewhat neutral PH. Hence it shouldn't cause any issue doing this long-term. Would you agree or am I missing something?

I have MCAS, Multiple Chemical Allergies, and food allergies, so I’m allergic to all toothpastes, detergents, anything with a chemical in it, you name it. I make my own washing soda from baking soda to make laundry and dishwasher detergents. I brush my teeth with baking soda, olive oil, and peppermint EO. Organic everything. Baking soda is literally a Godsend for me. I also make the baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, water rinse that Dr Berg teaches in another video. It takes a while, but it does remove tartar. Can anyone tell me how much baking soda to mix in water for gastritis? I’ve suffered from it since I was 13. And, yes, I think my body hates me🙄

I learned from another nutritionist saying if you eat only mostly protein and low carbs, that your body is forced to go through diuresis. The liver is forced to strip off a nitrogen for fuel and then that nitrogen free floats in the blood stream until it attaches to three molecules of hydrogen (NH3) which is ammonia. So then immediately your body attaches that to another set of molecules which then turns it into urea, which is harmless unlike ammonia. However , to excrete the urea, your body is then forced to go through diuresis which then concentrates those calcium minerals into little balls because of the water loss. So best to stay away from most foods that cause diuresis such as coffee , soda , herbal teas, anything containing caffeine or that causes water loss. And to avoid diets that focus on high protein , low carbs. And baking soda is good for eliminating kidney stones if you already have them.

My dad drank baking soda in water a lot for indigestion. It works for him but it might not be the right thing for somebody else.
I know a lot of people say things like you mentioned about the grandfather who took it and it never gave him any harmful side effects, but the problem is that people actually believe every human organism is the same as every other human organism.
There are literally hundreds of idiosyncrasies in each human organism, so it works for one will not necessarily work for another.
It is the failure to recognize this basic fact that is at the root of so much medical error and even errors in using natural remedies.
People must learn how to listen to their own bodies because every person is different.
One must take into account hundreds of factors.

This video may contain one of the most essential information about the human body, widely ingnored but all people should know!
    For instance:
=Co2 that is essential for transporting oxygen
=The gastric mucosa can be in case of heartburn rather damaged by being paralytic due to all those industrial, complex and huge quantities of food staying there, becoming basic, rather than being acid
=And last not least, the turnaround of the digestive system from acid to basic after passage of the stomach
Dr Berg is so true about it. He didn't 'invent' all this knowledge but is just able to approach it in an unbiased way, not reluctant to change and add better knowledge and moreover, able to explain it well. My wish is that all health professionals put this kind of knowledge into practise. The body is complicated yet there are so many natural remedies available to us, if only we would look a little more deeper into what's happening in the body, rather than looking for a quick solution with a single minded viewpoint.
It also applies for the insulin-glucagon mechanisms and the reaction of the body to prolonged fasting, dr. Berg is often telling us about. If we are able to deal with the recurring pattern of contradictions in our body and complex feedback mechanisms, huge improvents lie ahead of so many nations around the world...
Thank you dr. Berg. And with you all scientists, reseachers and similar health care professionals!

A small amount of bicarbonate soda with apple cider vinegar is great to have just before my large morning coffee, coffee is quite acidic so it lessens the negative effect of this. Also if you have mainly carnivore diet that will be acidic, so apple cider vinegar with bicarbonate soda, will help balance out your PH levels. In fact if you have a little of this often each time you eat or drink meals which are mainly acidic you will also be helping against the effects of insulin resistance. So it’s a really good health hack for your whole health.
