the judge who dismissed the charge should be jailed
Or let him be arrested by a cop like this.
They all work together and are part of the problem why these police officers Go about doing the things that they do. The judge, the prosecutors, and the police officers all work together. The system will never get better if the people who we put in charge doesn't take action to correct the behaviors of these crooked corrupted police officers.
@@Paladin1873I hope he is, and that's not a threat.
The whole judiciary system is rotten as a pear, police, DAs, Judges, the lot is dishonest and corrupt in most cases.
But waite untill he does this to the judges son or daughter then it will be differrent!. Evil judge!
Any "Cop" FIRED from their job should have a permanent ban against them to get another job in law enforcement. PERIOD.
Even a security job at a mall.
They just go to FLA and join desantis brown shit band of thugs! Gonna be a State trooper now! With a raise!
Any who quits during investigation too.
YES sir!
Oddly enough Pennsylvania has a black list of sorts for bad cops. Problem is the only people who can access this black list are department chiefs. It is not accessible to anyone else.
Former Deputy Williams stood over the victim berating him while his supervisor stood there and did nothing. The supervisor should also be indicted for doing nothing.
*Absolutely.*
Create a Federal code to follow like US Military UCMJ "The Uniform Code of Military Justice has Article 93 Failure to report an offence"
Any LEO that witnesses incident and does not report it is an accomplice.

Well that wouldn't do at all... It would nullify the Thin Blue Line, the whole 'one for all and all for one' motto of the Brotherhood. The hidden hand reaches far and goes deep.
And fired too
Don’t we always hear that there’s good cops? Well, where are they when garbage like this pops off? Oh, they remain on the sidelines or lie about what happened to keep their fellow thin blue line member out of trouble.
The supervisor should be charged as an accessory.....
The supervisor needs to be fired too
@twinniedavidson9909
The judge who let him off the first time needs sacked.
And charged also
Yup
Should have immediately place that officer under arrest.
Too old for the girl scouts and only law enforcement would hire them !
Why wasn't the cop charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm? Are cops above the law?
Yes they are

What crimes had the suspect committed by the time thus deputy had him detained?

Oh don't you worry your pretty little head, his pig union and all the other pigs will for sure find a way to defend him
Supervisor should be charged as well. He stood there and did nothing while a crime was being committed
Why didn't the sheriff get questions about that supervisor on scene not doing anything? Technically supervisor in charge of the situation at that point!
$10 says that Sheriff is VERY aware of this deputy’s behavior. He’s just doing damage control because it became public.
That’d be a horrible bet to go against.
its kind of funny that this they hired this guy knowing what he had done in the past, where his actions shouldn't have even allowed him to even get a blockbuster membership but is allowed to be given a badge and a gun and the authority to maim and murder
100% Correct.
Nobody is taking that action 😂
U Are Absolutely Correct, for him to say 99% OF COMPLIANTS are False is BS.
Whoever is wearing the bodycam should be charged too.
He's what the Blue Klux Klan consider a "good KKKop".
cops don't become Psychopaths... Psychopaths become cops. Now, imagine their Home and Personal lives... there is no "off switch".
Yep = Complicit..
Why is he surprised?? Happens all the time ..
Due to conflict of interest, he should have called the chief and requested for a sheriff to come arrest him. With how quick things happened there was no stopping it.
There's a new law that make the supervisor guilty as well, he has a duty to intervene
I agree
If this cop doesn't get at least 10 years in prison, there is no justice.
He got away with failing to report a woman who KILLED her own child because of that choice. NOT certain the LEO will face any jail time!
There is no justice. There is no "if."
This cop should not be allowed to retire or quit. He should be automatically sentence to prison
The only thing more dangerous than a psychopath is a psychopath with a badge and gun
True!
As well as a demented old man serving as President of the United States.
And the badge attracts a lot of them and I'm tired of people pretending it doesn't.
Everyone with a badge and gun is a psychopath.
There's a difference?
Narcissistic people can be just as bad as psychopaths. Think about how many narcissistic cops are out there.
Why wasn't he CRIMINALLY charged with assault?
Because departments CAN do whatever they want and we ALL let it happen FOR DECADES now !!!!!! Do we ALL deserve what we get ??? Damn right we do, they DEPEND on us coward arm chair complainers .....TRUTH, it matters !!!!!
You know why, it’s corruption at work.
Feds can't do that; it is up to the locals as assault is a state crime. And if the locals were willing to charge him the feds would not have become involved.

Petty excuse of a man who hides behind a badge.
“99.5% of officer complaints are false”
More like “I can sweep 99.5% of complaints under the rug, but this one would have jeopardized my reelection”
and it's also just plain bs, no one goes through all that trouble for nothing, my local police make it a huge hassle to get a complaint form, especially when you try to video document yourself obtaining it to show everyone how much trouble they make it.
it's just plain stupid to bring up this "statistic" when you are at this kind of meeting. it's like instead of apologizing and stating what happened, you are just continuing to push your dumb narrative
No kidding.
I picked that up right away too, 99.5% of complaints are denied after they investigated themselves and found no wrong doing.
Yup
Yes that is the truly funny thing. We investigated all the complaints against us and they were all invalid.
What other profession gets to evaluate themselves? With the power we give them they need to answer to someone other than themselves.
When the sheriff says 99.5 % of complaints are false he means they are able to deny and cover up 99% of them.
nah, probably cover up 20% of them.
That's what I was thinking. Just a deflection. Sherrif and supervisor need to be scrutinized a lot closer.
1 Ringy Dingy......2 Ringy Dingy....."You just called the (Fill In Your) Department, We investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing. This is a recording. Have a nice day."
That's right. Nobody believes that 99.5%, and we also don't believe the "I was utterly shocked and appalled" ...
That statement is false. He should have to prove that statement.
"I was shocked and appalled" AFTER HIRING A FIRED COP who then re-offended....
oh wow, didn't see that coming.
No background check for cops? Typical
The Supervisor should be charged too
I agree
Yup. If the Supervisor had arrested the Deputy on the spot, fine. But he didn't, so he's an accomplice.

Aggravated battery.
Kinda like law doesn't apply to cops only policy that isn't law.

@@bobbyrayvictory6905 *up to* 30 years. Even if convicted, he'll get a slap on the wrist. If you charge all applicable crimes, he's much more likely to actually get real time. It'll all be served congruently anyways, so it's not really a problem to pile on the charges
The worst part is? If the victim gets a settlement, we the taxpayers pay for it not this Deputy or the department.
Enough is enough!
That is not the worst part. Lawsuit settlements are calculated in their budget. The worst part is that they get fired from one department and drive down the road and get a job at another department.
The Supervisor needs charges as well. He was part of the falsified police report.
99.5 % of complaints are FALSE?!??
NO
MORE THAN LIKELY
99.5% of 'complaints'
End with them investigating THEMSELVES and finding NO WRONG DOING
AMEN !
My thoughts exactly. No way that’s true. No. Way.
Well, if it is within policy to pistol whip citizens then it could be honestly said that a complaint based on such an incident was false because the officer did everything within policy.
Well, yes and no.
The percentage number is VERY debatable on what percentage of complaints are and aren't valid complaints. What isn't debatable is that both exist; both valid and invalid complaints.
Wrote a rich guy a ticket and when he started the "do you know who I am" schtick you said, "I don't care here's your ticket"? Complaint. Valid? No. And it is the very reason that I had a Lt say that if you weren't getting complaints you weren't doing your job.
As for the valid complaints? You are correct; in way too many instances are not even investigated because the top brass knows what is happening, which officers are doing it, and it is condoned behavior. Thus, the officers are protected until a lawsuit is filed, evidence provided, it hits major news outlets, and then, like in this case, you get the top brass proclaiming how shocked... SHOCKED... they are that this happened at their department by one of their officers.
Also, completely irrelevant to the matter at hand. It's like charging someone with murder and the accused getting up on the podium and mentioning most of his friends and family don't usually kill people.
“99% of complaints are false” but he hired guys with a track record of breaking the rules. What a joke of a sherif. We need to hold these people accountable
Yes, 99.5% of the allegations are false. How can that be you ask? Because they investigate themselves and deem that there was no wrong doing.
honestly that prior case sounds like bullshit to me. He got blamed because he didn't report the mother for child abuse/neglect when she was driving with drugs? I'd like to know more about what he did do but I think reporting her for child abuse would be an extreme option that should be avoided in most cases. arresting her for possession/dui and allowing a relative to pick up the kid would be the more reasonable thing to do there, imo.
99.5% of the time 99.5% is totally made up
@@dummkompf It's more "child endangerment" but I've seen a few DUI videos where if they have kids in the car it's both an extra charge and it gets reported to DFS. Mandatory. I think there were videos out of Florida as well.
to be fair, most complaints go like this:
- guy gets pulled over for doing 7 over
- guy gets a ticket
- guy gets mad at the cop
- guy calls the non emergency line to complain
- supervisor sees it and is like "fine"
- IA watches the body camera
- IA says "literally nothing happened.
rarely did someone do something wrong and even more rarely did someone do something severe
that being said:
- IA should immediately recuse to state or federal authority if it's actually severe (like they did in this case)
- police should have a federally unified IA system so 1. Terminations and there reasons are known across the country (because they're easy to hide, so people can get rehired easily) 2. So those aforementioned higher agencies can immediately take over a case
Punk move by the sheriff, he crowded the guy then assaulted him for bumping into him.

What really disgusts me above this sheriff is his 99.5% made up statistics on false complaints. Literally accusing the community of lying.
He should think about this stat. 100% of the time a cop witnesses the brutality of another cop they just stand there or participate.

So he's shocked and appalled by the actions of his deputy? He knew why his deputy was fired . But hired him anyway. Regardless of the safety of the citizens. So, what about the supervisor who did nothing at all to correct this Dirty Harry wannabee.
@Tim45-rs6xzRaylon would think this guy is an ahole.
Who hit the nail on the head my friend. The problem and the solution are the same thing. In the armed services when a private screws up his Sergeant is in trouble. When a sergeant screws up his Lieutenant is in trouble. This is proper chain of command. In our police departments when an officer screws up it is that officer and only that officer held responsible, this is a breakdown in the chain of command Siri is the solution to these problems start holding the commanding officers responsible for those in their command.
He faces 30 years wont be shocked if he even serves 30 hours
It will be just some extra training after all is said and done. Ive seen this movie before.
Oh, he’s going to do time, the charges are from the feds, it’s not like local/state sentencing, where they can do what you’re suggesting. He may take a plea deal for a lot less than 30 years, but he won’t be wiggling out of it. The feds don’t miss and there’s no parole. Several years ago, the police chief got 6 months for mortgage fraud, a mayor got a year or two for campaign finance fraud. This is violent, he’s going away for a while and probably won’t be a cop again, he’ll probably be lucky if he can find a job at all.

@ghostman3344 the feds case reinforces the civil suit that pays the actual VICTIM for the abuse, civil rights violations or injuries. If his jaw was broken, he was concussed or died then he would have those things as part of a police brutality case. So, no. The feds case doesn't end it.
@@ghostman3344 I'd still want to prosecute myself as well. I'd take him for every cent.
@KirkLee1983 , You don't have the power of the city or federal government to prosecute...All you can do is sue...
