Almost all drivers today step on the brake pedal before turning on the ignition and cranking the starter. Informative video though on what you can do with a relay. 😃
Exactly my thought. This would not stop a thief, but it would stop a small child who can't sit in the seat and reach the peddle. It is a great idea, but the wrong circuit.
This is a clever variation on the typical single pole single throw toggle switch hidden somewhere under the dash. May I suggest; however, not using the brake circuit as a potential car thief just might be the one who is in the habit of putting his foot down on the brake pedal before turning the key to start the engine.
I tend to step on the brake before turning the ignition anyway. I’m used to it from being in cars with push button starters that require you to press the brake to start it
Good vid. Back in 2002 I bought an Acura Integra with a bad engine. Once I got another engine in it, I couldn’t figure out why the starter wouldn’t spin. After about a 20 minutes I found a hidden relay under the dash and the control side was connected to the headlight switch. 🔦🏎
Definitely a good idea to notate the kill switch install in the "notes" section at the end of the owner's manual. A thief is not going to look in the manual to see if you wrote that down, but when you sell the car or dispose of it some other way you can just say "Hey, the kill switch info is in the manual notes in case you need it in the future."
It might sound strange, but using the brake switch is not the best option. Personally I'm 99,% stick shift guy. But even the few automatic I drive. They all oblige to press the brake pedal to start the vehicle. With that said several with manual gearbox demand the same! So I can tell you, that the first reaction entering a car. That I intend to start, is pressing the brake and clutch! It's a second nature... I suggest something way more discreet. A button on the dash in plain sight! For the same function. There's tons of aftermarket buttons. With symbols of pretty much anything. From heated seats, to fog lights. Get a momentary switch, of your choice and that will be a "bitch" to locate by a stranger. I've had a fluke meter for years in fact I have a coupla of them. They measure everything... ohms, capacitance, diodes, volts, amps. This is knowledge that will help you throughout life not just when you're young. BTW Fluke (115 model) meters are pricey but they're forever they're an "instrument" not a piece of shit.
Best and easiest explanation I've seen about relays and their purpose.......Love the idea of the brakelight trigger! Wanting to do this with RFID tag system to use as a starter kill.

Using the brake pedal is stupid. High beams is a much better idea. But an even better method is the one I described above. That way you don't even need an extra relay just one more thing to break as he's not installing a capacitor across those contacts. Yeah one needs to place a 0.1ufd across those contacts.
Great info very useful, but if your relay is wired to your brakes everytime you use your brakes the relay is activated which is fine nothing will happen but when i drive i constantly use my brakes. so with this setup the relay will be switching on/ off a lot, still not a problem, but that means that the relay will wear out faster( i know relays last a long time) so maybe a diferent power source would be better (so you're not left stranded). I.e. something that is not constantly used all the time. Maybe a switch between both relays? Or get power from glove box light? Anyways Awesome vid love it. Just my two pesos

That combined with a small normally open pushbutton switch hidden under the left front of the drivers seat makes it hard to figure out for someone else. Got to have the seatbelt fastened, reach under the edge of the seat, push the button and then turn the key.

Good Video, with useful information... Personally I just go under the hood and pull the Fuel Pump or Starter relay from the fuse box and stick it in my pocket. Chances are a thief is not going to be walking around with a relay for your specific vehicle in their pocket. Like the idea about the curious kids. A combo wiring might be good (Foot on the brake with the headlights on) too.
Standard automotive relays and relays that can be RF actuated with a key fob, for example, are readily available, but with all kill switches, I have dependability concerns. Wiring a kill switch into any run circuit, such as a fuel pump, will immobilize the vehicle, but failure of a low quality switch or relay or a poor connection could either leave you stranded or even shut your engine down while driving in motion. High quality, military grade switches are available for $25 to $50 dollars, rather than $5 bucks, but I'm not sure where an equal quality relay can be sourced. I would also solder all electrical connections and epoxy pot them to insure their attachment and prevent corrosion from ever occurring. This is a circuit that need to be bullet proof. I'd be interested to hear others feelings regarding reliability and/or sources for high quality relays.
There are lots of different types of relays used in industrial controls so that might give you a good starting point for research. The form factors might be different since many are designed to be mounted in control panels but a relay is still a relay. Also I would avoid soldering any connections. It might seem counter intuitive but even NASA recommends crimping over soldering wires since crimping has proven over decades to be an efficient and highly reliable method to assemble and terminate conductors, and typically provides a stronger, more reliable termination. I recommend Raychem sealed environmental butt splices for connecting wires. If they are good enough for airplanes then they should be good enough for your vehicle.
@@josephphillips865 I found good high power relays made my both Honeywell and Omron, which are classed with military and aviation certification and are a similar format. Note that you can also wire to a relay socket and simply plug the relay into the socket. A spare relay in the glove box will allow a quick swap if a relay failure were to occur. There are numerous other relays which are more heavy duty, since they are rated to handle currents up to 200 amps, which are typically used for power winches and snow plow controls. Yes, there is controversy between crimping and soldering connections. Soldering provides a superior bond between the wire and terminals, but due to its' brittle nature, vibration and wire movement can cause failure. If flex and vibration are present, the crimped connection would be preferred. Depends on the mounting situation.
Thanks to this video did two kill switches on my 88 Silverado and also my 06 Silverado will be doing one on my freightliner and also my dads international
I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, show this also to thy servant: whether after death, as soon as every one of us yields up his soul, we shall be kept in rest until those times come when thou wilt renew the creation, or whether we shall be tormented at once?" 76 He answered me and said, "I will show you that also, but do not be associated with those who have shown scorn, nor number yourself among those who are tormented. 77 For you have a treasure of works laid up with the Most High; but it will not be shown to you until the last times. 78 Now, concerning death, the teaching is: When the decisive decree has gone forth from the Most High that a man shall die, as the spirit leaves the body to return again to him who gave it, first of all it adores the glory of the Most High. 79 And if it is one of those who have shown scorn and have not kept the way of the Most High, and who have despised his law, and who have hated those who fear the Most High -- 80 such spirits shall not enter into habitations, but shall immediately wander about in torments, ever grieving and sad, in seven ways. 81 The first way, because they have scorned the law of the Most High. 82 The second way, because they cannot now make a good repentance that they may live. 83 The third way, they shall see the reward laid up for those who have trusted the covenants of the Most High. 84 The fourth way, they shall consider the torment laid up for themselves in the last days. 85 The fifth way, they shall see how the habitations of the others are guarded by angels in profound quiet. 86 The sixth way, they shall see how some of them will pass over into torments. 87 The seventh way, which is worse than all the ways that have been mentioned, because they shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame, and shall wither with fear at seeing the glory of the Most High before whom they sinned while they were alive, and before whom they are to be judged in the last times. 88 "Now this is the order of those who have kept the ways of the Most High, when they shall be separated from their mortal body. 89 During the time that they lived in it, they laboriously served the Most High, and withstood danger every hour, that they might keep the law of the Lawgiver perfectly. 90 Therefore this is the teaching concerning them: 91 First of all, they shall see with great joy the glory of him who receives them, for they shall have rest in seven orders. 92 The first order, because they have striven with great effort to overcome the evil thought which was formed with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death. 93 The second order, because they see the perplexity in which the souls of the unrighteous wander, and the punishment that awaits them. 94 The third order, they see the witness which he who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive they kept the law which was given them in trust. 95 The fourth order, they understand the rest which they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days. 96 The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible, and shall inherit what is to come; and besides they see the straits and toil from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they are to receive and enjoy in immortality. 97 The sixth order, when it is shown to them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from then on. 98 The seventh order, which is greater than all that have been mentioned, because they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they hasten to behold the face of him whom they served in life and from whom they are to receive their reward when glorified. 99 This is the order of the souls of the righteous, as henceforth is announced; and the aforesaid are the ways of torment which those who would not give heed shall suffer hereafter." 100 I answered and said, "Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?" 101 He said to me, "They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations." 102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. Just as now a father does not send his son, or a son his father, or a master his servant, or a friend his dearest friend, to be ill or sleep or eat or be healed in his stead, 105 so no one shall ever pray for another on that day, neither shall any one lay a burden on another; for then every one shall bear his own righteousness and unrighteousness." .....2 Esdras 7:75 //////////////
Thanks for video, but nowadays, almost all vehicles comes with that already, i would recommend connecting grounded black wire that connects starter motor solenoid to toggle kill-switch hidden.
Yo I’m in Phoenix I actually just recently started working for firestone as a maintenance Tech but they recently moved me up to a C tech I’ve been trying to buy all the tools I can but they can be expensive if you need proof I can send you pictures of my Cintas uniforms tomorrow I really appreciated your videos they’ve helped me feel more confident in what I’m doing every day so thank you even if I don’t win I just want you to know I appreciate your vids
Homie Hektor dude you replying means so much thank you and crap I didn’t listen to that I heard az and I thought holy crap you might be in the same region as me email me if you have time I have a lot of questions being an employee here notice97@live.com
Thanks to your video, I learned how to wire up a relay kill switch. But I decided I'd go one step more-- a two relay immobilizer AND a kill switch for my theft-magnet Accord. I tapped into the clutch safety switch (you have to hold the clutch in for the car to start.) So now I have a hidden kill switch which acts like the clutch safety switch. But the real magic is in the two relays-- they are set up in a circuit so a momentary push button energizes the relays, which then allows the fuel pump to run. When the car is turned off, the circuit opens and the fuel pump won't run. So secret switch one = allows starter to turn over, but secret switch two = allows fuel pump to activate. Hopefully this keeps the thieving bastards from boosting this car.
@Charlie-lx9mg yes, it's considered a safety feature. But now to start my car, you must push in the clutch AND activate the hidden switch, on the same circuit. If the switch is not on, the car acts like you didn't push in the clutch. And then there is the secret fuel pump switch....
Cool video have older truck was thinking of doing same with cigarette lighter wont start unless you push in lighter. Grew up in New Mexico got a kick out of chingadera
Yeah you rewire the ignition through the lighter. Don't use the original 12 out to ignition or if the wire is always hot you can create a battery drain if you forget
I think its not a good idea to use a relay on the brake switch.coz youre subjecting the relay contact switch to constant on and off during driving and braking..thus the relay contact will wear out fast.you could have use a simple on/off switch going to ignition/ starter wire..
Dam I should of read more comments. I posted the same comment, yeah a switch would not be a bad idea. Or maybe a dome light or glove box light. But yeah right over target.
@@etulosbaakdov1756: Chris Fix killer switch is easier, and faster to install, and best of all, it really works. I installed in my car, somebody tried to steal it once, but failed.
So after it's all wired up is your horn supposed to go beep beep when you open the glove box? Because my radio is on but my wipers are blinking, send help!
When you driving in a city (so you step on the brakes often) then every time you will hear the ''click" from the relay? I wonder after few months or a year (and numerus clicks) relay will still working?
I thought all modern cars need to press the brake in order to start the ignition. I guess maybe yours are a very old car which you don't need to depress the brake to start? For my case it's simple, I put a kill switch in between the brake light switch. So when i activate the kill switch even if I depress the brake the car won't start. And when I Off the kill switch and depress the brake than the car will start.
Muy buen video homie, a question? What will happen after when the car is running and you step on the brake pedal,? The relay is going to click everytime de pedal is push, ? Thank you hektor, happy new year 2020 to you and your family, from your vecino .
This was a how to video for concept. If you are smart enough to see the safety flaw then you should know what to change to make it actually a theft prevention hack
Man great video !!!!! I don't know how I never thought of this . But your the genius for thinking of it . And brakes is the way to go. Most if not all cars now a days. You must step on the breaks to shift into drive . Even stander cars and trucks . I suggest to solder the connections to the relay.
Bro, thank you much for showing this and I would really love your help in building one kill switch that’s gonna be activated after your started your vehicle, I mean that if you get jumped in the street and get you out of your vehicle, the kill switch will trigger and the vehicle will shut down. Really hope to get in touch with you for more details. Thanks
Great info, I’m looking for a time delayed switch that would allow the thief to start the vehicle get moving and then the car would die if the switch is not bypassed. I saw one about 20 years ago worked well. You would start your car as normal hit the bypass within 20 seconds and continue driving. If the by pass was not activated the vehicle would die. I guess it was designed so the person would get into a lane of traffic when the car died to attract attention..would this be possible as a DIY???
In this design the delayed signal would power a relay that you feed the ignition power wire to pins in the normally closed option. When timer kicks it energizes the relay opening the circuit mimicking turning the key off. This could be in addition to a switch to allow start, but not necessary. My father used the cig lighter to complete the ignition circuit. You could crank dith no run unless lighter was pushed in. Lighter didn't function and it was before we were charging a phone from there too
Great tutorial. Finished mine today, instead of the ignition I used the much smaller neutral safety switch wire and a light. Just be careful the lights dont burn out, then the circuit is dead and you cant start your car
What we need now is a device that will sense the the car's activation frequence (push buttons) if its not exactly right or maybe too strong and deactivate the crank and fuel pump circuit.
Yo hektor, could u make a video about broken or rounded bolts u encounter at the shop and how to stay efficient when you deal with them? Thanks bro love the vids.
Hektor, I'd go back and tell people to never use those splice connecters, EVER!! They are the leading cause of wiring issues in DIY cars. I owned and operated 2 shops in Upstate NY. and those junk splices were the cause of very many shorts and no tail light tickets and the cost of having me find and repair their mistakes...... There are FAR BETTER ways to make a splice and THAT is what you should be teaching!!!
@@revit4909 Well, to start off, there are many cars that now have terminal blocks that you can simply add wiring to. Often these wires are for the trailer brakes. Also you can remove some of the harness protective tape and cut the wire you need and rejoin it with the addition of the new wire needed. The best way to make this joint is to solder it and protect the joint with shrink tubing. There are more technical ways also, but they require some specialty tools and additional pins. Do a search on soldering automotive wiring. It's all in the UA-cam-VERSE!!! lol...
So I have questions?? 1- doesn’t everybody step on the brake to start a car I feel like you would cuase you have to step on the brake to shift anyway or at least I do ? 2- can you install this while also having an alarm ?
Or, you can break into the car, drill out the ignition cylinder, step on the brake, and turn the ignition with a screwdriver. If you have more time, you can cut the wires off the ignition cylinder and short the proper ones to power and a quick tap of that yellow wire will crank the engine. Using the brake light as a safety switch for young kids is fine, but most people are taught to step on the brake whenever you crank the engine and start a vehicle as a basic safety precaution. That means criminals likely have that habit too. If they do that, they wouldn't ever know this kill switch is installed because it wouldn't appear to do anything.
I have 2012 BMW 528i Xdrive for my son to take to the college, think about install a fuel pump kill switch, I just installed one for my other son, his 2013 Hyundai sonata got stolen, recovered with $6500 damage, I am assume the ideal is the same, the fuel pump are all at back seat close to the gasoline trunk, my question to you is did you installed on your bmw? did you cut one wire with what color? is that green with what color wire? Thanks Frank
Frank just get a nice modern cobra security system . They communicate with cell phone and can be wired up to windows and sunroof to do cool stuff like luxury cars. I don't have any faith in you messing with BMW wiring
Whats the first thing you do when you get in a car and try to start it. Put your foot on the brake pedal and start the car. so it is not really a kill switch.
Nope. Now each time you hit your brakes you are cycling a circuit that was only cycled on starting your vehicle. The engineers did not design system to cycle on hundreds a time a day. This may work if the wire is designed to take long periods of 12 volts... A hidden button would have been better, a press and release button. Again, when you are at a long stop light, you may overheat that wiring.
So, is this almost the same as using a momentary Switch? Like, you splice in an open-circuit button into the Starter line, hold the button while you start the car, and then it's safe to let go of the button. It might not be as hidden as the relay system, but maybe it's good to have it visible. Make thieves think "there's at least one kill mod on this car, maybe there are more" (using two or more secret buttons/switches) might make it seem "too crazy, not worth stealing." Bonus points if you have one switch easily visible (it doesn't even have to work) and then have the real button(s) hidden somewhere else.

Great easy to the point and very professional explanation of the job is very perfect I love thank you Sir
92 The first order, because they have striven with great effort to overcome the evil thought which was formed with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death. 93 The second order, because they see the perplexity in which the souls of the unrighteous wander, and the punishment that awaits them. 94 The third order, they see the witness which he who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive they kept the law which was given them in trust. 95 The fourth order, they understand the rest which they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days. 96 The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible, and shall inherit what is to come;
and besides they see the straits and toil from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they are to receive and enjoy in immortality.
99 This is the order of the souls of the righteous, as henceforth is announced; and the aforesaid are the ways of torment which those who would not give heed shall suffer hereafter." 100 I answered and said, "Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?" 101 He said to me, "They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations."
102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. Just as now a father does not send his son, or a son his father, or a master his servant, or a friend his dearest friend, to be ill or sleep or eat or be healed in his stead, 105 so no one shall ever pray for another on that day, neither shall any one lay a burden on another; for then every one shall bear his own righteousness and unrighteousness." .....2 Esdras 7:75

Ian .Thomas it’s a random pick Homie, keep working, keep moving up, never stop learning 😎
Homie Hektor dude you replying means so much thank you and crap I didn’t listen to that I heard az and I thought holy crap you might be in the same region as me email me if you have time I have a lot of questions being an employee here notice97@live.com
I am gonna need pictures. You gotta be holding your I D and that days newspaper
Thanks to your video, I learned how to wire up a relay kill switch. But I decided I'd go one step more-- a two relay immobilizer AND a kill switch for my theft-magnet Accord. I tapped into the clutch safety switch (you have to hold the clutch in for the car to start.)
So now I have a hidden kill switch which acts like the clutch safety switch.
Clutch? Is it manual transmission? Don’t you have to step on the clutch to turn on any manual transmission car lmao how is that a safety lock
@Charlie-lx9mg yes, it's considered a safety feature. But now to start my car, you must push in the clutch AND activate the hidden switch, on the same circuit. If the switch is not on, the car acts like you didn't push in the clutch. And then there is the secret fuel pump switch....
@@dmjole ahh I see. So it’s a two way activator. Like an AND gate circuit
I would put a toggle switch on the yellow wire! The one that's going to the starter relay I think! And hide it somewhere!! Much easier!
Cool video have older truck was thinking of doing same with cigarette lighter wont start unless you push in lighter. Grew up in New Mexico got a kick out of chingadera
Lou Fresquez try it out, let me know how it goes 🤙🏼
Yeah you rewire the ignition through the lighter. Don't use the original 12 out to ignition or if the wire is always hot you can create a battery drain if you forget
"This little chingadera..." AUTO SUBSCRIBED! 🤣
Ooh that's how you do it it's a lot help watching this video I think ,I just ran into a problem like that with my 2001 impala
Good video. But, alot of people like myself push on the brake when you start the car. I dont think it would deter thieves if that's your intent.
The brake pedal is an example. Gotta get creative! I would have it relay to the kid lock switch so holding that while starting would let car start
@@pouncerminned863 yeah the rear window enable button is great on 4 door sedans
Brilliant! Nobody steps on the break before they try starting a car.
Brake.
Brilliant! Nobody gets creative before they talk shit on an example
Homie, dude You did a good job, I liked the concept, right on!
So after it's all wired up is your horn supposed to go beep beep when you open the glove box? Because my radio is on but my wipers are blinking, send help!
5ociopathic Ha! Good one 👍🏼
Love you man. Learned so much alrdy.. thnx for taking the time to explain everything so detailed 😊❤
Dude, i happen to always press on a brake when i start XD
My truck won't start unless I press on the breaks 😭
I would put it on the blinkers

Hektooooooooooooor you’re a genius.
Keep up the good work homie, love what your doing.
Zacary Munoz appreciate you bro 🙏🏼
Hell yeah, something I can use for my personal use 👀
Muy buen video homie, a question? What will happen after when the car is running and you step on the brake pedal,? The relay is going to click everytime de pedal is push, ? Thank you hektor, happy new year 2020 to you and your family, from your vecino .
Yes it will activate every time the brake pedal is pushed and it will stay on as long as the pedal is held down.
So if a thief gets in your car and steps on the brake to start the car like you're supposed to - it will start?
If he has my keys, then yes 👍🏼
This was a how to video for concept. If you are smart enough to see the safety flaw then you should know what to change to make it actually a theft prevention hack
No entiendo del kill switch, but I love you 😘💕❤️
😂😂👍
doesnt everybody step on the brake when they start their car out of habit?
Yes
Man great video !!!!! I don't know how I never thought of this . But your the genius for thinking of it . And brakes is the way to go. Most if not all cars now a days. You must step on the breaks to shift into drive . Even stander cars and trucks . I suggest to solder the connections to the relay.
Why solder? Every connection is push on in car already?
Outstanding work, and a good follow-up.
There are time delay boxes for power control builds.
Lighter didn't function and it was before we were charging a phone from there too
Great idea; thanks for all your knowledge Sir!
Good job thanks for sharing your knowledge
Thanks. Using a switch already on the car as a kill switch. You don't have to worry about the thief finding your switch.
“Chingadera”, is that a technical term? 🤣🤣 Thanks for the creative ideas. I subscribed.
That was a very good video. Thanks for posting.
Great idea for my manual mustang. Thanks homie.
Great tutorial. Finished mine today, instead of the ignition I used the much smaller neutral safety switch wire and a light. Just be careful the lights dont burn out, then the circuit is dead and you cant start your car
Yep, subscribed. This is solid content!
You beat me to it, was just gonna comment the same thing! T taps are garbage!
What can I use instead of that?
@@revit4909 Well, to start off, there are many cars that now have terminal blocks that you can simply add wiring to. Often these wires are for the trailer brakes. Also you can remove some of the harness protective tape and cut the wire you need and rejoin it with the addition of the new wire needed. The best way to make this joint is to solder it and protect the joint with shrink tubing. There are more technical ways also, but they require some specialty tools and additional pins. Do a search on soldering automotive wiring. It's all in the UA-cam-VERSE!!! lol...
I don't know what I did wrong but now every time I step on my brake pedal my dog barks.
I want to get into the automotive industry but I have no experience but I am eager to learn, but no shop is willing to give me a shot
Strafe Kills keep applying until you get hired, then you live up, learn more, and be more 👊🏼
Strafe Kills hope you will find someone give you an opportunity just don’t give up
Homie Hektor another factor is that I don’t have a SSN so I really don’t know where to apply to,
Strafe Kills apply at independent shops, mom and pop shops. They’ll pay you cash most of the time.
Homie Hektor thanks for the advice bro, keep making videos they are entertaining
can you please do this for modern SUV or car? Fob version with mass electronics all over the place.
If you hooked to your coil circuit, you would need power to the rely all the time, correct?
Can you do the same thing with a switch on the relay power wire?
Chad Melancon Yeah
So I have questions?? 1- doesn’t everybody step on the brake to start a car I feel like you would cuase you have to step on the brake to shift anyway or at least I do ? 2- can you install this while also having an alarm ?
My thoughts exactly
Im a legend in my own mind. Boom
So this means if I have YOUR key, i can enter YOUR vehicle, stick the key in the ignition, start it, an steal it just by stepping on the brake...
manuel rodriquez yeah, safety first 👍🏼
Or, you can break into the car, drill out the ignition cylinder, step on the brake, and turn the ignition with a screwdriver. If they do that, they wouldn't ever know this kill switch is installed because it wouldn't appear to do anything.
very slick ~ thanks hektor 🎉
Thank you great information.
Thanks
Frank
Frank just get a nice modern cobra security system . They communicate with cell phone and can be wired up to windows and sunroof to do cool stuff like luxury cars. I don't have any faith in you messing with BMW wiring
Whats the first thing you do when you get in a car and try to start it. Put your foot on the brake pedal and start the car. so it is not really a kill switch.
Your kids are gonna have to watch your UA-cam videos before they steal your car to go hang out with their friends in high school. 😉
The only issue is - this wiring must be done 100%, you don't want your car to break down on the open road due to bad connections "you yourself made".
Awesome info greatly Appreciated 👍🏽
Heeeeeectoooooor crankin em out like disney+!!👊👑
Tu video esta de kea ese, del uno al dies te doy un 10 KEEP ON TRUCKING.....
Great Video My Homie Thanks for sharing..
Or simply find the hot wire on the Starter Fuse and cut it, run a kill toggle switch.
Nice, like that relay switch 👨🔧👍
Really good tips
It has a chengadera! 🤔 I’m in!
Make thieves think "there's at least one kill mod on this car, maybe there are more" (using two or more secret buttons/switches) might make it seem "too crazy, not worth stealing."
Bonus points if you have one switch easily visible (it doesn't even have to work) and then have the real button(s) hidden somewhere else.
