You seem like such a nice person to be around, I stay subscribed because of that, because of how real of a person you allow yourself to be on camera. That is pretty rare on here.
That's so insanely nice of you to say. I try my best to be nice, but I'm sure I have my days. I'm glad I come off as authentic because I am only me and unable to be anything else lol
N64 is probably my favorite console of all time. Ot has extremely nostalgic memories for me. It's the first console Drache and I played together when we started dating and we played through a few games on it, namely the Zelda series. He knew I liked Mario Kart and got it for me at that old pawn shop Lebanon. O still have it, it still works, and every now and again I try to break it put to play with it. I agree, it's the hardest to emulate. Theres always a time delay and somehow makes it less fun. I also wish we could go back to those sleepover days and game nights. Truly some of the greatest experiences.
I think I was maybe 8yrs old when around Christmas time my parents said we cant afford to buy video games. I accepted the disappointment and expected another tiger handheld or something. They took me to an indoor flea market on Christmas eve and bought me a preowned n64 and NBA In The Zone '98 (only game we could afford). I couldnt believe it and cried all the way back home. I think I spent hours just looking at the box before i actually played. I played it so much i remembered most the players names and even started watching basketball. The library hasnt aged well but there are definitely some gems. Goated console in my book.
Friends memories are where it's at in gaming. You nailed it on what people think when they hear Mario Kart BTW. Still love old gaming magazines and strategy guides. Enjoyed the fun facts--grow that gray matter!! Also, I need to get me one of those MP gloves. 😂
@@samanthaazira In that case, if you're interested, I have these SUPER rare Nintendo gloves. They don't have any markings, but, ah, trust me. Shall we start at....oh, 5k?
The N64 was a big deal for us back in the day. Nintendo's stance against piracy and open defiance towards emerging disc media made it a very unique and campy system. I remember seeing my brother starting up Ocarina of Time and trying to figure out the controls and then walking in one day months later to see him riding a horse while aiming and firing arrows with great precision. Some of my favorite games for the system are Rogue Squadron, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Jet Force Gemini, Doom 64, Sin & Punishment, Goldeneye, Ridge Racer (yes, I bought it just for the box), Rush Extreme Racing (The stunt track is worth the game), Majora's Mask, Armorines, Shadows of the Empire, too many to name them all. I still play it regularly and was quite surprised at how much my kids love the system. They like Mario 64, Glover, Smash Bros, Diddy Kong Racing. My son loves Doom 64 (he's just a Doom nut, though). Now I have an SDCard cartridge mixed in with all my old cartridges that can also play NES ROMS on the system which is convenient and fun. I used to have the Tri-Star converter long ago. Snapping off the little region tabs on each side of the cartridge slot makes the US system able to play all the Japanese games which is neat. I've always been a Sega fanboy but the N64 is one of my favorite systems regardless.
The N64 is second only to the SNES in my book. It's the best multiplayer experience of the generation and outside of the brown heavy games like Ocarina and 007 the color palette is bright and fun and it just makes you want to stick around.
N64 is my favorite consoles and the console I started collecting for. I have about 95 carts. I was lucky enough to have a best friend and uncle that had a n64 so I played it alot at launch and have nothing but amazing memories. The console started my love of atlus games and introduced me to conker which is still in my opinion one of the top 5 games on that console. The controller sux though not gonna argue there lol
The hori pad is cool but not great for big hands lol. The n64 gets so much shade but it was such a kick ass co op console. Also paper mario is one of my all time favorite titles. Also the n64 was my frist harvest moon game I ever played.
I have an Everdrive in case I want to review something I don't have, but I still collect the ones I like. I think it's still affordable to collect for the system right now.
Yea some are going up but I think overall compared to some other consoles I agree it's mostly affordable. Ever drives are cool I have never jumped on one though.
I have maybe eight cartridges.. I've just really never had much love for Ninteno. I was a Sega kid back in the day and now I'm more of a PlayStation guy.

She is genuinely a wonderful person. Who you see is who she is ❤️ she's truly a blast to spend time with.
N64 is top tier! Always will be my favorite! Great video.
I love it too, so many great memories.

Fantastic video Sam! Loved everything about this. I can tell you're really passionate about the N64 just by how you talk about it.
Yea I just wish it aged better lol
I want Indiana Jones, Daikatana, Xeno Crisis and Nightmare Creatures.
That's a good list

From what I heard they were just generic gloves with no nintendo markings which sucks

I do still collect for the 64 although not as much these days but I still love the system and its games! Very cool facts and great video Sam!
Thanks 😊
My iconic console 👍🙂❤️
One of my favorites 😍
I have a lot of Nintendo 64 games. I like my Super 64 cartridge also.
Such a fun console

I love couch co op with it and still do. It really was a special and unique console.

@samanthaazira Oh yeah for sure. Some of the more general stuff to play isn't too bad. But I agree, it's definitely not getting cheaper. Great vid!

I have been heavy on ps4 this past year so I understand
Cool vid keep it up focus on structure
Thanks, will do!
Sega Saturn> Nintendo 64. Sorry Samantha
It's all good if we all liked the same stuff we wouldn't have anything to talk about. What's a great sega saturn game for you?
