That's super exciting that you found a pokemon game you haven't played yet! Same here on Black and White. I've been working through the games in order with my s/o and it's been such a joy
I have a pawn shop near me that prices games at pretty reasonable prices! Haven't found anything worth picking up yet, but people should absolutely put pawn shops on their radar if they're game hunting! Great video and awesome finds!
$5 for the orange box is a great deal. Half-Life 2 and Portal 2 are some of the best games ever made. It's showing up as a $25 game on price charting and I would suspect even more than that if you got it on eBay.
In my experience, they're hit or miss depending on the clientele bringing games in (for quality and condition) and proprietor, depending on how "in the know" they are in pricing. Most of ours have gone to eBay/VGPC prices for untested games. I will say this--the more people keep talking up pawn shops as honey holes, they're going to do the same thing they did to thrift shops and make all them raise their prices too... I think we're seeing this already actually. People who want to keep finding big fish need to stop talking about grandpa's fishing hole... Overly-opinionated comment aside; freaking LOVE 3# Dot Heroes. It has load of gaming references as well as pop culture Easter eggs. Plus, it's just so fun to play.
One thing i've noticed recently is that the market is actually going down a little bit so hopefully the same influence for the thrift shops don't happen but you never know
Prince of Persia lost crown is such a good game and Ubisoft closed the studio that made it. So if we ever get a good 2D action platformer from the development team it won't be from Ubisoft again.
@samanthaazira Ubisoft is in a world of trouble right now, financially and it doesn't help they continue to make bad business decisions. I imagine in the next few years Ubisoft is either going to be bought out and acquired or go under.
Yeah, you're probably right, but you could almost argue it's the same for any Second-hand markets like facebook marketplace so I guess I take my chances
The thrift stores have been dry lately in the valley!!!
@@GingerbeardthegamingDad I agree

Yeah, this one's definitely unique for me.Because I usually know the game play or have played them before. So it will be fun to dive into this one

I have definitely been having a lot more luck with them recently than anywhere else
Goodwill went insane with the prices for a while as well
@@wangchung2157 yea they really did
Those are awesome pickups! It's surprising you were able to find that stuff out in the wild!
@@RNGGamerYT I do get lucky sometimes!
Fantastic pawn shop scores Sam! Pokémon is always nice to pick up. Some pretty decent prices as well. Hope you guys are well!
Yeah, that pawn shop is dangerous. It's on my way home now and i'm spending a lot of money
Our pawn shops are a bust. Very nice scores though! I’m lucky with the thrift stores near me.
@@GamerAhmer you might be the luckiest person I know, but you are also going more than most of us so you put the work in
@ very true.

Yea, I was really surprised how cheap it was, and ultimately, it was basically free with the bundle.
My thoughts on Ubisoft exactly!
@carlagraca6022 I have stronger words but I figured I would tone it down lol
Yeah, pawn shops are where it’s at. Great finds! There are four Onimusha games on the PS2. The fourth one is a Super Smash Bros clone.
That's crazy I need to dive into the series it seems kind of weird
@ My bad….there are actually five Onimusha games on the PS2. 😅
@GrailboundGaming damn 2 more to go

Of course, they closed it.They love destroying anything good

alot of stolen loot ends up in pawn shops. I was born and raised in chicago. so if your willing to own possible stolen loot.

I stop going to the SA and Goodwill's now, its a waste of time sadly.
Everything is over priced.
They definitely are. They they like putting big price tags on garbage games
