The problem with DKC3 is that 1&2 exist. If you were to play 3 as a standalone game it would be a lot of people's favorite. The level design is diverse, the bosses require more than just jumping on their heads to defeat, and it has a good amount of challenge. But, because we're always comparing it to 1&2 we see it as a sharp turn away from the mold and that doesn't sit right with everyone. In short; give it another shot and enjoy it for what it is. Also, Kiddie Kong can skip across water. It's his only cool trait, but it's pretty cool.
Yea I will have to go back and try and not compare it which will be difficult. It's similar enough that while playing it I often just wish I was playing dkc2. I will give it a shot though.
Sometimes it IS tough to focus on the story for open world games like GTA and Skyrim and focus on story progression vs., well, everything else. I really enjoyed DKC--but have never, ever, played any of the games after that one; no reason, but just never carved out the time. I'd like to check out the Dragon Age series, but now, anything that has too much depth, probably means I won't be able to make the time it needs to get through it.
With my ADD the only Grand Theft Auto I was able to roll credits on was GTA V, even though I’ve played and own all of them😅 Skyrim is my top regret that I’ve never come close to actually finishing
DKC3 is the most divisive DKC game I think its just hit or miss for most people. DK64 is a ALOT of busy work, it hard for me to recommend that game to just anyone as I dont completely like it myself but I own the cartridge so I play it from time to time
I played San Andreas to completion because it has the best story by a mile. Dragon Age Origins is just too good not to complete 😮 I have one outstanding completion. I have about 1000 hours in that particular game. That game is Skyrim, I just can't bring myself to end the story, I just love living in Skyrim and feel if I finish the story, I might not go back 😮😂
I'm going to do like everybody else did and jump on the bandwagon to Donkey Kong Country 3's defense. It's actually a really good game and I think you need to play it without comparing it to Donkey Kong Country 2. I also have never played through a Grand theft Auto game yet. I haven't even tried one so I'm way further behind than you 😂
The only GTA games I have ever finished were part 3 and vice city.the rest have such unlikable characters that I don't care to see it to the end ...that being said I buy them all and have a blast playing them as a sandbox.
I guess the is the most important part is just having fun, but I will admit for how many years I have owned and played them I am surprised I never finished a story line

Yea it seems you need the more short form games since your time is so limited. Have you made a video about games to play when you are limited on time?
@@samanthaazira You kidding? To make such a video would take the last seconds of potential game time! Madness!!

Well to be fair skyrim is a very large game with tons of side content lol

Sounds like I need to play it without comparing it to the others...
Dont give up! You should definitely give Danganronpa another shot. It's pretty much the only visual novel that i like
Then I will make sure to swing back to that!

That is an insane amount of hours in skyrim but it's understandable with how much content it has.

Same here, III and Vice City only. Don't care for the rest, for some reason.

First!
Donkey Kong titles on this list! 😮
Yeah its embarrassing
