thanks man. this is exactly what i was looking for. keep making these short tutorials. they come up great on search and help me find an answer and get right back into blending :D
Great video. It helped me solve a problem in a Udemy course that I was taking. I'm running version 4.2, but the drop-downs and items on your material tab don't match what is on my screen. For example, under the "settings," it is much different than in your video. I don't know where to find those items, like the "render method" label and drop-down, which are not there. Keep up the great work! Sub'd

I wouldn't really recommend switching the thickness to "slab" if your working with (a) sphere(s). Otherwise, you can go for it!
great
Legend, cheers!
is there a way to get the object to cast a shadow with the color of the material?
thanks!
Love it
gracias
plz, how to make an object not casting any shadow while the others could? i noticed 4.2 doesnt have the no shadow setting
If anyone else is still having trouble (like me): Put a value node in thickness
nice
Objects are not visible through my glass, at any stage of this tutorial
