Edit: 26 minutes later after I finished the video, it was very fun and calming the problem I had was constantly getting out of positions to see what Nicole was doing so I can adjust other than that it was very nice, Thank you Nicole!

I’m struggling with PCOS and regular workouts always worsened my symptoms. The cortisol spike always felt like a panic attack and gave me imbalanced blood sugar and it was hard to lose weight. I’ve been following your “gentle” pilates videos for about 2 weeks and I never felt this relaxed and at peace after a workout. The feeling of being connected to my core and my body gives me a high. I have PCOS which has been out of control for a few months due to stress. These videos have me feeling amazing, the first time I've had a 'high' after working out. I literally cried after this one.

May I know which of Nicole's videos you use? I also have joint pain and my shoulders are a bit stiff. My physical therapist told me to be consistent with exercise.
@@eatsburrito I use all the different styles - pilates, yoga, HIIT, barre. For me, this variation of workout is so good! I find her playlists according to style, duration and focus very helpful. Have you checked out the Upper Body playlist? The Barre videos also have some wide arm movements that might help "soften" the shoulders. Hope you find what works for you 🧡 wish you all the best! 🌻

I used to be an absolute athlete and after some years of bad dieting and a few injuries, I stopped being so active. I wanted to try Pilates for beginners thinking it would be a piece of cake but it was so challenging and made me realize how out of shape I am 😀 lol. Thank you for this beautiful, calming work out. ❤
Your clear, detailed guidance has helped this 62 y/o beginner who is trying to rehab a low back injury to actually do a daily mat class!! Since I have chronic wrist injury, I have to avoid being on “all fours”. I’m likely not alone in needing more beginner classes that are adaptive for those with wrist limitations. This video really helped me understand the foundations of pilates so much better and connect to my deep core/pelvic floor. The arm workout/shoulder portion is a posture game changer too. so perfect for beginners. I felt amazing afterwards. Def my new go-to pilates workout until I work up some strength and form for more intensity!

Used to do pilates and other exercises 6 days a week for years, then life got in the way and I've been going months at a time without really moving my body more than a hike or walk... this workout was gentle enough that I didn't feel discouraged yet burned enough that I remembered all the reasons I loved exercise in the first place. thank you!! :)

Decided to do a daily practice of move with Nicole for 30 days - this is my day 1
I would just like to say thank you! I have been working out alongside this video 5 nights a week for a month now and am actually noticing in daily life how much my muscles have grown! I feel strong, I have a spring in my step! My legs are much more toned now and it’s so much easier to chase my toddler around all day!!

I’ve been doing your pilates since 2019. This is the best way for me to workout. I’ve done cardio (which I love) HITT workouts, basically a little bit of everything, but I’ve lost the most weight and gained most muscle with your workouts, I’ve improved my posture, and so much more. My first ever finished pilates workout!
As an obese person it's scary to start working out because the feeling of failure is too big. I tried pilates many times before and I gave up every time after less then 10 minutes, but today I did full 30 minutes! Thank you so much ❤

So, I just recently started my Pilates journey because I realized just how stiff and out of shape I was becoming, plus other health issues have really set me on a more mindful path. Day 3 of doing Pilates and it blows my mind at how I can just smile and feel giddy and overly happy at the end of each days session (i try to do two sessions, one is the strict stretching) and it feels absolutely amazing. I can already feel certain parts of my body becoming slightly more flexible and things that were a bit rough on day one are becoming easier and more enjoyable on day 3. So with all of that said, thank you! Seriously, these videos are so amazing and I love how professional they feel, yet they're relaxing and energizing at the same time. Also, THANK YOU for doing voice over, haha. It is such a wonderful addition to any sort of workout/wellness body content

One suggestion, pls explain the technique to do the roll ups without having to move the legs or with a jerk.

I keep coming back to this video Nicole because I love the t-zone and core activation mindfulness at the beginning. It improves the rest of the workout for me, and I notice a difference between my mind-muscle connection and ability to activate my core compared to other beginner vids that don't include that portion. Would love to see more of that type of videos for beginners, to help us get the most out of the rather simple pilates movements.

I've tried so many different in person and online classes that work well with my chronic illness, and Nicole's are the ones I always come back to. She does such a good job at explaining every single movement, the pace is always on point and as gentle as her workouts seem, I always feel the intense burn. I’m a guy I’m 22 body feels like 60. I love this. My body feels amazing after and didn’t feel like 30min. I could barely hold my arms and legs up to do those circles.

Today was my first attempt at pilates and I can confidently say I have never felt more in tune with my body! I still need things to work on keeping up with activating my core, but when i would i definitely could feel the difference ! I am excited to keep up with this new journey!

I’m new to Pilates, never thought of I would love to do this exercise. My foot was injured, I had stopped to do exercises for quite sometimes. My body became stiff and inflexible, so I started to look for an exercise which doesn’t require to stand too long. When I found Nicole’s class, and tried some beginner level of Pilate, I fall in love with it.
The breathing and movement together are perfect to refresh my entire body, I feel so good every time after exercise. It won’t be too exhausted, and I can continue my task as well instead of taking long time to rest.
Besides, It is pleasing to see Nicole’s movements in the video, and follow her explanation while working out.

My mom used to teach me this when I was a kid. I've practiced a few of these moves over the years but never stuck to a solid routine and haven't exercised much in probably about 10 years since I was 18. Decided to give this video a try and reactivated muscles I forgot I had 😅 it definitely makes me appreciate the science of fitness that much more when you realize how much work goes into maintaining strength.
