What I love about Nicole's workouts are that you get everything: a warming workout; cool down stretch; feel aligned; pumping with endorphins - feels so good! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creativity - my mind and body are reaping the rewards!
I'd love to get some advice, in that "sides" series, I couldn't feel my glutes or side of the body, in fact I couldn't even get to the full exercise and had to quit since it KILLED my shoulders. I made sure to have my elbow underneath my shoulder and tried not to collapse into it. it didn't help though... what could be wrong??
@@Cutiedrizzle i think what makes it work is making sure your knees are in line with your body, its not supposed to be bent forward. i also had this problem and that's how I fixed it. your knees need to be in the same line as your shoulders and your feet are bent to the back. doesn't make the feeling go away from your shoulders but kind of lessens it bc it divides the weight to both your glutes and arms. hope this is helpful 🙏
Great videos. As a very unsupple, unfit, approaching middle aged man, these are just what I need. The BBC did a radio program called just one thing, with Michael Moseley, praising and promoting the benefits of pilates. Was very interesting and something I thought I should try which was within my capabilities. Your manner is very calming and easy to follow. Thanks again.
I like the moderate to intermediate sessions sometimes (as opposed to intermediate to advanced) because they remind me to focus on posture and I still shake a lot while doing the exercises. Thanks again for a great class!
I strayed away from Nicole last week to a more quiet yoga practice as my mind was at war with my body while that yoga was peaceful and relaxing I realized how much I love Nicole and her mindfulness towards giving the mirroring us visual and the detailed instruction throughout the video so you don't miss out or get confused on anything I just love that!!!! @@alina.therealtor yes. I lost some kilos. I did 20 minutes for several months, paying attention to any pain.....and then when I feel that my body doesn't feel any pain anymore I started doing 30 minutes....to lose weight you need to be constant.
I did pilates at a studio for over a year, I usually did it as a warmup before going to the gym and I really liked it there but it became way too expensive so I started doing some of your routines every once in a while on my core days. About a couple months ago I got injured while training (I do Muay Thai) and have been in bed for the past 55 days. Today I felt the urge to start moving a little again. Since I am recovering and cannot train as I'm used to for a while I picked this video, it seemed easy for me (again, I did advanced pilates for a year), but OH SURPRISE THIS WAS SUCH A CHALLENGE!!!! It was fun and I enjoyed every second of it, but I didn't know how much my body had weakened in the past two months. I was amazed on how movements that before seemed and felt so easy, today were challenging for both my body and mind, and I'm glad I took the decision to do this full routine and start moving again. I am motivated to keep this recovery going and coming back to my strongest self. Thank you so much of this class and the motivation. I guess I'll be back tomorrow.

I cannot say HOW MUCH I love these classes with you. Since doing these sessions I don't have my massive headaches anymore. I used to have them for the past 12 years (especially when the weather was changing etc) but since doing these pilates workouts my headaches are gone. wow!!! also, I always feel very happy afterwards and I embrace the feeling of having achieved something that is good for my soul, body and inner emotions. My body is definitely more lean but most importantly a lot stronger and every day tasks feel easier. And my back pains are gone! I hope you have been able to keep up your motivation! It’s really hard sometimes😅 You can’t really target only one body part when trying to lose fat. It might reduce belly fat in the long run, esp. if you’re able to do the cardio workouts too, but you also need a balanced diet (of which you probably are aware of, I’m not trying to be mean😅). I wish you loads of motivation for working out 😊

Hi Nicole! Your videos are helping me recover from tibial plateau surgery. I broke my leg 6 months ago. I still can’t do child’s pose but your exercises are helping me increase my range of motion so I’m not too far away! Ahh, I made it through a few minutes over 20 instead of the usual 15 - and, sure, it isn’t a great improvement, but even incremental change is good enough for me, considering it feels like I’ve been plateauing for so long. Thank you for a highly satisfactory upload as per usual, Nicole!! Edit 1: Just a little under a weak later and these 35 minutes - well, 50, actually, considering water breaks and replaying the video for better comprehension - have been absolutely incredible.
Keep practicing! You will get better! I could barely get through 10 minutes of one of her videos 3 years ago and now I love her 1 hour ones. And I'm in my 40s!

I really love this workout! I just started pilates since I´ve heard i´ts great for your body and your workout was the first one I found, and I am happy I did! It´s not too tiring while doing the workout but afterwards I feel like my whole body is shaking (in a good way)!!! I love the fact that you´re syncronising breathing and workout, I think that´s really important. Often times, workout youtubers just tell you what to do with some music and that´s it, but you really take time and importance to every single movement. I never thought I´d say this but this is truly the first workout I´ve done where time has literally flown by. A-MAZING that´s all there needs to be said.

It’s really hard sometimes😅 You can’t really target only one body part when trying to lose fat. It might reduce belly fat in the long run, esp. if you’re able to do the cardio workouts too, but you also need a balanced diet (of which you probably are aware of, I’m not trying to be mean😅). I wish you loads of motivation for working out 😊

Hi Nicole! Your videos are helping me recover from tibial plateau surgery. I broke my leg 6 months ago. I still can’t do child’s pose but your exercises are helping me increase my range of motion so I’m not too far away! Ahh, I made it through a few minutes over 20 instead of the usual 15 - and, sure, it isn’t a great improvement, but even incremental change is good enough for me, considering it feels like I’ve been plateauing for so long. Thank you for a highly satisfactory upload as per usual, Nicole!!
Edit 1: Just a little under a weak later and these 35 minutes - well, 50, actually, considering water breaks and replaying the video for better comprehension - have been absolutely incredible.
Keep practicing! You will get better! I could barely get through 10 minutes of one of her videos 3 years ago and now I love her 1 hour ones. And I'm in my 40s!

Idk what it is about your pilates classes.. i just did a whole 35 pilates workout when ive been struggling so much with my asthma that it prevents me from doing any other workout.. after about 5 minutes i feel like my lungs are on fire & i cant breathe but your workout my lungs felt fine! I really love this workout! I just started pilates since I´ve heard i´ts great for your body and your workout was the first one I found, and I am happy I did! It´s not too tiring while doing the workout but afterwards I feel like my whole body is shaking (in a good way)!!! I love the fact that you´re syncronising breathing and workout, I think that´s really important. Often times, workout youtubers just tell you what to do with some music and that´s it, but you really take time and importance to every single movement. I never thought I´d say this but this is truly the first workout I´ve done where time has literally flown by. A-MAZING that´s all there needs to be said.
This workout was the perfect way to end a busy day. Thank you for putting it together for us. I appreciated the encouragement from the cat too! Blessings from California 💕
