as a mat Pilates instructor, I can tell you, this exceeds at times the level of beginners; I got recently qualified but at our exam, where we had to deliver a beginners' class, we were explicitly told, e.g. not to do leg raises in the shoulder bridge. It has to be challenging but also one has to remember: beginners' class is the type of class where you pretty much drag people from the street into a class. Do people have issues, like bad posture, and weak muscles? Yes, hence certain movements for them should be avoided until they get the basic strength in their muscles. It is difficult though, as a trainer, to set the limits...but Nicole does such a great job!!! 💖💖💖💖💖 And remember, you can always do modifications or stick to the first movement and do not progress yet! Keep doing it, Pilates is so rewarding!
This workout was actually so fun! It did not feel like 26 minutes, I’m so impressed! This is really a full experience. Also, this is my first time doing Pilates! It felt so good
This was my first ever Pilates exercise. I loved it! I have been struggling with depression and have barely exercised for an entire year! This was my first time exercising in months and I feel great! It was the perfect level of difficulty for me and I feel so good now. I can feel my core engaged just sitting here and I don't feel like the sad blob I usually do. Can't wait to do this more!!
I love that so much, I’m proud of you! Exercising is proven to help improve mental health largely. If you are feeling so low of energy you can’t get yourself to do a full 25 minutes workout, just try and go out in the sun and try to walk for 5 minutes, or put on your favorite songs and dance freely to them… Whatever it is, just move your body and get some healthy sun exposure every day, this will already improve your mental health drastically. Even if it’s just for a few minutes, try to do that every single day, it will change your life. I say from experience as someone that has been struggling with mental health since I was nine years old😊.
Let me know if you want to see more beginner workouts! 😊 I apologise for the poor lighting at the start of the video, it improves as the video goes on hehe. Sending you all lots of love. ❤️
can you pleaaaase make some beginner yoga workouts? I loved your yoga pilates blend but I kept falling over and would loooove a beginner/foundation class!
Yes would love some! I actually searched you channel a few days ago for beginners - so I was excited to see this video this morning! Keep them coming please ❤️😊
For the girlies who also get hip clicks: this is very very hip click friendly, every other workout video I’ve tried has made my hips shift and click but this one is perfect if you follow her instructions on how to keep your hips in place😊
I have never really liked exercising, and having mental health issues along with body dysmorphia... doesnt make it very easy. However this one. This one right here. It's exactly what exercising should feel like in my opinion. It helps my mental health and maybe ill build a healthy relationship to exercise through this! So thank you❤️
Aw thank you! I'm so happy to hear that! There are so many mental health benefits of exercise so I'm so glad you feel that! Sending you lots of love. 💗
Feel the exact same way, you really put into words the gratitude I was feeling towards Nicole. Exercising has always been challenging for me, but this made me feel a delicious connection with my body
Starting my 2024 fitness journey with this one! Thank you miss Nicole🥰 Edit: day 2 of doing this! Will progress to something longer next week🥰 Day 3 done! It suddenly felt so short now😖 my leg raises + glute poses still need more improvement though😅. Day 4 done! My arms felt wobbly during the plank hold at the end. I thought of giving up but surprisingly, my body did not☺️ also, i noticed that my back pain lessened because of doing this everyday so yayy🤩 Day 5 done! I was really busy today so im doing this at 10pm😭 still, i managed to do it somehow and i feel proud of myself for pushing through❤ Day 6 done! I had to take it slow today and do some modifications since i got my molar extracted🤒 Day 7 done! Aaaa I can’t believe it has been a week already🤧 im gonna do a different session tomorrow! Probably the 30 minute beginner one. May we all get healthier and stronger this 2024! 💖💖 Another edit: im still doing the beginner pilates videos but i alternate between videos depending on what i feel like doing that day😅 the biggest difference i felt so far is my neck! It doesn't hurt that much anymore when i do the hundreds without support. i also take breaks when I'm on my period/sick. This is your sign to consistently do pilates !!
@@cececece9557 looooool seriously wtf 😂 I wish I thought it was relaxing, but it was way too hard and made my muscles burn. But hey, if we stick to it maybe one day we’ll find it relaxing
as a pretty out-of-shape, inflexible person, this was tough enough to have me almost in tears at times, but the music, pacing, and your voice kept me calm enought to push through and i was (technically) able to do almost all of the exercises on the first try! the ab burn is reeeeal 👏🏻👏🏻🔥🔥
I love pilates that feels challenging but is still somewhat comfortable. Anyone else hates being in pain? Lol love this class I am coming back to it often
Nicole, I’ve been doing your classes exclusively for about a year now. I am down 35 pounds and went from having a very strained relationship with exercise and my body to my Pilates being my favorite part of the day. Thank you for this gift of free access to something truly beautiful and special. Sometimes I like to come back to these beginner classes and see how far I’ve come, and if you had told me last year that I’d eventually be able to do them with perfect form I wouldn’t have believed it. I am so grateful. 💕
You know, I started this video and thought “This is too easy. I lift weights so I bet I’m stronger.” Went and found one of your normal videos and it was way too hard. Came back to this video and struggled through lots of it. Kinda embarrassing. Thanks very much for these videos.
I feel so open! I’ve been struggling to get back into exercising as I gained so much weight and have been feeling so insecure to start again but this was amazing and a definite push to my new chapter in fitness. Thank you so much!
I am in the same boat. I finally decided that I must get back into working out slowly. This was just what I needed. I also decided to eat breakfast at home, bring lunch to work, and make dinner. Time to make changes. Good luck to you!
Hey i can relate. I lost so much weight working out during quarantine but now I’ve gained it all back and I’ve felt so bad because all my hard work is gone and I’m trying to get motivated again.
Worked out religiously for almost 3 years, then life happened and I quit for 6 months. This is the first workout I’ve done since I’ve decided to get back to it and I am very pleased! Just enough to really feel it, but in a good way.. especially when you’re more vulnerable to injury. Love her page and workouts. ❤
I’ve done this workout a good 4 or 5 times and I’m starting to be able to control my breathing better with the exercises and I feel amazing after each session thank you!!
I don’t usually comment, but this is my first Pilates video back in a few months break due to distraction, burnout/mental health. I was doing Nicole about 4-6 days a week for months. It is so good to start again. I want to get back where I was. Please pray for me that I was fall back into love with this routine to enjoy my body at work again 🎉❤🙏thank you Nicole!
I love how you take time to tell us what to be careful of for posture, sometimes I'm not even aware of my core not being engaged or where my line is. Thank you for that! Another challenging work out, but I'm looking forward to improving!
As a beginner, I definitely shook, but I will absolutely be doing this again. Thank you, this was awesome for me. I don’t know how I even completed this.

Yo, thanks for this. I’m a pretty inflexible guy and not being able to do stuff immediately is really a bummer and keeps me from starting, makes me unsure if I’m even going to see any results. This gives me hope.
I tried one of your intermediate and it was waaay too hard, but this video is perfect, still challenging, I had to take little breaks sometimes. I will continue doing these beginner videos until I get better !
Day 3 of doing your beginner videos, thank you so much Nicole! I love the way you talk me through it, knowing that my body is on fire and reminding me I'm strong and I can do it! So excited to continue my journey with you!
Hi Nicole! I´m 17 y.o and I come from Rio de Janeiro. Before I met you on yt, I was really sedentary during quarantine, couldn´t even hold a plank position for ten seconds! It´s been four months since I started practicing pilates thanks to your wonderful channel and it completely changed my life! Now I workout every day and i feel stronger than ever. Thank you so much, you inspire me!
I've had lots of health problems for the past few years so I haven't really kept up with exercising. This is the first pilates video I was able to do, and finish without feeling like I was dying during it! This was so relaxing and feels like it will help with both my mental and physical health. Thank you so much for making a true beginner's pilates video that was still challenging! It went by so quickly and didn't even feel like it was 25 minutes. I will definitely come back to this!
thank you very much. this made my day. my grandma passed away last week and your videos are the only thing that bring me joy. I don’t even take part in the workout, I just watch you do it and listen to the music. thank you so much for putting a smile on my face every day at 6 o clock when I sit down to watch my scheduled work out video.
5 month update- i did it on and off over the months whenever my schedule allowed it and i feel a lot more fitter and good mentally too. let's just hope that I can be more consistent with it now
I lost my leg almost a year ago. So my left leg is amputated above the knee. I loved this video because I was able to do a lot of the exercises! I am blessed that I am able to walk with a prosthetic, but I have always loved Pilates and for a while found it difficult to find a workout that I was able to do! Thank you!!!
Was totally out of shape and hadn't worked out for years. Started doing this routine 2-3 weeks ago. Struggled at first, but I already feel so much stronger. Thank you so much! 🙏
Growing up, my siblings and I were made to hold stress positions as a punishment and it really damaged my view on exercise. I started following along with your videos and it's actually helping restore that relationship. The calming accepting vibe really helps as I fight to keep motivation. Thank you.
I'm sorry that you went through that, its heartbreaking. Good for you for looking for ways to take care of your body and view exercise as your ally. I don't know you but I'm happy for you! 🎉🎉 Keep up the good mental and physical work!
Fantastic! I am 53, but acting like I am 20 (it's hard to accept). This was perfect for where I'm at, realistically. Thank you for sharing your gift. It made a huge difference to a random older woman not able to make it to the gym! 💖🙏
I have been inactive for months due to depression and have been struggling to get back into the groove. This is my first exercise of recovery, and this video helped me feel like physical recovery is possible. Thank you so much!
I’ve been through depression for the last couple of months as well and this is my first workout, just wanted to let you know you’re not alone and keep pushing through 🙏🏻🤍
I stepped into the gym this morning for the first time in months and did this workout- it completely changed my mindset on what exercise can feel like. Thank you!
started Pilates today with this video for my core and im only 9 minutes in and have already had to take two breaks! core strength is no joke! gonna keep coming back to this video until it feels easy!
I'm a 28 year old guy with no previous interest in or experience of pilates, but this convinced me. It was so gentle on the body but I know I'll feel this in my hips and glutes tomorrow. I'll definitely try other videos of yours!
This is a perfect video! The instructions were super clear so I didn’t have to keep watching the screen to see how to do it and it was so relaxing while being engaging and a bit challenging as well! Didn’t even realize it had been 25 minutes!
oh wow, thank you so much, this is exactly what i needed. i always forget about breathing when i'm working out, and it makes me so tired. i love that your video focused on breathing, and also was quite challenging (for me at least). i am so so glad i found your channel!!!
*” haha i always forget to breath and i catch myself not breathing for a minute then she says to breath. I never thought i could forget to do something involuntary. “*
If this is beginners, yes I definitely want to see more beginners workouts bec it didn’t feel like a beginners class! It had some challenging moves but I really liked it! ❤️
I keep coming back to this one. I have been lifting 3x a week and doing pilates 2x and I still can feel progress happening and my waist really feels strong and looks snatched!!
This is amazing, I used to be really active but I stopped exercising for about 2 months over this most recent UK lockdown and I’ve been feeling so disconnected from my body. I stumbled upon and did your 10 min cool down stretch for the 2nd time this morning and was actually looking forward to this after work! Thank you for making them so accessible, I felt like I could do all the moves and still felt the burn. Please do more like these!
Thank you so much! I'm so happy that you are enjoying the 10 min cool down stretch so much and that you enjoyed this one too! Definitely more to come. 😊 Sending you lots of love. 💗
This has been my favorite video since I started doing pilates with Nicole!!!!! I am 6 weeks post-op after having a total hysterectomy and have been just waiting to be able to get back to doing what I was doing before!!!! Just finished this video, once again and I feel fantastic! Thanks, Nicole for helping me get back to feeling like myself!
Hey Nicole! I love all your videos but especially this one. Could you do more beginner videos? I feel like it's helpful in building up the methods of form and alignment that are important for the more advanced videos :)
Wow, I've never done pilates.and this one is the first one i try and i paused and quit at minute 7 because I wasn't able to do it. This is more like I do exercise but I'm beginning pilates. And that's not my case sadly
I love that this is actually a beginner level. Would love to see more of these as I’m working out again after a year and a half due to knee surgery and rehabbing it. This beginners video is the perfect level for me to reawaken my muscles. Her cues on alignment and coordinated breathing really help.
this is definitely one of my favorite pilates workouts, it’s perfect for a beginner. Normally I pause other workouts and take long breaks because they can be so difficult but I didn’t pause a single time during this one and it went by so quickly. I feel energized and relaxed, I’m definitely gonna do this workout as much as I can.
day one:👍🏼 i'll do it for a month from now, 5 days a week along with 75 squats and a short walk once a week. let's see if i can. 😃💪🏼 and thank you nicole!! it's such a fun workout!❤🔥
Apparently i burst out into nervous laughter when my glutes are on fire. Did not expect it to be so challenging. I am def motivated to keep doing it until I can master all the moves. ❤️
going to try this for a 2 weeks and see if i improve (as someone who has never done pilates) day one ✅ day two ✅ day three ✅ (broke my arm so can’t do this for 2 weeks 😭i’ll re update after 2 weeks) day one ✅ ( finished whole workout, didn’t feel near as hard as the first time trying it!) day two ✅ day three ✅ day four ✅ dag five ✅
Love you Nicole - am not a beginner but this little workout is PERFECT for my friday morning - thank you. You literally have kept me going through lockdown! gratitude
This is my very first pilates work out and it feels so good. I've hurt my leg recently so I cannot do any cardio/squat or anything using the knee or the ankle too much so that's a perfect alternative to work out !
Aw yay I'm so happy you enjoyed it! Especially since it was your first Pilates session. 😊 I hope you have a speedy recovery. Sending you lots of love and healing vibes. ❤️
Nicole, I am returning to working out after a couple months' hiatus. Your videos make working out feel approachable and well worth the effort. Prior to the pandemic, I have taken weekly YMCA pilates and yoga classes for the better part of the last decade. I can really notice the level of expertise in your sequences. Thank you so much for posting these videos and inspiring me to take a little more health-based me time during the week
This was my second day doing this and it was easier than the first time! 25 minutes a day is such a doable commitment to develop a healthier relationship to my body after a back injury. After yesterday, I looked forward to doing this all day and I didn’t have to stop once, whereas yesterday I had a hard time pushing myself. I can tell I was engaging my muscles more correctly because I worked up quite a sweat this time. I will come back to this and continue updating!
This is such a perfect way to get your body moving first thing in the morning. I have started incorporating pilates into my morning routine and have left my more intense workouts for after work and wow, what a difference. Thank you Nicole!
doing this workout everyday (and diet) starting weight: 161.6LBS height(if that matters): 5’5 day 1 JULY20: i only made it about 10 minutes in😣 day 2 JULY21: i didnt wanna do it but pushed through and made it to about 10 minutes too.🥴 day 3 JULY22: i made it to about 22 minutes (proud of myself, i pushed through) and holy shitt this is kicking my ass day 4 JULY23: did the whole thing i’m proud of myself! tired asf day 5 JULY24: finished the whole thing. arms are achin omg 😭 but its literally getting slightly easier to do the ab workouts day6 JULY25: did half, all i had time for sadly😩 day7 JULY 26: done with about 2 thirds. al i had time for again😭 i also went on a 20 minute jog-walk WEIGH IN: 160.5 LBS i was shocked but i think sow is the good way.
making it part of your routine is the best way to keep it up! and when you get more confident with this, i’d suggest cardio as well- pilates is great for toning and building up some muscle, and then you can put them to use :D good luck with it!!
I started this video about a week ago. I didn’t do it every day throughout the week, but I did it most days. The video is still difficult for me to get through, but I can definitely tell I’m getting stronger! 26:36
long rant incoming but that's just how thankful i am: i dont typically like to exercise and i find gyms very intimidating. i started my 2024 resolution of moving more by following along to one of ur videos and it helped me get over the DAY 1 hurdle. a few weeks later my dog died and i've since lost that momentum and any drive i had to improve my physical health. but today i decided it was time to get back to it and what better place to re-start my journey than where it began in the first place. so thank you for the enjoyable workouts and for reminding me that, despite my low fitness level, i do enjoy the burn ! ❤❤
I just have to say that this video is so so so well explained. I am completely blind and finding workout and Pilates videos that I can follow audibly instead of visually is a real struggle. So thank you 😊
I enjoyed this so much. It didn’t feel like 26:39 minutes at all. It’s not easy for a beginner but I like a nice relaxing challenge. I will be doing this for a week and move to the more advanced ones gradually.
I've just tried pilates for the first time with your video, and I feel absolutely incredible! Amazing and much needed burn, this was great for beginners since it is a challenge but mild enough that I feel confident in my body. I love the way that you build the moves/exercises on top of each other. In love, thank you!
Trying this for 14 days! Starting Weight: 122 Starting Day: 3-14-24 Day 1: Felt shaky in my legs when doing lower/outer glute and leg portion.. struggled with plank.. feeling overall good! 🤍 Day2: Feeling the burn!! 🔥 I’m really liking the workout, and I woke up extra de-bloated! YAY
Day 1: done! (I felt the burn in those leg circles)! So happy I finished the whole thing! 1/9/24 Day 2: done! (I felt the burn in my legs again, but this time I was able to fully hold my plank and stretch from side to side way easier for the last exercise)! 1/10/24
Wonderful session! My abs & glutes definitely felt it. I’m getting my Pilates certification next month, after teaching yoga for 15yrs. I’m going to do a class with u everyday, to prep my body for the teaching sessions. Thank you for a great class☺️💖
This was my 1st Pilates class, recommended to me by my Doctor. Struggled at first but I persevered and I go between this one and another 2 of the beginners classes from Move with Nicole. I do a class at least 5 days out of 7. (For the first 3 months I did a class every day to build up my strength). It’s helped my continually sore back, although I still get flare ups. Can’t believe how my body has changed shape and toned up. I started to notice this after 3 months
a while ago i would do this exercise every day, but i got lazy in the middle of the process and stoped doing it, now im back to it again, i only stay at home most of the time doing nothing and that was causing me to not exercise at all!! my lack of motivation got me these days and i felt that i needed to do something about it, it was a WONDERFUL exercise as always, looking forward to it, thank you so much Nicole ❤
Trying to start exercising! Day 1: couldn't do right leght properly, had to drop it at least once during the forward kick. Day 2: my period came lol, but today could do the full rutine without stopping! Day 3: hard day but complete it! Day 4: today the forward kicks felt like my whole body was burning, hope to finish this week and then move on to another video.
I tried this one for the first time today -- I've been doing your Intermediate 20-minute Full Body workout -- and I thought this one was harder! Maybe because I was moving a bit slower throughout, so I was probably just doing it more correctly! Anyway, I loved it and will definitely put it in my Pilates workout rotation. Thanks, Nicole!
This was honestly really nice. I kept thinking about pillates because i obviously need to lose weight bring at 105kg,but getting into pillates as a guy feels weird because it's a sport that's usually, unintentionally marketed towards women(?) but i had a blast , i loved it and ill come back to it, hopefully daily
Im getting back into pilates and it is so good you feel so much more connected with your body when your trying to control your movements in this way and it helps strengthen your muscles as well
Love the slow calm pace, easy to follow your guidance to focus on the parts of the body so the exercise is properly experienced - yes please, more beginners classes 👍🏻 🙏
I just finished this workout. It was great. But it said beginners! I’d hate to see an intermediate class! This was tough!! I’ll be back for sure Nicole!!
I was consistent last year for a month and a half and I noticed beautiful results. I'm back here again and mannnn even the beginner workouts are a challenge. I am so pleased with this I forgot how damn good I feel after it's done. The challenge is always worth it. ⭐
I did this yesterday & 3/4 of the way through, I cried as if emotions were being released! The "burn" is no joke yet I completed it. Not perfectly mind you or even high enough lifts but enough to have be come back today to work on improving myself slowly. The movements are so small but WOW! I'm feeling it today. Thank you, see u tomorrow for a repeat 🧘🏻♀️ 💯
If this is beginner level I'm going to have to repeat it quite a few times to get good enough to even qualify as a beginner!!
Same here!
literally
Yeah i thaught that in the beginning too and now i can do it. Takes time
as a mat Pilates instructor, I can tell you, this exceeds at times the level of beginners; I got recently qualified but at our exam, where we had to deliver a beginners' class, we were explicitly told, e.g. not to do leg raises in the shoulder bridge. Exactly!! Too much for beginners😆😖
This workout was actually so fun! It did not feel like 26 minutes, I’m so impressed! This is really a full experience. Also, this is my first time doing Pilates! It felt so good
Samee
i’m a beginner too! this might be my fourth time but i’m still trying to improve my posture
OMG me too, first time I tried them and I reaally enjoyed it!
Same!!
Does one get sore?
This was my first ever Pilates exercise. I loved it! I have been struggling with depression and have barely exercised for an entire year! This was my first time exercising in months and I feel great! It was the perfect level of difficulty for me and I feel so good now. I can feel my core engaged just sitting here and I don't feel like the sad blob I usually do. Can't wait to do this more!!
Sto passando qualcosa di simile da un anno....forza, ne usciremo vincenti ❤
I love that so much, I’m proud of you! Exercising is proven to help improve mental health largely. If you are feeling so low of energy you can’t get yourself to do a full 25 minutes workout, just try and go out in the sun and try to walk for 5 minutes, or put on your favorite songs and dance freely to them… Whatever it is, just move your body and get some healthy sun exposure every day, this will already improve your mental health drastically. Even if it’s just for a few minutes, try to do that every single day, it will change your life. I say from experience as someone that has been struggling with mental health since I was nine years old😊.
you got this dude!
Same ❤❤❤
Hi, did you do warm up and cool down? Or just followed this video?
The straight leg kicks forward we’re DEADLY. This is exactly what I needed to ease back into working out after the holiday season
LITERALLY SAME
YESS but i felt so good after 😩
literally!! I was dying while doing them, but i’m so glad I kept homeostasis in the long run
Yessss 😭😭😭
ikkk but they felt so good
Let me know if you want to see more beginner workouts!
Beginner here! Would of course love more of those. Loved this one! Exactly what I needed today 😊
Yes would love some! I actually searched you channel a few days ago for beginners - so I was excited to see this video this morning! Keep them coming please ❤️😊
you can make all the beginner videos you want! I'm sooo happpyyyyyyy
I would love some! My mom is in her 50's so if you could include a beginners with mods that would be great.
For the girlies who also get hip clicks: this is very very hip click friendly, every other workout video I’ve tried has made my hips shift and click but this one is perfect if you follow her instructions on how to keep your hips in place😊
So true!
Yess I get them hard corse, as well as knee crunching…. This one is safe for both
“find a little burn”
UM THE BURN FOUND ME 😩😫
Haha your comment made me smile so much! 😊
lol 😅
Relatable
fr
Yeap.. 😂😂 The burn found me too
I have never really liked exercising, and having mental health issues along with body dysmorphia... doesnt make it very easy.
@fayeiscoping awww thank you so much 😭😭 you are SOO sweet🥹❤️❤️
It really does I feel stronger more in tune with my body relaxed energized and more confident 🥰
I agree with you. This is what exercising should look like. Amazing relationship through the body. Being calm and connected between mind and body.
Feel the exact same way, you really put into words the gratitude I was feeling towards Nicole. Exercising has always been challenging for me, but this made me feel a delicious connection with my body
Starting my 2024 fitness journey with this one! Thank you miss Nicole🥰
Edit: day 2 of doing this! Will progress to something longer next week🥰
Day 3 done! It suddenly felt so short now😖 my leg raises + glute poses still need more improvement though😅.
Day 4 done! My arms felt wobbly during the plank hold at the end. I thought of giving up but surprisingly, my body did not☺️ also, i noticed that my back pain lessened because of doing this everyday so yayy🤩
Day 5 done! I was really busy today so im doing this at 10pm😭 still, i managed to do it somehow and i feel proud of myself for pushing through❤
Day 6 done! I had to take it slow today and do some modifications since i got my molar extracted🤒
Day 7 done! Aaaa I can’t believe it has been a week already🤧 im gonna do a different session tomorrow! Probably the 30 minute beginner one. May we all get healthier and stronger this 2024! 💖💖
Another edit: im still doing the beginner pilates videos but i alternate between videos depending on what i feel like doing that day😅 the biggest difference i felt so far is my neck! It doesn't hurt that much anymore when i do the hundreds without support. i also take breaks when I'm on my period/sick. This is your sign to consistently do pilates !!
i believe in you! let this comment be a reminder to do it again even if you forget a day!
@@indiananauta8604thank you so much🥺
Yay!! Keep going you got this 😊
Well done 😊
You can do it !!!
This is such a good "I feel tired but I still need to workout" type of workout. Thank you 🤗
Exactly!!
Yes!
This was me today omg
Exactly me today 😄
Exactly the same! And back to basics is So cool...
This did absolutly NOT feel like 25 minutes! It was totally relaxing 😊
Yay so happy you found it relaxing. 😊
RELAXING? I WAS DYING😟
I totally agree, I am used to high impact exercises and this really felt relaxing :) It also made me sweat but in a good happy way haha
@@cececece9557 looooool seriously wtf 😂 I wish I thought it was relaxing, but it was way too hard and made my muscles burn. But hey, if we stick to it maybe one day we’ll find it relaxing
@@cececece9557 i was shaking the whole time 🤧
as a pretty out-of-shape, inflexible person, this was tough enough to have me almost in tears at times, but the music, pacing, and your voice kept me calm enought to push through and i was (technically) able to do almost all of the exercises on the first try! the ab burn is reeeeal 👏🏻👏🏻🔥🔥
I do this workout twice a day and oh my GOD the difference I've seen in my body is remarkable. Thanks so much for this video, Nicole. It's my go-to.
could I ask how quickly you noticed the difference please? ie in a week, month/-s?..
@@lime1water even after the first week I noticed my muscles were more visible
How long before you saw results? I'm thinking of doing a simple 30 day pilates challenge to see what happens to my body as well!!!
@@taylorwel1851 oh wow really! That's pretty cool!
I think I'm gunna start doing it twice a day too😀
I love pilates that feels challenging but is still somewhat comfortable. Anyone else hates being in pain? Lol love this class I am coming back to it often
I love being in pain Gina
Same! It's challenging but you're not suffering and the pain somehow feels rather nice.
@@freya5970 😆
Same XD
pain is weakness leaving the body. embrace it and you'll be strong
I agree I lift too, pilates will humble you real quick!
This happened to me too haha. How difficult!
literallyy i had an upper body day yesterday and tried this video just to be humbled. I made it to the end but through PAIN - pilates is no joke
sameeeee
Sameee omg
I feel so open! I’ve been struggling to get back into exercising as I gained so much weight and have been feeling so insecure to start again but this was amazing and a definite push to my new chapter in fitness. Thank you so much!
I'm so happy that you enjoyed it and that it helped you get back into exercise! Keep it up lovely and I am sending you lots of love. 💗
How do u stay motivated? Ure amazing btw
I’ve done this workout a good 4 or 5 times and I’m starting to be able to control my breathing better with the exercises and I feel amazing after each session thank you!!
Yay, that's amazing! So happy to hear that 💗
Same here
I can actually do the proper breathing now
It would be really cool to do a 30 day beginner challenge pilates!! Or like 7 day wtv! Just like a mini series challenge :)
More beginner would be nice
Yes. Id love this
Agree
Yes more beginner classes would be great. Thank you so much. so inspiring.
Her other vids are just too difficult 🤣 tried it
I don’t usually comment, but this is my first Pilates video back in a few months break due to distraction, burnout/mental health. I was doing Nicole about 4-6 days a week for months. It is so good to start again. I want to get back where I was. Please pray for me that I was fall back into love with this routine to enjoy my body at work again 🎉❤🙏thank you Nicole!
I hope we can both get back on this journey together!

This was very cool to read! Thank you for sharing. This was encouraging. I liked that you kept going and never gave up on yourself.
I haven't worked out in so long. This was a perfect "welcome back body!". Thank you! I look forward to doing more of your videos!
I'm so happy you enjoyed it! ❤️
That's so great. Good for you girl. Well done🙏. 💞💞❤🧡💛
I’m so beyond out of shape but this is so fun and relaxing omg
Me too❤
so real
thank you very much. this made my day. my grandma passed away last week and your videos are the only thing that bring me joy. I don’t even take part in the workout, I just watch you do it and listen to the music. thank you so much for putting a smile on my face every day at 6 o clock when I sit down to watch my scheduled work out video.
I wish you all the best in life.
I hope you're doing better. I am really sorry for your loss.
I hope you’re doing better ❤️ may she Rest In Peace .

Nice for when you don't feel like working out, but also don't want to lose your motivation.

Yup 😂😂😂
I'm a 28 year old guy with no previous interest in or experience of pilates, but this convinced me. It was so gentle on the body but I know I'll feel this in my hips and glutes tomorrow. I'll definitely try other videos of yours!
Yay! I'm so pleased that you are now convinced! I hope you enjoy the other classes as well. 💗
This is a perfect video! The instructions were super clear so I didn’t have to keep watching the screen to see how to do it and it was so relaxing while being engaging and a bit challenging as well! Didn’t even realize it had been 25 minutes!

If this is beginners, yes I definitely want to see more beginners workouts bec it didn’t feel like a beginners class! It had some challenging moves but I really liked it! ❤️
i agree, it is more challenging than the 20min video

I absolutely can! 😊 I'm so happy you enjoyed it and find it helpful. Sending you lots of love. ❤️
Forreal! This is such a good one for abs and legs, a beginner one for arms would be awesome!
that would be amazing if you could I have re used this video every other day this week 😂😂
Wow, I've never done pilates.and this one is the first one i try and i paused and quit at minute 7 because I wasn't able to do it. This is more like I do exercise but I'm beginning pilates. And that's not my case sadly
I love when you do your videos outside! The greenery is so calming.
I love that this is actually a beginner level. Would love to see more of these as I’m working out again after a year and a half due to knee surgery and rehabbing it. This beginners video is the perfect level for me to reawaken my muscles. Her cues on alignment and coordinated breathing really help.
I've been doing this for almost a week and I'm already seeing and feeling results. Thank you
this is definitely one of my favorite pilates workouts, it’s perfect for a beginner. Normally I pause other workouts and take long breaks because they can be so difficult but I didn’t pause a single time during this one and it went by so quickly. I feel energized and relaxed, I’m definitely gonna do this workout as much as I can.

I did it! I can’t believe it. Please, Miss Nicole, keep talking. I am blind and many workout videos aren’t accessible to me. Please.
Hi, Nicole!
I’ve only been doing this workout for a week and I’m already seeing a difference in my abs!
Thank you so much for this video!
Yay I'm so happy to hear that ❤️
Nicole, I am returning to working out after a couple months' hiatus.
Such a good intro to pilates! I love the glute tap after a hard workout -- it makes me proud of the work I put in!
I'm so happy you enjoyed it ❤️ you should feel proud of yourself! 💪
This is such a perfect way to get your body moving first thing in the morning. I have started incorporating pilates into my morning routine and have left my more intense workouts for after work and wow, what a difference. Thank you Nicole!

making it part of your routine is the best way to keep it up! and when you get more confident with this, i’d suggest cardio as well- pilates is great for toning and building up some muscle, and then you can put them to use :D good luck with it!!

long rant incoming but that's just how thankful i am: i dont typically like to exercise and i find gyms very intimidating. i started my 2024 resolution of moving more by following along to one of ur videos and it helped me get over the DAY 1 hurdle. a few weeks later my dog died and i've since lost that momentum and any drive i had to improve my physical health. but today i decided it was time to get back to it and what better place to re-start my journey than where it began in the first place. so thank you for the enjoyable workouts and for reminding me that, despite my low fitness level, i do enjoy the burn ! ❤❤
You got this ❤
I'm really a beginner and this really shookt my entire core.

Day 2: Done (have to stop once in a while because my abdomen really hurts)
I just have to say that this video is so so so well explained.
I am completely blind and finding workout and Pilates videos that I can follow audibly instead of visually is a real struggle.
So thank you 😊
Wow thank you so much, Hailey! I am so happy that you were able to follow along audibly! Lots of love to you. ❤️

This is my first time doing Pilates and I had the best experience, I'm in love with Pilates and with your channel, thank you so much 💗✨🧚🏻♀
I enjoyed this so much. It didn’t feel like 26:39 minutes at all. It’s not easy for a beginner but I like a nice relaxing challenge. I will be doing this for a week and move to the more advanced ones gradually.
Yes beginners workouts are so useful! Builds you up!!
I'm so happy you like them! 😊

Day2: Feeling the burn!! 🔥
I’m really liking the workout, and I woke up extra de-bloated! YAY
Keep going 🤗
Day 1: done! (I felt the burn in those leg circles)! So happy I finished the whole thing! 1/9/24
Day 2: done! (I felt the burn in my legs again, but this time I was able to fully hold my plank and stretch from side to side way easier for the last exercise)! 1/10/24
Well done!! This is my first day, wishing you the best!
Wonderful session! My abs & glutes definitely felt it. I’m getting my Pilates certification next month, after teaching yoga for 15yrs. I’m going to do a class with u everyday, to prep my body for the teaching sessions. Thank you for a great class☺️💖
Love your style of teaching and presentation - would love to have some more long 1 hour pilates intermediate workouts!
TBH, she's my fav style thus far out of all the yoga and pilates videos I have tried.
This was such a good beginners workout! I hate planks so that walking in and out onto knees was such as good variation for beginners! Thanks Nicole xx

Which 20 min video? I'd like to try it.
This was honestly really nice.
