Hi kassandra, I am 61 yrs old never did yoga I have limited range of motion like crossing my legs my knees don’t go flat on the ground like yours do, does that matter
@@ginofenderI'm obviously not Kassandra but I started her yoga routines at age 62, am now 65. You'll increase your range of motion by beiing consistent. Keep it up! It has also strengthened my body. Happy yoga journey!
35 year old Army Veteran here. Your content is low key life changing. I appreciate how thoughtful and assuring you are in these videos. The reminders to keep the slow deep breathing, the points of focus for each stretch, guiding us through aknowledging what type a day we want to have. The word that comes to me most in those moments is mindfullness. Its such a blessing to be able to walk away from following these videos with a relaxed and refreshed body and a reminder to be intenionally good to myself and others through out the rest of the day.
I so appreciate that you keep us in check with all body parts when we are doing yoga and we don't have to watch the monitor or our phones we can simply listen to you and keep our bodies where they need to be to do the yoga poses correctly. I love that!

I have struggled my entire life with my body image. I am very obese and I never stretch. I think this is the first time I've done any kind of yoga. You are amazing. You don't make me feel bad about myself or like I have to push myself too much. I am a super emotional person and totally not tearing up rn. As a beginner and non work out or organized fitness person who gets around 6,000 steps in a day I love how instructional but calm these videos are. You explain what to do do clearly and give me time to get it right for maximum benefit. I am also slightly dyslexic and the left/right instructions always take me longer than most to figure out but the way you do them is great for me, I really appreciate it. After practicing yoga for 15 years I fell out of love with it. So glad I found you, I intend to do your 10 minute practice each morning and work up to longer. I do a lot of cardio but I know I need to stretch more, I am nearly 78 and the fittest I have ever been in my life
My intention for the day is to move with ease - yesterday was very busy (and did a workout at the gym!) so being gentle, calm, and moving in a way which helps me recover without hurting. Thank you for all your videos which help me to stretch, centre, and feel prepared for the day ahead! 😊❤️🙏

I’m 35 with 2 kids (a toddler and a 6mo baby) I’m a full time dental hygienist with a husband on a different working shift than I am, so I’m pretty busy but these 10min sessions are perfect to start my day! I also love how you remind me to relax and that this is not meant to stress me out if I’m not as flexible as I used to be lol! Your voice is super calming and pleasant too! I’m subscribing for sure!

I've been in love with your videos for well over 2 years now. Even through my last pregnancy I was always doing your videos! ♡ A few weeks ago I had a medical emergency and was sent to the hospital in ambulance. I've been recovering from having 4 consecutive seizures and today was the first day in weeks that I've been able to do any sort of purposeful movement, (besides my normal house up keep and mommy duties). This is just what I need to help me slowly get some feel-good movement back without being scared of over doing it , thank you so much ❤

I’ve been chronically ill and have had chronic pain for… 22 years (I got started early). I’m doing better than I used to. I was bed bound for a time, migraines, couldn’t stand for more than 5-10 minutes without a back brace, and needed surgery and four months of physical therapy to even start to be close to normal again. I’m doing so much better, and I’m thankful. But I’ve been slipping a bit the last few weeks, and a new semester is starting. I want to get my health a little more solid, and movement is big in that. It’s been raining for two days, and this makes my pain worse. So, here I am, trying to at least stretch, and hopefully feel up to doing some housework. I know enough now to know that I NEED movement. Sometimes it’s just difficult. But that’s no reason not to try. Thank you for this and your other videos; it’s a real service.

Im doing yoga from the time of lockdown 2020...when I was 16 it really helped me to strengthen and tone my body and increase my metabolism,Im active throughout the day,,this gentle and simple poses does help to massage my whole body .... feeling great after doin this .... I used to be into yoga a lot. I was in teacher training and everything. I haven’t done it in probably five years in any consistent way. I started with this today. My body feels like it has a Rigamortus. But my God it felt better after. I think I will do this every day. Thank you so much.

After practicing yoga for 15 years I fell out of love with it. So glad I found you, I intend to do your 10 minute practice each morning and work up to longer. I do a lot of cardio but I know I need to stretch more, I am nearly 78 and the fittest I have ever been in my life
My intention for the day is to move with ease - yesterday was very busy (and did a workout at the gym!) so being gentle, calm, and moving in a way which helps me recover without hurting. Thank you for all your videos which help me to stretch, centre, and feel prepared for the day ahead! 😊❤️🙏

I’m 35 with 2 kids (a toddler and a 6mo baby) I’m a full time dental hygienist with a husband on a different working shift than I am, so I’m pretty busy but these 10min sessions are perfect to start my day! I also love how you remind me to relax and that this is not meant to stress me out if I’m not as flexible as I used to be lol! Your voice is super calming and pleasant too! I’m subscribing for sure!

I had an ice slip last Saturday and yesterday was awful, I started my day today with one short meditation and this wonderful 10-minute body stretch, I think this way of taking care of myself will help me recover more quickly. I've been in love with your videos for well over 2 years now. Even through my last pregnancy I was always doing your videos! ♡
A few weeks ago I had a medical emergency and was sent to the hospital in ambulance. I've been recovering from having 4 consecutive seizures and today was the first day in weeks that I've been able to do any sort of purposeful movement, (besides my normal house up keep and mommy duties).
This is just what I need to help me slowly get some feel-good movement back without being scared of over doing it , thank you so much ❤

This is just what I needed today. I've been practicing on and off for years, but I love coming back to gentle beginner classes now and then. It helps me to keep my form on point and to ease into my body for the day, especially when I'm feeling stiff and delicate.

I’ve been chronically ill and have had chronic pain for… 22 years (I got started early). I’m doing better than I used to. I was bed bound for a time, migraines, couldn’t stand for more than 5-10 minutes without a back brace, and needed surgery and four months of physical therapy to even start to be close to normal again.
I’m doing so much better, and I’m thankful. But I’ve been slipping a bit the last few weeks, and a new semester is starting. I want to get my health a little more solid, and movement is big in that.
It’s been raining for two days, and this makes my pain worse. So, here I am, trying to at least stretch, and hopefully feel up to doing some housework. I know enough now to know that I NEED movement. Sometimes it’s just difficult. But that’s no reason not to try.

Im doing yoga from the time of lockdown 2020...when I was 16 it really helped me to strengthen and tone my body and increase my metabolism,Im active throughout the day,,this gentle and simple poses does help to massage my whole body .... feeling great after doin this .... this is the first time ive tried yoga, ive been having a lot of issues with my posture and stress lately and all i can say is wow. i feel a lot more calm and comfortable in my movements, i dont really know how to explain it…. ill definitely try to add this to my morning routine this year!

I used to be into yoga a lot. I was in teacher training and everything. I haven’t done it in probably five years in any consistent way. I started with this today. My body feels like it has a Rigamortus. But my God it felt better after. I think I will do this every day. Thank you so much.
I would just like to say a big thank you for this video and your other beginner ones. My husband has finally agreed to join me on the mat and your clear, deatiled instructions are something he can follow. He's an engineer, he likes precise 😉 I don't have to stop and start the playback as he finds his way around and he only swears a little 😂
