    Beans and legumes are extremely difficult to digest as they are both carbs (very complex) and protein . I am actually very intolerant to red kidney beans (and lentils too) - and raw kidney beans can actually kill you so SOAK legumes overnight and I really would recommend taking a food intolerance test before picking up the items in the video.
    In general for gut health, buy good quality DIGESTIVE ENZYMES (for me it works better than probiotics). Use herbs especially coriander, oregano, turmeric. Supplements like milk thistle, burdock Root, vitamin B (helps digest fat) are soo good.

    When I was 16-17 I had terrible gut health. It started out with specific foods that would trigger stomach cramps and eventually it just seemed random. Didn't seem to matter what I ate or drank, I would just randomly get extreme pain in my stomach. It eventually wasn't a problem years later but we never found out what caused the issue. We thought it was Gluten sensitivity but it turned out to not be that.

      That's most likely an allergy. Start keeping a journal of what you were doing/eating for the last 12 hours, every time you get them. Hopefully you'll be able to narrow something down. If not, try a food elimination diet. It takes will-power and discipline, but food allergies are very serious and tend to get worse with exposure. Good luck!

      S r. That pain your feeling is good. Your bodys reaction of letting you know, its getting rid of inflammation, adipose cells, riding your colon, small intestine, large intestine and appendix from old bacteria and parasites which has been in you for the longest. Once the pain is over, after you keep drinking ACV, you wont feel pain, but doesnt mean you have to stop, theres still alot in our digestive tract walls. Mucus and all. Continue to prosper.

    • @rubywarda6871
      @rubywarda6871 5 років тому +1

      Mix acv with a cup of warm water and fat ( coconut oil, oils or ghee ) and sip slowly. The fat coats the inner lining of the stomach and esophagus so it doesn’t get irritated.

    • @brian4019
      @brian4019 4 роки тому

      ACV is very very acidic, and can easily irritate the digestive system. I use it to clean my showerhead and would never drink it. For more info I would look at medical sites, the health benefits of ACV are mostly baloney.

    “Hydrochloric acid is like an enzyme we produce to break food down.” I know the valley accent doesn’t connote intelligence, but Hcl is not an enzyme. It’s acid. We produce stomach acid to help with digestion. The pancreas produces enzymes. There are few other “so so important” statements. Please be more thorough. Sounds like I’m at a yoga class and Jenny is explaining why she drinks Kefir.

      No. No. No.no.no. no. No.
      I'm a CMA and Phleb. My pathologist would be screaming at you right now. You do not want to eat or drink highly acidic foods with gastrointestinal issues.
      Best to follow a "bland" diet. Cut out hard to digest foods that require heavy acid production (like whole, unprocessed grains) and to cut back (or entirely remove) acidic foods like tomatos, vinegars, citrus fruits etc.

      Just google a "bland" diet. Any gastrointerologist would recommend it to people suffering with ulcers, GERD, hernias or acid reflex disease.

    What about the sugars in that granola, shouldn't we avoid sugar?

      Jzues 3 she did list the ingredients in the granola. There is no added sugars. Just dates. So whole food.

      suzette jacobson I don’t know what she would say now but in the past she recommended lemon juice and apple cider vinegar in the morning. It increases your digestion. Mucus means you probably need to eat more steamed or cooked foods and not raw for at least a little while.

    An aide to good gut health (in addition to healthy, clean eating) is to take a good probiotic, one that has to be refrigerated. I have taken one for more than 20 years. I will be 60 this month, and am in good health. I take no medicines and my blood work and blood pressure is always great. My husband says I barely look 42!

    Mung beans are ‘cooling foods’. If eaten near your menstrual date, your period will come earlier than usual and would give you bad cramps. It’s good to eat it but not too often. It’s best to eat them to bring down temperature from a fever.

    So, I found out today that “Gut bacteria also produce hundreds of neurochemicals that the brain uses to regulate basic physiological processes as well as mental processes such as learning, memory and mood. For example, gut bacteria manufacture about 95 percent of the body's supply of serotonin, which influences both mood and GI activity.”
