I can not stress this enough. If you have Acne, It's most likely that you have an overgrowth of Candida in your gut. Fruit sugars can actually feed the yeast, and make your acne worse. Obviously, this isn't the case for everyone. I have Candida and I can't say I've noticed breakouts from fruit. But I do know people who have. I just would like to explain I completely went off dairy for one month and still I was breaking out nearly everyday yes that's right but I also was under stress at the time.I am not that stressed anymore but I am back to eating dairy and I really don't notice a difference on my skin with becoming worse from eating dairy again. My naturopath said it is actually the sugar content you need to look out for in dairy foods that makes it not good for skin or your health. For people who are lactose intolerance this is when you should not be eating dairy otherwise dairy is good to have in the diet.
Turmeric is great anti-inflammatory tool to have at home (you can make "golden milk" with turmeric, non-dairy milk, black pepper, cinnamon, a bit of ginger), that really helps. Going dairy and gluten-free is also the best thing people could do, it also helps with digestion and auto-immune problems btw

Exactly. She understands body chemistry. She has 10 years of schooling instead of 2 that a nutritionist has. A dietician is 5 years, and a masters/PhD in food and nutrition is 8-10 years
Our local pharmacy is attached to a health store. They do both pharma and natural. Pharmacist want to heal people, true health. Many nutritionist I know do not even follow what they teach and are not as knowledgeable as holistic dieticians and Doctors of dietetics. They eat fast food all the time and they end up furthering their careers as they are not paid well (almost minimum wage here), or they find a new career. So it’s all about the individual and the learning they choose to do outside of their origin of education. The best teacher, lawyers, doctors and truly anyone is someone who never stops learning.

Add less water / milk. Also try grinding the seeds first as this can make it thicker. Make sure you mix it really thoroughly

I would use a straw when drinking it, that might protect your teeth a bit:)

Tumeric latte is not complicated to make. Just add a little bit of turmeric to any milk and you can honey, cinnamon, black pepper etc

It's great for those with digestive issues and to top you up on protein if your diet is lacking. Always choose sugar free
