No worries about pausing, we have heard this before. For those who are upset, they can go listen to the entire song without a reaction. The rest of us are here for a reaction to the music we love.
Facts. Period 😂🎉.
thank you lol perfectly said.
Great reaction. I’m 68 now and watching reactions make me realize how lucky we were back in the day. We just assumed musicians would be good!
We had a fire hose of great music coming at us. I never thought that would end. Sadly, music today feels empty and without soul. AI? How could a computer ever replicate? Don't I want to be around for that.
53 and love reaction vids too. Especially from the younger generation
By gosh we were lucky growing up when we did. 70s had the best music
@@leannlaplante3643 totally agree.
You got that right!!!
I was 16 when I first heard this song. 50 years ago. I haven’t been the same since.
The Madison square concert is brilliant, watch that when you have time😂 Led Zeppelin are THE GODS of rock, simple as that.❤🙏
Yeah msg their best live
Yes I love the version at MSG (1973) better too, this might have been around the time Plant had throat surgery.
This isn’t the best version. Robert Plant was sick. Still great though.
The drummer is only the greatest blues/rock drummer ever!
also Robert Plant is best vocalist ever so..
Jimmy Paige!!!
I just love it,when a young kid like yourself discovers Zeppelin. Your life is about to change forever. Enjoy ☘
Led Zep are friken legends! Enjoy your Led Zep journey, you definitely won't regret it, all their songs are lit. And your right you can pause all you want ......but not during solos.
Greatest rock band of all time, gods of rock, you need more Zeppelin in your life 😊
You can't leave JOURNEY OUT with STEVE PERRY'S VOICE
@ronhunt9396, Look into the future ' is one people miss, Perry was a new comer .
LEGEND🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Legends absolutely. But if they were gods Bonzo would have bodily risen from the dead by now like our Lord Jesus Christ.
Dude, you really want your mind blown? Watch a few of these live performances from the '70s, then go watch the live concert for Celebration Day in '07, where they reunited for one concert. There were 20 million tickets requests for 9,000 seats at the O2 arena. It'll blow your mind how good they sounded 30 years later (without drummer John Bonham, who had passed on, but his son Jason in his place). Great reaction!
Yes exactly what Kevin said.
Except that wasn't Led Zeppelin.
@@Reno_SlimHow much closer could you get? It was Bonzo's son. And they absolutely killed it.
I agree!! In my opinion it's the best version of Kashmir ever recorded.
I saw them live in Detroit in the 70s
Not only was Robert sick he was still recovering from surgery to have nodules removed from his vocal chords. Just for yourself listen to this live from 1973 also at MSG.
OMG - You are in for a ride!!! Led Zeppelin is the very best band ever. Jimmy Page is a guitar god!! Yes, pick any song from Led Zeppelin - you can't go wrong!
It's a testament to the brilliance of Led Zepelllin that in their most iconic song (out of dozens that are nothing short of sheer genius), they hold back on introducing the greatest drummer to ever draw breath until the second half of the song.
Pause as much as you want, you’re bloody well right it’s your channel.
ENJOY IT!
You ABSOLUTELY will have a different experience when you listen straight through; or to the entire ALBUM in one sitting.
Or live. (Often VASTLY different than a studio cut)
It’s all fantastic.
Enjoy it however.
You do you
👊🏻🫡
The keyboard player John paul jones is playing bass at the same time with foot pedals. Always blows my mind.
Since I've been Loving You, MSG 73, a must see
Led Zeppelin does not

Led Zeppelin
plugs in to your SOUL ❤
I would have chosen the Madison Square Garden version, but that's fine 😉 Led Zeppelin are always great! ❤️
Robert Plant voice
Jimmy Page guitar
John Paul Jones bass and keyboard
John Bonham drums
This was the first performance that came up when I search Led Zeppelin. I'll definitely check out their Madison Square Garden version though! Thanks for watching!
@MollyBoyTV Understandable, people who requested this should have given you a link to a proper video..
Maybe next time, if no link is provided, pick the official video.
Then you know you'll have a decent video with decent music
Check out the tribute to LZ live at the Kennedy Center performed by Heart with the band members watching...simply amazing!!
THIS!!!!!!!
Absolutely, best live version ever!!!
Welcome to the greatest band to ever grace this planet .. Enjoy the ride
MollyBoy, You can't go wrong with ANY Zep song...seriously... there are no bad songs..they are the greatest band ever...just look at the views for any of there songs... You should try "You Shook Me" or "Dazed and Confused" or "The Lemon Song"....I could go on forever...lol. Nice reaction BTW.
Jimmy Page was already doing well in the business as a studio musician in the 1960s and played the guitar on studio recordings of all the bands known at the time. He then became solo guitarist with the then very successful Yardbirds and founded Led Zeppelin after their dissolution in 1968. In a very short time they became the biggest and most successful band of the late sixties and seventies. With John Bonham, who was still relatively unknown at the time, Page had brought one of the best drummers in rock history into his band. The 19-year-old Robert Plant, with his then unique singing style, was recommended to him by another singer. Unfortunately, Plant is a bit hoarse at this concert and doesn't do the loud part of Stairway to Heaven very well. Not to be forgotten is the humble John Paul Jones on bass and keyboards. Like Page, he was a studio musician in the 1960s and both knew each other from that time.
Led Zeppelin were a band that couldn't be defined stylistically. Her repertoire is enormous. From blues to folk to hard rock, you can find everything on their albums. They never repeated or copied themselves. Every song is different. Greetings from Germany
Jimmy Page on guitar Robert Plant singer John Paul Jones bass guitar and John Bonhan on drums.
I understand the pausing, if this is the first time hearing Stairway to Heaven, my god!!!welcome down the rabbit hole of the best rock band ever 👍
This song came out 52 years ago in 1971 and still stands the test of time.
You need to listen to Heart’s version of this played in front of the surviving members of Led Zeppelin
More Led Zeppelin please. Thank you
As far as background goes, I can tell you that the drummer is John Bonham…. He passed away very young….. his child then took over drumming for the band….
Led Zeppelin are the GOAT ,,
There are so many great bands and I love them all, but for me, Led Zeppelin will always be THE band. I love watching young people discover them ❤❤❤.
This is the greatest rock song ever made, I still remember the first time I heard it in 1983! I have the studio version etched in my brain, so as good as this is, I still rather the studio version. Despite the claims that it is overplayed, I still get the same feeling every I hear it! A masterpiece for sure!
If you want to see your channel blow up, do more Led Zeppelin. Those of us that grew up in the 60’s and 70’s are die hard fans, and Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band ever. Start with their first album, first song and go from there. The word will spread that there’s a new reactor to Led Zeppelin. Led Heads are amazing fans. We have all gone down the rabbit hole of Led Zep. Good Luck! PS just subscribed - please, please do more Led Zeppelin 🔥
I'll definitely be doing more! Thanks for subscribing!
I agree. For those of us who grew up on LZ, it's just in our DNA. When we can watching someone younger who is experiencing them for the first time, it's such a joy for us. It's kind of like welcoming someone new into our crazy LZ fan base. It's sheer happiness for us.
I will subscribe to your channel if you start playing more Zeppelin, l'm one of the biggest "Led Head" still around 🤟🎶
“Fool In The Rain”
It’s unreal.
The drum
Solo alone is legendary.
Been in love with this one since the day In Thru The Out Door dropped.
Greatest band to ever grace the planet! Jimmy Page greatest guitarist ever...John Bonham greatest drummer ever...John Paul Jones...greatest bassist/keyboardist/mandolin player ever...Robert Plant greatest frontman/harmonica player!!
Led Zeppelin does not

Led Zeppelin
plugs in to your SOUL ❤️
try Frank Zappa 'Stairway to heaven'
🤟
But not their greatest effort here. For certain. They’ve been better , much better! Versions both live and studio..
@@36karpatoruski yep need 73 at MSG to be blown away
@@seacrestboxers1787I know, I have that version. It’s why I made the comment in the first place.
Zeppelin Dazed and Confused
When young reactors say "that was a long intro' i want to shout 'it's the song, the whole song and nothing but the song!'. They're written that way to hear the whole experience.
Quick edit. I must be among the few who prefer this to MSG, which i have on DVD and love.
Whether it’s the whole song or not, it’s still a long intro
Love Led Zeppelin. They are unmatched.
Robert Plant and Freddie Mercury..2 of the greatest rock voices ever!!❤
I'm in the states.
They played this as the last song every single dance in high school . You knew it was your last chance to ask her to dance :)
They are superb. The greatest. Mr Jimmy Page on guitar the GOAT
I enjoyed your reaction. I remember being at University and hearing the song played very loudly in the dorms--it was epic.
This live 1973 at msg!! Magnificent!! Robert had vocal cord surgery...sounded much better in 1973 and 1979!! And 1969...70...71...72
This is the 75 NOT at Madison Square Garden one as it says Live a Earls Court .... we are far more familiar with the 73 one for sure.... This one is a bit tamer with less of the scream.... that was so unique for the earlier version I actually prefer. He no doubt is saving his voice here as he probably was warned he needed to to protect it.
I agree. MSG is best.
This is one of the most iconic songs ever made.. frontman Robert Plant is an amazing performer. 1975!! No autotune, no crazy production techniques no bullshit.. guitarist Jimmy Page is an nutcracking performer. This double neck guitar is awesome and is so difficult to play due to its size. The solo is a chapter for it self. Pure improvisation every time it’s played. Page could improvise his solo for several hours if not stopped.. this is amazing.
U have to listen to studio ver,, Jimmy was also such a craftsman
Just subbed after watching your Floyd reactions and then I came across this one : )
Try Immigrant Song, Dazed and Confused, Kashmir, Heartbreaker,Whole lotta love, In My Time Of Dying ..... there are too many to list lol Just start from their 1st album and work your way through, there are no bad songs on any of their albums and you will not be disappointed.
One of the most, if not THE most, influencial rock drummers of all time. He got eveyone playing just a little differently, myself included.
🙏❤💫 Oh the 60's and 70's! ❤❣
Masterpiece!!!!!!!!
I reeeeeally enjoyed watching your reaction to one of my favorite songs from my favorite band. I was lucky enough to see them as my 1st concert live in 1976 at the NEW Pontiac Silverdome just built for the Detroit Lions, they jammed 105,000 people in there. Bad Company never showed up as the warm up band so we had 3 hours to jump the tiers and work our way down the main floor to the stage. When Led Zeppelin finally appeared on the stage the crowd surged forward and I was pushed up against the stage. I can tell you that this was the most amazing show I have ever seen in my life and it was such a treat to be that close. Robert Plants' abdomen, diaphragm and larynx were all moving with every note like nothing I have ever seen. He really pours it out and Jimmy Page was already my favorite guitarist but when he pulled out the violin string to get that sound in "Whole Lotta Love", I was blown away at how . JPJ and Bonzo were like machines with internal metronomes that give them their unique and never repeated groove and back beat. It was like being hypnotized watching each solo lick. I also enjoyed watching you very much and will enjoy more from you as I Liked and Subscribed to your channel. I hope you reach all of your goals...
When a song contends with the Ode to Joy for greatest song ever made, it's impossible to define the best performance.
You have to listen to Whole Lotta Love or the Immigrant Song!
Look for stairway to heaven covered by Heart at the Kennedy center it's amazing
Awesome honest reaction. I watch your channel to see you react to music that I love. I dont watch it expecting you to know everything about the band members & I don't mind at all how many time you pause or comment because that's what I'm expecting to see. If I want to see a song without that then geeze Louise I'd not watch it from a reaction. I find you refreshing & real to watch. Cheers & Peace Out!!
Thank you that means a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Ill definitely do more Led Zeppelin videos!
Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love (Official Music Video) and also "Kashmir" Live at Celebration Day in 2007. Rock gods then and always.
You Shook me by Led Zeppelin ❤
Some people do pause too much. But it's a reaction video; if i didn't want to hear what you think I'd just watch the original video. You do what you think is best. It's like anything else; the more you do this the more you'll get the hang of what feels right. Don't listen to the haters!
Earl's Court version is the best!!
JIMMY PAGE ONE OF THE BEST GUITARIST EVER SOME SAY #1
Greatest rock band ever. Now, watch live at MSG for another view of them doing this song. They never do it the same way twice.m so versatile.
Definitely your show...do as you want and don't hide your emotions. Saw these guys in 1977 in Seattle Washington..nothing but greatness through whole concert...great reaction 🎤🎶🇨🇦
Every solo Jimmy ever played he improvised! Studio or live. They never played the same song the same way twice. BEST BAND EVER!!
Ps this is r9bwrts WORST year vocally. He lost the INSANE power and range he had pre 73. He's been getting better ever since
When ever you can...live is where they excel!
7-17-1977 in Seattle. It was an epic experience.
If people are not watching for your reaction to the song, then they have chosen unwisely. That's the best part of these videos is seeing someone's first experience with a song. Helps remind you of when you first heard the song. Do you and don't listen to the haters, but if you have haters then you're doing something positive. 🤘👍
By far my favourite version from Jimmy this one
I loved your reaction. If you continue to react to songs from my era ( 60's & 70's) i will definitely subscribe.
The song changed every time they played it, check out the MSG from 1973 version, it's a mind blower. I think you'd enjoy Since I've been loving you, also from MSG 1973. Can't go wrong with the Might Zeppelin. Great reaction.
So some background. 2 studio musicians got together [Kinda like Steely Dan] because they got tired of playing on tracks with other bands [see Rolling Stones, Herman's Hermits], and said That looks like more fun! Kid you not Jimy Page tried to get the rhythm section from a band called The Who. See them too.
You need more Zeppelin in your life , in fact we all do.. Travelling Riverside Blues is a beast of a song. Hi MollyBoyTV.
In my time of dying live at earls court is the best
The kings of Rock and Roll. So glad I got to grow up with music like this and actually got to see them live. I miss great music.
Look up there greatest hits are all fabulous
Greatest rock band ever!
The most perfect musical composition ever recorded!
Led Zeppelin is best live.
Thanks man, glad to see you enjoying the greatest band EVER. Rain Song, live MSG '73, The Wanton Song, Ramble On, I can't quit you Baby, pretty much not a bad song in the catalog!
You've found Led Zeppelin, the GOAT ! They are the Reason later rock bands existed. A tip for any of their best use Live at Madison Square Garden 1973. Stairway is better Jimmy's guitar solo is better. Bear in mind they never played the same song the same way twice😂 by 75 Jimmy was starting his degree in practical pharmaceuticals, which lasted until 85. Honestly listen to Stairway from 73 at MSG is 🔥 you will love it more , so more tears I promise, then for a other exceptional guitar solo the bluesy track Since I've been Loving You, oh wow.
This was the greatest song in ROCK history.❤
Don’t forget, us 70’s 80’s kids, need to see you react to hearing Bon Scott ac/dc “let there be rock”, then you’ll realise who good they were.
I chuckled when you said you tried looking for a music video for this song. There weren't any until the 80's came along. Bands were either live or on albums. I think something like Queen's Bohiemium Rapsody was one of the 1st music videos because they couldn't keep up with appareling live on TV shows to support the very long #1 position in the UK charts
There really are no "bad" Led Zep songs, but you did choose the best of the best with this one. Great reaction, as usual. You give great respect to the music, which I appreciate; even when you don't think you'll like a song, you give it a chance, as with "Comfortably Numb," and, like with that song, you often find out that you actually DO like it. If you'd like to hear where Zep came from - and, part of the origin of rock music - check out their version of the blues classic, "You Shook Me." Each band-member is showcased, and Robert Plant's vocals are just amazing.
I did some research on Led Zeppelin and found out 2 of the members are from the same place as me. There are many great bands from Birmingham though so I'm not surprised! Thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked it!
Hi it gets better like I said zeppelin are pink floyds only peers both are great in their own way also it depends on the mood your in.
Rock. Gods!! Thanks for giving me renewed appreciation for the music of my youth ❤ Great reaction
The “Heart” version now. It’s a must.
Bro,,!!! Your reactions are great.!!!
Best rock drummer ever. Love your reaction but I don't think this was the best version of Stairway.. It's great to see them live though (:
I think you said this song is building, great point. Jimmy Page described this as accelerating without racing
Best live of stairway with outrageous guitar solo is live at Madison square garden
LED ZEPPELIN really didn't make videos most vids are concert footage !!! Great reaction mollyboy !!! 😁✌️🔥🎸💯...
You've got a good ear for spotting the scope of how a song is progressing.
You should watch some of Eric Clapton's live music especially the song called 'Old Love' the guitar solos are amazing, plus I guarantee that you'll know 2 of his songs called 'Layla' and 'Wonderful Tonight' but he's in the same league as Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin but with different styles
First time must be 73 live
Let's go led heads
Oh the JOY! To watch your face as you react to Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven! Oh my! To see a first reaction! My favorite band and fave song! I am 70 now and listened to this when they first came out with it and it still gives me chills to hear it! A Total Masterpiece and lyrics so deep! Thank you for a delightful reaction!❤
Great reaction to a beautiful piece. But if you want the song that Led Zeppelin themselves said they think is their Masterpiece, check out, Led Zeppelin - Kashmir (live in Knebworth 1979). That is just a STUNNING performance that is a must see.
So glad I grew up with this, gone are the days when you had to have real talent to make it !
Love your channel young man. I saw this concert in 75 and it was emotional listening to Jimmy Page. Listen to drummer John Bonham “ Moby Dick” . ❤️
1990 is the very last time I saw Led Zeppelin in concert in Buffalo NY. Sure do wish I could go back!!🤗🔴
Best way to discover Led Zeppelin = Start at the beginning and go all the way to the end. Song by song, track by track, album by album, from LED ZEPPELIN I all the way to CODA.
Jimmy Page is not only a fantastic guitarist and legendary songwriter, but a genius producer in the studio. It's a helluva roller coaster, and Zep doesn't have one bad song!
1973 AT MSG IS AT THEIR PEAK U CAN HEAR IN 75 ITS GOING DOWN HILL AND OVER BY 79
Greatest band ever and I saw them live in 73!!!
Please check out the Heart cover of this from the Kennedy Center honours for Led Zeppelin. It's from 2012 and it is the most incredible live performance I have seen in my life. John Bonham's (RIP) son Jason plays drums on it, the 3 living members of Led Zeppelin are in awe of it. I've lost count of how many times I've watched/listened to it. And it always brings me to tears.
Ann Wilson's vocals are Truly, truly incredible.
