Way back in my teenage years, this video was from MSG in 1973 and included in the movie "The Song Remains the Same", when we went to a concert we pretty much heard what was on the album you had been listening to for months on end. The only exception was some of the songs might've been a little longer due to some extra solo work or jamming by the band. This song was 8 minutes and change on Zeppelin IV, in concert it would range from 10 to near 20 minutes. One thing I noticed here in the live presentation that I've never really paid attention to before is how brilliant the lighting is. It's such a basic setup but so well thought out. If you notice the intro and the verses are a predominantly just a wash of violet with a few pink highlights here and there to show the keyboardist and there is a bit of underlighting on the vocalist so you could see his eyes and facial expressions as he delivers the lyric... but there is that one single splash of gold upon Robert Plant as well. It makes you focus on him with its backlight sort of Illuminating a Halo in his hair. Very subtle, and then the colors begin to expand and get more voluminous as the song moves into the solo etcetera. Really really makes a lot out of a very simple setup.
