Use a multimeter to probe the input side of the converter to see if it's getting the expected voltage, often around 5V or 12V, depending on the console design. Since you mentioned no oscillation on the choke, it suggests the converter may not be switching properly. An inductor (choke) should typically show some activity (ripple voltage) if the converter is working. Most DC-to-DC converters have a PWM controller and MOSFET that manage the switching for the voltage regulation. If either of these components is faulty, the converter won't work. Check the MOSFET for short circuits or unusual resistance values. It’s common for MOSFETs in these circuits to fail. If the PWM controller isn’t producing the switching signal, the output will be low. Check for any signal output on the gate of the MOSFET. If there's no switching, the PWM controller might be the problem. Inspect the capacitors around the converter, as bad capacitors can lead to low or missing voltage rails. @Schmukai If the fan spins and both the APU and RAM are heating up but you're still getting the blue light, it might be a deeper issue with the APU or power management. I’d recommend checking the power rails to make sure all voltages and PWM out signals are correct, You need to check the inductors input oscilatioins especially the ones going to the APU and RAM secondry power sections.

@Schmukai I’d recommend checking the GPU and CPU secondary power section's PWM output signals to ensure they're functioning properly. If those signals are off, that could be causing the blue light issue. If everything looks fine there, you might want to try a reflow on the APU as a next step.

At 4:30, I mentioned that connecting the PS3 to the computer via a router, not to the internet is only necessary.

@sport-sf9si After completing the process, the Teensy is usually removed from the PS4. It's only needed temporarily for tasks like dumping or flashing the NOR chip. Once everything is done and working properly, you can disconnect it. Let me know if you have any other questions!

This error is unknown but assumed to be a short either under Southbridge and (H)ANA chip. The 0023 secondary error code for the Xbox 360 console typically deals with the clock chip not responding. Due to most communication passing from the ANA/HANA to the southbridge, the southbridge could also be at fault.A reflow of the southbridge could fix your problem.
