It should not be a 3000 model. This method is for CFW-compatible machines.

Hi did u come across a ps3 slim as soon as powered up turns on by itself and fan goes at full speed then shuts off wat can be the cause thanku
Its eject button may be short-circuited or the circuit related to the eject signal may have shortened.

I have a question If read ps3 syscon to fix ylod will it be accurate?
Somehow, it will give a code related to the power rail for the GPU.
If cause of ylod is gpu power rail then ylod should last 5-7seconds from power on to yellow light and beep. If Its 3 seconds from power on to yellow and beep then its cpu or gpu solderballs ( syscon error 3034)

Never try on super slim with its method.
As far as i know super slim are non jailbreak console but you can use ps3 hen on them
