Question I been trying to figure this out for the longest time already since i bought my ps2 running on free Mcboot and also been googling this as well but haven’t seem to find the answer to it or the solution and I’m hoping u can answer my question and help with this issue I was playing parasite Eve when I got my ps2 running on free Mcboot and I got to the point of the game where it pops up saying to insert this to, but I can’t seem to swipe disc even when I reset the console nothing happens. None of my saved data gets transfers to 2nd disk is there anyway u can help me with this?
Does one of your games consist of two discs, if it consists of two discs, then both of them should have the same region, and if you change the area and play the game again with the other disc, save the data. It will have to be created from the first one and will not be saved with another region disk.

The games should not be installed in the PS2 games folder. Games Hard Drive should not have games in a game folder but they should be in the root of the Hard Drive.
Hello, I have some old version of FreeMcBoot, so whenever I put new game on USB I have to rename it first with SLUS_number.number.Game name so OPL could read the game. Is it the case with new Freemcboot also or no need to rename ISO.?
I never had to rename it in a new Freemcboot. You'll need to have settings in the OPL to show up games. Freemcboot is only to boot it into the freemcboot tools.
any help please ive install Retroarch and ive set it up to show up in the free mcboot menu , but when i click retroarch from the menu it wont load , just take me bk to the free mcboot menu . any help thanx

No my friend you don't have any game or game data deleted you have to reinstall the FreeMCboot on the memory card.

To boot Retroarch directly from freeboot change the boot path as I have done for the OPL.
