Guys, can we all agree that Nox is impossibly cute? ♥😍 Girl, why aren't we together already? Very underrated "B" movie, by the way. People tend to think it's a cheap horror movie, but it's actually so freaking cool. I miss those crazy 90s when movies dared to be original and not trying to please everybody. I can think of something similar: The Faculty. People dismiss it as a simple "teen horror", but it's unique, very well done and with tons of great actors too. I see that you didn't watch it yet! he he 😉

The guy with the little gun in his crotch that played Sex Machine is Tom Savini, and the guy that pulled a knife on him is Greg Nicotero. Savini is a prosthetic makeup artist, stunt performer and film director. Nicotero is a special makeup effects creator, TV producer and director. The have worked together previously in one of the greatest zombie movies ever made; Day of the Dead, in addition to Land of the Dead and Diary of the Dead. They both have an impressive history of working on horror projects.

I appreciate the attention to detail in the film. When Fr. Karras was crippled and dying in the end at the bottom of the stairwell, he was able to squeeze his confessor's hand to confirm accepting his last rites. This is actually a thing IRL. If it is possible, a dying person is supposed to confirm their acceptance of the prayers of their Last Rites in whatever way they can. I spoke to a priest once who told me a similar real life story at the scene of an auto collision. This sort of stuff really happens, and some faithful are unfortunately aware enough to squeeze the priest's hand in a final act of humility and faith. I think it was a beautiful touch to the end of Fr. Karras' life. He was called home as a martyr to see his momma earlier than he thought.

My only problem with this movie is that the vampires are just too weak. Suprise and overwhelming numbers is all that make them the least bit dangerous. With the amount of losses to untrained, poorly armed, normal humans. Its amazing these vampires weren't exterminated centuries ago.

@Nox So Subtle: If you enjoyed 'From Dusk Til Dawn' - recommended another movie to watch, and do a reaction video to: brilliant, 2005, movie 'Frank Miller's SIN CITY.' 'SIN CITY' was also directed [ actually co-directed ( with Frank Miller ) ] by Robert Rodriguez, who directed 'From Dusk Til Dawn.' Rodriguez's good friend, and fellow filmmaker, Quentin Tarentino ( who wrote the screenplay for, and played "Richie Gecko" in, 'From Dusk Til Dawn' ) directed A scene in 'SIN CITY' [ the scene in the "The Big Fat Kill" segment - where "Dwight" ( Clive Owen ) has an imagined conversation with the dead "Jackie Boy" ( Benicio del Toro ) as he's driving to The Pits. ] 'SIN CITY' is based mostly on the first, third, and fourth books from the "SIN CITY" graphic novels ( comic books - for us OLD guys, like me ) by famed comic book writer-illustrator Frank Miller [ of "Daredevil," "Elektra," "The Dark Knight Returns" ( "Batman" story, ) "300," ect. fame. ] Miller also CO- directed 'SIN CITY,' along with Robert Rodriguez. Synopsis ( story summary: ) Set in the miserable town of "Basin City" - Prologue ( pre- the opening credits: ) "The Customer is Always Right," Part 1 - a hitman, known as "The Salesman" ( Josh Hartnett ) and a woman - "The Customer" ( Marley Shelton ) meet on a penthouse balconey. [ This short segment was actually filmed FIRST, as a proof-of-concept - for Rodriguez to convince Miller to allow him to make 'SIN CITY;' ] Opening credits, then; "That Yellow Bastard," Part 1: An aged police detective - "John Hartigan" ( Bruce Willis ) tries to protect a young girl - "Nancy" from becoming the next victim of a serial pedophilic rapist-killer ( "Roark, Jr." ) [ Nick Stahl; ] "The Hard Goodbye:" "Marv" - a tough, scarred-faced, but good-hearted man ( Micky Rourke ) goes on a rampage after a woman whom, as he says, "was kind to me" [ "Goldie" ( Jamie King ) ] is killed. [ co- director Frank Miller has a cameo as the priest in the confessional; ] "The Big Fat Kill:" A private detective - "Dwight McCarthy" ( Clive Owen ) must protect his girlfriend "Shellie" ( Brittany Murphy, ) and then "the girls of Old Town" [ prostitutes - lead by "Gail" ( Rosario Dawson ) ] from a drunken, harassing man - "Jackie Boy" ( Benicio del Toro; ) "That Yellow Bastard," Part 2: "Hartigan" is seen just shortly post- the events in Part 1, then eight ( 8 ) years later he must defend a now- 19 year old "Nancy" ( Jessica Alba ) against a now hideously deformed "Yellow Bastard" ( "Roark, Jr." from Part 1 ) [ Nick Stahl; ] "The Customer is Always Right," Part 2: "The Salesman" ( from the Prologue ) is seen starting a conversation with "Becky" ( Alexis Bledel ) [ from "The Big Fat Kill" segment ] in a hospital elevator; End credits. [ NOTE: Listed in the theatrical cut edition order, NOT the later - on DVD release - the Recut, Extended, Unrated edition order. ] Brilliantly filmed, digitally, mostly against green screens, in black-and-white ( with splashes of color ) - to match the style of Miller's graphic novels. Being a Robert Rodriguez film - there is, of course, an outragous amount of violence ( some of it graphic. ) So be warned. Also contains strong language and brief ( female, top frontal ) nudity, and a brief ( non graphic ) sex scene. MPAA Rating = R.

15:27 Wait a second! Do you want to tell me that kids are not allowed to enter a bar like this in the USA? 😮 If so what do people do when they are out and about with their family and spontainiously want to have a drink? Do they leave their children outdoors? As a European (Austrian) this concept is totally foreign to me.

When I was much younger I saw this in the theater in a predominantly black area of town. I only mention it because at one point I had to go pee. As I was going back into the movie, there were about three real big black guys calling me nuts for going back in and saying no way there were gonna go back. They were scared to death and I just always found that amusing.

Your reaction to Salma changing into whatever kind of vampire she was, was almost as epic as your reaction to when the guy in the first Alien movie was revealed to be a robot. Almost. I’ve said this in other reactors’ comment sections. Adam Sandler completely committed himself to this role. At the beginning of the movie, he’s his usual, pudgy, out-of-shape self. By the time he starts playing football, he’s trimmed down and looking more believable as a football player. When it comes time to play against the guards, his physique is complete. He’s athletically built and believable as a player.

Psycho's don't explode when the sun hits them! might be the best line ever! Such a fun mindless movie! I love how the movie goes completely sideways in the middle. It reminds me of staying up late on weekends in the 1970s watching B-Movies (Movies til Dawn) TV went off the air between midnight to around 5am. On weekend they could afford to show these low budget movies on Fri & Sat. The writing budgets were so low that any movie could wander off in random ass directions about halfway in, so I really appreciate the random ass turn from crime drama to vampire movie.. Growing up in LA. Tarantino's attention to detail has a way of taking me back to my childhood with ease. He must have been a fan of (Movies til Dawn)
