Love to see a happy new EV GFC camper! I love having mine on my Ford F150 Lightning. Takes about 0.2 mile per kWh of range but worth it. Have spent around 20 nights in it since I got the Lightning, and loving it. If no convenient fast chargers, I just camp in an RV park or state park for a night, and charge from a 50 amp pedestal overnight. (Or just a long nap once). Camp on!

All good but they need to update the ladder so that the treads remain horizontal when you lean it against the GFC. I hate going down the ladder on the edges with bare feet. Additionally they need to have a system that automatically pulls the tent back from the sides so your not clapping the tent into submission. Best way to do this would be to make the struts holding the tent up push the tent in.

We LOVE our V2 XL. It’s a great setup. My only future suggestion is an origami hard-panel option up top, just to really seal the deal on Ski weekends in the GFC. Maximize heat retention and minimize wind noise… win win.

SOLD…..BUT did they deal with the issue everyone complained about water seaping in when its closed and there is a hard rain? people said they had to open the tent once a week to air it out when it rains

Fantastic tent. Any chance you can add two more poles to the wedge side to gain a lot more space plus a full 360 panoramic view? Maybe, this can be another model and the weight increase would be minimal. Perhaps, you can even offer new fabric to the existing Superlite so that those folks can "upgrade" down the road should they want to do so.

Nothing about that was a GFC topper torture test. Sure, you beat on your jeep but that’s about it. Unless you’re suggesting that opening the panels should be considered a torture test of it’s weak hinges?

I would use cantalevers like a old VW Vanagon instead of the nitrogen shocks so the "hinged" end could.go up another foot. That gives a lot more room for long feet.

Do you have any real world data on temperature differences with the side panels popped open while driving? Im glad to hear cocnerns with ventilation for dogs has been though of, just wondering how much of a difference it makes.

Still don’t see why they can’t add some type of rain cover that comes out over one of the doors. Heavy downpour looks like rain is going straight in if you try to get in or out.

Nailed it! So proud to serve the GFC community in the PNW. We are ready and waiting for the upgrade train to get rolling! The improvements are testament to a dedication to the ethos that no GFC camper ever ends up in a landfill! We are here for it - I wish I could be more specific... maybe even super specific.

Looks like a lot of improvements. I’m surprised you guys didn’t add in pass throughs in the tent for vent tubing for a diesel heater. This is available on the new fsr rooftop tents. Was there a reason not to add this?
