- Susan D. lives in Boulder, CO and worked as an Analytical Chemist around the world for 23 years. In 2004, and at 58 years old, she retired and starting volunteering at Yellowstone National Park in Montana. She loves to educate people on why National Parks should be important to us, why we should protect them, and why we should enjoy them.
As a volunteer in Yellowstone, she found that people were worried for her because she was a tent camper. Grizzlies, you know. She is happy as a clam now that she can retire her tent at the campground and doesn't have to sleep on the ground anymore!
She can read her book inside the camper and even stand up. I think we can confidently say, she LOVES it. Being 4' 11" also isn't even a factor.
One of the many things Susan and us have in common is that she is a simple camper. She doesn't need much and we give you a rugged, no-fluff, platform to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

I will be 78 in December. My GFC was installed on my F250 about three weeks ago. We have only spent two nights in the camper so far.

I want one too for my Maverick Tremor
I’ve heard there is a topper/camper for the Honda Ridgeline (aka Topless Pilot) but I haven’t seen any photos or videos. Is this true?

Curious about the GFC impact on Ford Maverick hybrid mpg? Any reports from actual Maverick hybrid owners? Thanks!
I haven’t noticed much of a difference in mpg when installing the gfc on my Tacoma.I’d say maybe I lost half an mpg. Possibly 1 mpg on headwinds. I’d assume that transfers over to the maverick even less since the top is more snug with the cab
Hey! Susan reached out to us after seeing this comment to report that she has not noticed any difference. She is still getting more than 50mpg around town and even driving from Wyoming to Colorado. 3,500 miles later, she says mileage has stayed the same.
