  • Here's an in depth look on the TurboCubby (gofastcampers.com/products/tu...) assembly and installation.
The cabinet system is retrofittable to all V2 Camper and Topper models, and is affixed to the lower frame by utilizing the upper well-nut holes (upgraded to Plus Nuts), and a steel mount that is captive between the upper and lower bed mounts. These mounting rails allow for easy installation and removal of the cabinet by 1-2 people, and provide rigidity to the system.

    FAQ:
What is the weight capacity of the cabinet?
Maximum weight is too dependent on the vehicles use-case to specify a rating. We typically run a heavy bag of recovery gear, a pelican toolbox, a big air compressor, stove, propane tank, cook partner stove, duffel bag of clothes, bag of cooking gear, three gallon water can, a couple of camp chairs, and various other odds and ends.
Is the cabinet only available in a single side configuration (Driver or Passenger)?
The cabinet is available in both configurations; your preference will vary with how you use the truck. Driver Side: Often accessing gear while driving, the driver’s side is most quickly accessed without walking around the vehicle. Passenger Side: Often accessing gear while parked along a sidewalk or roadway; this keeps you out of traffic and closer to the point of use.
Can I access my stuff from the inside of my Camper or Topper?
Yes! Each cabinet has an access panel cut into the rearmost section of the cabinet, and can be retrofitted later to a sliding door (not currently released)
    Is the cabinet model specific?
Yes. Each cabinet is generated on a parallel template to the specific Camper or Topper. This allows for a perfect fit, optimizes for strength, and maximizes usability.
Does the cabinet come in any colors?
The cabinet is available in a single color; Bright White River. This coating has the same texture as our river texture panels, and offers excellent durability and wear resistance. The bright gloss white color illuminates the interior, and helps you locate your gear more easily.
How many vertical dividers are there?
For beds from 5’ to 6.75’, there is one vertical divider that creates two separate bays. 8’ Beds Include two vertical dividers, which create three separate bays.
    Are the vertical dividers removable?
No, each divider is actually a structural member that provides torsional strength to the cabinet. However, we do sell non-structural dividers that can be used to segment shelves
Are side braces required in conjunction with the cabinet?
It depends; for most off-road and on-road applications, side braces are not required and can be removed. If the truck gets jumped or frequently encounters strong or consistent impacts (ie whoops) we strongly recommend keeping the braces installed.
Are the shelves fixed in place?
The shelves are fully adjustable, with 5 different height adjustments. They are also adjustable in length, so they can be placed into any of the slots regardless of front or rear panel rake angle.
Does the camper need to be removed for installation of the cabinet system?
The cabinet is designed to be easily assembled in place, without requiring the removal of your camper.
Do I need anything in addition to the cabinet?
You must have “Billet Upper Bed Mounts” for this installation, as the lower mounting shelf cannot be adequately secured with older style sheet metal/extrusion hybrid upper mounts.
    How many shelves are included?
One shelf is included; additional shelves and non-structural shelf dividers are available for purchase separately and can be added at any time.

Does the TurboCubby interfere with the function of the Honda Ridgeline trunk? A small drift pin or even a nail might prove useful to align the holes.

Can the turbo cubby be removed once installed ? Just thinking of certain times I’d want to have it in and other times when having the extra space may be beneficial. Any insight appreciated !

You can always remove the TurboCubby if you would like. As easy as it goes in, it can come out. It's all up to you how you want to use it!
