I'm not surprised that the Taro root survived. It's invasive here in Florida. It has taken over ditches and fresh water ways in many locations.

I tried to grow pineberries but after 3 years with no flowers or fruit, ripped them out and put in regular strawberries. They just took over with runners.

I bought 3 of those from Lowes as the Lowes truck drivers are usually stronger than UPS. They took them right to my back yard for me. I'm spending a year filling them up with what I can find for free before paying for the store bought soil.

What risk is there from the galvanized coating making its way into the vegetables?

I unsubscribed from both of these channels long ago. Patera (hope I spelled correctly) just too much ranting and not much about homesteading. Doug and Stacy, conspiracy-land. Actually, with D & S, the egg laying chicken feed controversy was the end for me.

ya should do the fake van lifers some got exposed not like this my cousin lived in a van he had too wear the same outfit for 3 years and he never had food everyday or lunch or dinner most days he would fast . you cannot make money or get food . my cousin quit he though he can do that like others too . he got tired off the cops getting called on him because he was light skin verse his white friends or companions on the road . so yea he got fed up off the harassment from normal people that come too his door for no reason or steeling his stuff he just got tired .

Couple years back I called out Doug because he claimed the work he was doing on Mom's house was a log cabin. I respectfully commented that those are wood panels over a conventionally framed building, far from an actual log cabin. They promptly deleted my comments and blocked me which is what I get for simply telling the truth.

I was looking at similar debating trellis or small gazebo for Arctic Kiwi and some other vines. Ended up with a trellis with spots for pots on the sides.
