That is awesome!
Yay!! Good luck to your potatoes 🥳 🥔 and I’m really excited to see how the corn does in a container !!
Love your property! It sounds so peaceful with all the birds 😌
Thank you!
we usually plant our potatoes on Good Friday around here. I'm so late. Been planting my potatoes in feed sacks for 3 years now. Love your pup he is so cute!
Sacks and bags work great for potatoes. Max says thank you!😊
Gooood afternoon from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great afternoon!
Thank you and you as well!
I did my potatoes in boxes this year. They're up, so we'll see about how many we get. Awesome video.
Thank you! Good luck 🤞
You have put in a alot of work for everything you've done. Outstanding
thank you!
I found potatoes are overwintering in Michigan and I plant the 2nd week of April and they come up fine plus my volunteers I miss. Guess being underground they're fine. Been doing that about 20 years.
That’s amazing! It doesn’t over winter well here it’s too cold and wet. Maybe I’ll have to experiment some more
@HillsideHomesteading Got to 22 below this winter and now they're popping up all over. I do have them in grow bags and a raised bed. Better results and more than in the ground. It's been soggy for a month and they still came up.
Previous winter 33 below and volunteers too. I keep discovering new things. I now plant onion seeds in fall like garlic. Already bigger than my ping ball sized ones if I try in spring.😆
wow! thats awesome! ill have to try again
@HillsideHomesteading 30 years and I keep discovering different ways to do things. Areas differ but find others are discovering the same things most wouldn't consider. There are those that plant onions in fall I found. Still have to conquer carrots. I get them but takes forever and not as nice as what I see on youtube and still lots of tiny ones. Learning never ends.
I planted my seed potatoes yesterday in bags. What zone are you in?
5-6 so still early for us
Started my purple seed potatoes about 2 weeks ago and they are doing amazing!! Mid Missouri here zone 6b
@@prbyangelica4284 OK. I'm in Ohio. Zone 6a. I have been thinking of doing purple seed potatoes. But I think I will wait until next year.
you still have time for this year, good luck!
