thoughts on filling cups half or less with potting mix until the seedlings reach above the top of the cup? Once have their 2nd growth of leaves, fill the cup the rest of the way with potting mix. it seems to help with sturdiness and minimize them becoming leggy (especially with tomatoes and peppers). Any feedback welcome!

If your light is close enough they won’t get leggy and some plants don’t like being hurried deep. Tomatoes love it though
