I've had trees downed I thought were a risk to the house. I wouldn't doubt the storm scared the duck off and is fine now.

Ugh! It’s always the favorites!! I had a mink get into my duck house and kill 3 of my ducks. One was our very favorite, a white Pekin named Rosey. It really broke our hearts. But several of our favorite chickens have been killed by hawks too. The only good thing about Rosey’s death was we were able to hatch one of her eggs and we got lucky with a baby duckling that looks just like her. We named her Hope. 🙏💕
