    I stumbled across you because of your Doug and Stacy video. I love this though! I'm fortunate because the nutrition program I went through didn't push the plant based agenda. Fellow colleagues are how I even heard of Carnivore to begin with. It really helps with my Lyme and CIRS. Not a total fix for me. But things are sooooo much better with this way of eating. Really happy to hear it's helping you as well!

    It took me a lifetime to learn that lesson. I prefer a balanced diet (because I love vegetables) with a protein as the dominant serving. And I use FAT (usually butter) to cook these things. Now I eat less. I lost a ton of weight adding more meat and fat to my diet. Digestion is perfect now.

    I did the same thing. I was mostly all plant base for few years and I was not getting healthier until I added clean meats back to my diet except any pork. I think diet types has to also do with your blood type. Type O people need meat to flourish. Im type O. Look into eating by your blood type.

    • @juliec.5182
      @juliec.5182 8 місяців тому

      I think the blood type diet has been proven incorrect. If all plants are toxic (even slightly) then why would type A need to be vegetarian? I’m A and it just doesn’t make sense. I think the O diet is mostly correct for all. 🙏💕

      There is to much nature stuff growing around you to be buying supplements that do not work. Look on UA-cam for nature stuff and what it does for you. Dandelion, Goldenrod, honey, the use of raspberry, fenugreek, licorice, garlic and acacia are not modern practices but ones that have been in use for thousands of years and beyond.

    Changed to carnivore 6 months ago.. high blood pressure gone, depression gone, skin issues gone and down 65 lbs. Im definitely not perfect on it, but my mood!!.. it took all the gray away.. its easier to do this way if eating just from having normal thinking. Its easier to be and stay on this way of eating, and not cheating, just from getting all the nutrients i was missing.. so, now that im getting what my body wants.. its amazing!!

    Thank you my little sister, this is a good lesson and I thank you for your teaching. I am 60 years old and l Could assume that I already know what you are talking about, but that would be the arrogance of objective thinking. You give me a different perspective and by this become my teacher, If only for a brief moment. 🙏🏽
    You make me proud young lady. You are taking a big step out of the compartmentalized, Noun/Objective based thinking and, even if only unconsciously, learning to see through Animistic, Relative/Verb based thinking.
    Let me explain.
    Society teaches us that The object (physics) of something is what is important, and that the relationship (Metaphysics) of the something is irrelevant. Yet if you say cup to a thousand people, you will find a thousand different cups, because no two people will ever imagine the same exact cup. By this we are able to discern, through true scientific reason that it's the relationship, reason something exists, that is important and not the object of something itself.
    What you told me, by relation to things I already know, is to realize that herbivores, especially herd animals, require a four chambered stomach to digest their food, whereas Carnivores requires only a single chambered stomach. So by this alone, nature tells us that vegetable matter is harder to digest than flesh.

    I eat a ton of meat now. I used to balance it, but I eat more meat now. For dinner today, just dinner, I ate four 4 oz chicken thighs, 3 jumbo eggs, 2 strips of bacon, and 2 cups of milk. I can easily eat three or four 8oz chicken breasts a day. I lift weights, so I'm sure that has something to do with that, and I'm highly active.

    It probably didn’t work for you and many people who opt for a healthier diet is because you need to detox. You need to detox before you begin that diet and during. I’ve heard that many people do a plant based diet but no one mentions detoxification.

    • @HillsideHomesteading
      @HillsideHomesteading  10 місяців тому +1

      Nope not at all. I made several points about my health and that I’m all natural for almost 20 years, detoxing was very much part of that.

    I use to be really paranoid about everything I ate. I would buy organic, drink from glass jars (instead of plastics), etc... It became too exhausting. Idc anymore, I try to watch my sodium and cholesterol besides that anything is good. I wouldn't suggest getting too caught up on the carnivore diet or w/e. It has its problems also (chronic diarrhea).
    About grains: A lot of the world survived on grains for a long time. The Medieval ages bread was commonly ate, big pieces of meat were not ate much as we usually think. That's a common lie we're told. Even the Vikings ate grains and vegetables along with their meat and fish. Everything in moderation.

    • @HillsideHomesteading
      @HillsideHomesteading  10 місяців тому

      I was paranoid as well but now I’m so much more relaxed and I eat what I want. About the bread yes people ate bread but if you look closely, it was the poor who ate the most amount of bread and grains while the kings ate rabbits and hunted meat, they knew how to keep the poor well poor and weak with a shorter life expectancy than the rich who gorged themselves on game(meat) especially the nomads and Vikings they are known for eating large amounts of meats.
      I appreciate your comment, I really just eat what I instinctively feel like eating which weirdly enough is mostly meats.

    Most plants are low in minerals, vitamins, and calories yet high in nutrient inhibitors. Eat mostly herbs for plant food and most of the rest from meat. Veggies are good in correct proportions and balances. Ocalates, lectins, phytic acid, and molds are the main toxic compounds in plants. Fiber is debatable. I have to avoid wheat, yeast, and dairy.

    One thing to note is that humans get the majority of their vitamin b12 from red meat ,fish and eggs. When a person stops consuming red meat, fish, and eggs it takes about 12 months for our body to become completely depleted of vitamin b12. The result of having vitamin b12 deficiency can lead to symptoms like weak muscles, numbness, trouble walking, nausea, weight loss, irritability, fatigue, and increased heart . These prolonged symptoms can also lead to depression.

    • @HillsideHomesteading
      @HillsideHomesteading  8 місяців тому

      Absolutely! Not to mention the fat soluble vitamins like vitamin d can only come from things like eggs and other animal fats.

    You misspoke about the grains not having any nutrients. That is definitely not the case but I understand how you got to that opinion. The grains that are used in processed foods like the cereal you mentioned have the majority of the outer layers of that grain removed. Those outer layers are where you find those nutrients, hence, why the industry has to add the fortified nutrients, to make the product look better than it really is

    • @HillsideHomesteading
      @HillsideHomesteading  9 місяців тому

      Oh I didn’t misspeak. They don’t have nutrients that are bioavailable to humans. This is why they fortify grains and cereals with synthetic vitamins and minerals

    One of my kids and one grandchild were vegetarians. Then they both realized that they were missing some enzymes when they did not eat a little bit of meat.
    Currently, I say we "pretend to be vegetarians and use meat as a condiment". But, that is us.
    For my son, we have to avoid certain veggies that are densely nutritious but for his specific health we have to avoid.

      I watch Dr Berg and Dr Ken Berry for Keto i8nfo and Dr Berry had a video a while back about the seven components the body needs that will never come from a plant. And synthetically made supplements for only some of these seven are questionable.

    • @HillsideHomesteading

    Glad I found your channel. It was as a result of the Doug & Stacey video you did. You're on the right track now with your eating habits. Most nutrients are no longer in our fruits & vegetables anyway. A report said there are only 4 minerals in the soil as opposed to the 17 that are usually found in fertile soil. We are blanketed with pollution in the air, the earth and the water so we must constantly examine food labels and sources to ensure the best for our bodies. Two excellent books (if you can find them) are The Invisible Rainbow (Firstenberg) and Soil, Grass and Cancer (Valois). Both highlight the impacts from man's industrialization of the planet, much to our detriment. Be mindful of the times we're living in as the agenda of the globalists is de-population, so don't eat ze bugs as their exoskeletons are indigestible. Indigenous people when short of nutrients will eat insects, but only the liquid in their bodies, which they suck out.

    I’m new to your channel, so if you’ve ever covered this topic before, please forgive me. But…
    Don’t kick the grains to the curb just yet. Lol. My husband and I have been milling our own wheat berries and making our own bread, weekly, for about 3 months. It has changed our lives and our health SO much! No more belly bloat, no more gas or digestive issues, no more constipation (sorry..tmi, I know, lol). I don’t have brain fog anymore. I sleep better, I FEEL better! It’s seriously worth looking into.
    I could talk about this forever, but here’s a very short breakdown. Store bought, prepackaged bread and flour, even the whole wheat kind, are as fake as it can be. It is not processed the way God intended. Flour companies sift the germ and the bran out in the beginning of the process. If they’re bagging regular all purpose flour, they do nothing, but if they’re bagging whole wheat flour, they add the bran and germ back in at the end of the process, and the proportions are WAY off from what they should be. Milling your own really is the way to go, because the fiber God gives us from the bran and germ portion of the wheat seed, are what promote good gut health. God knew exactly what He was doing, trust me. 😊 Remember, Jesus is the bread of life. 😉
    I do agree with you about eggs and meat, though. However, I personally have to have veggies, but it’s not the main part of my diet, either.
