I did see an interesting thing once when someone questioned god’s intentions when natural disasters and things like cancer exist etc - and the response was that in order for life to exist, death and destruction and disease is all a part of it. Complex life on earth would not exist without viruses for example. So I see that as more in favour of evolution rather than a supreme being that allows these things to happen. There’s questions that science hasn’t yet fully explained like what happened before the Big Bang - but science has explained most things a lot more clearly than any religion

Well the whole thing about when scientists get something wrong they at least admit it, and work, and build on top of those mistakes to give them a better understanding of whatever topic it may be. While religion cannot be questioned and is firmly stuck in the way the think universe and everything around them works. But also your point on theories, yes many of them have been proven wrong but also many of them have been proven to be right/ the most accurate. For instance gravity, gravity was just a theory until it was proven by multiple people through multiple experiments. People have a pretty big misconception when it comes to science bc of what the media provides. They only will report on the most click baity things to get their views. Don't rely on major media outlets for your scientific news. I would recommend Ground News bc it will tell you how heavily biased the article is, it will tell you if the article leans more left or more right. But I use it to get the most reliable science news I can bc major media outlets tend to be heavily biased one way or the other.

Every sentence starting by "I believe..." is a big acknowledgement of ignorance. Otherwise, the sentence should start by "I know by a fact...".

Evolution doesn't work that fast in humans. We are not way more evolved than people say just a few hundred years ago. We had a few key advancements that catapuleted us into the modern era.

Here's a question that I've never seen asked and is also never referred to in the bible, (which is the most familiar religious writing I know). Why did this god create us? According to the bible life is a sort of test and the whole human race will get judged on a specific day; but nobody seems to have a theory as to why it was all created. This alone give cause to doubt the existence of a deity and also makes the ''we're all born in sin theory'' somewhat paradoxical.

Just because you can't prove all science absolutely and completely straight away, that doesn't mean you can just make stories up about something forming the earth and man in a day, and that someone was born of a virgin birth, and turned water into wine and died and then came back to life, and all of the other complete rubbish. Thousands of years ago, very little science existed, so it is understandable that stories and rrumours and gossip ended up forming the basis of religious books to sort of explain the existence of everything. We now know of course it was all twaddle. But it is so disappointing that billions of people still believe it. And so much worse is that because different stories do not align ( different religions), wars happen. Root cause of all wars is religion if you look deep enough. Disgusting. All religion is disgusting. They preach peace but not with those who disagree with a particular fairy story. How can this be!!!!!
